- Here's a look at the Fort Myers Beach Margaritaville Resort progress. Shot April 22nd, 2023. You can see the beachside pool is starting to be poured and they are topping off the late Sunset Terrace at the main building.
You're going to live it!
I live in Cape Coral. Thanks for the videos.
Cheers! Thank you
Looking better everyday I live in the Cape and have been following the progress Margaritaville will be a shining star for the beach
Not quite the charm that it used to have. I so miss Pierside Grill and Blowfish Bar.😭 Margaritaville will be a great jump starter for the beaches recovery, though, so I'm happy it's making swift progress. I can't believe it is SO HUGE!
Keep up the great updates.
Will do!
Thank you! I surely hope to get there soon after opening.
It's really a great place now.
This will really help with the recovery. Much better progress than the rest of fmb
I visited yesterday and made a little video I'm publishing today on YT. It has come so far! We were able to get a drink and walk around, even while they are still working on it.
Cheers!
Looks like along way to go still!
They are say late 2023 for the opening.
Weird, as hard as the island residents fought to keep them off estero island it looks like now they will be one of the few places open a year after the hurricane. At least it is a light in all of the darkness the island is experiencing. Keep pushing it will be better than ever before.
Cheers
As obnoxious as this looks now.... I have to admit I can't wait to order a margarita someday right about here. I'm assuming they'll have a bar open to the public even if you don't stay at the hotel..... Thanks for the update!
Yes, they will have lots of open to the public areas.
Pier will take 3 years minimum to rebuild. Beach and water still has too much debris. Unfortunately not much to do now.
I don't think it will take that long. If it does it's not the amount of work that needs to be done, it's the fact the city has no money to pay for it.
Looks underwhelming compared to other Margaritavilles
That's by design.
