Please don't stop doing these daily lookahead shows! they are the best & i listen to them all. I really miss your pregame show you used to do last year leading up to tip-offs as well.
Hey Josh. I have never left a RUclips comment before but I'll do it now just to tell you that I always appreciate and listen to the daily lookaheads! Would love to see some form of this show continue, but obviously it has to be worth your time. In particular, what I find valuable about the shows are looking to 'chunks' of the week ahead and the list of daily streamers. More generally, I don't have time to follow everything in the NBA but I know that with the daily lookaheads you'll always bring up major fantasy-relevant news from the games before even if it concerns a team that isn't playing on the day you're doing the lookahead show for. I don't have the time to keep up with everything that goes on in the NBA every night so I love these quick, ~25 minute shows I can listen to during my daily commute.
As someone who listens to you every day and has done so for the past 2+ years, the daily lookahead info echoes a lot of what you cover in the daily recaps, injury updates, weekly look ahead, and waiver wire trends. Not that that's a bad thing because people will still complain about you not covering something when you talked about it 3 different times across different videos. Hell, people still don't know why the soundboard is gone. If it is truly too much effort to make these daily look ahead videos, I think you can make a quick 1-2 min video summarizing key matchups and pickups for each day and make your other videos longer with look ahead added at the end where you do monstrous line of nights or names to watch. My favorites are the shows you do basically impromptu in reaction to a major injury or trades. Keep up the great work, Josh.
I know a comment doesn't change things but I love the daily previews. But completely understand if the engagement isn't making it feel worth the time and effort, you offer this for FREE, we're grateful. Hope you can find a way to deliver it that makes it more worth it for you as well.
I watch your shows everyday and listen to every word of advice. This was my first season and you’ve helped me with climbing up from the bottom of the draft. Thank you man
Definitely value in the show Josh. I think the live chat engagement is important so maybe adding that into the show with like a 5 question summary at the end.
First and foremost thank you so much Josh for the top notch content you are delivering on a daily basis. I listen each of your daily shows and I truly appreciate the effort you put in in order to provide meaningful content. I trust you with the decisions you come up with your bread and butter, but I'd like to highlight the importance of the daily preview shows as it is superb source of information related to ever changing injury and schedule related topics in NBA. Your expertise and opinions related to start and sits are something that the injury reports (nor Twitter/X) do not always provide and your hit ratio is actually really good (and something to be proud of) when it comes to information not communicated by the teams. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Hey! 🏀 Been watching for 3 years now from California! 14 Team 9 Cat Some thoughts worth considering? 🤷🏾♀️ What I like about the daily preview: - Injuries and replacement streams - Team schedule reminders - Streams of the day breakdown (10,12,14 Cat) - Your hilarious rants/tangents (Put a timer up for yourself so it doesn't get out of hand haha can I get 3 minutes to go off on Revenge games) What could get nixed: - On your Radar (I like hearing your thoughts of course, but it rarely is specifically useful to me because it is just one or two players and perhaps takes the most time) - Team schedule (I said I like this but I also think you go over it pretty extensively in the weekly preview so can be redundant.) What I would like to see? - On 11+ game days - Information that helps me choose who to start over others when forced to choose) - On Quality game says - More focus on streams only - Team Offense and Defense ratings (Plus any specific unique team stats that impact fantasy, like Turnovers per game are high so Steals might be high? Or pace of game is fast or slow for these teams so points and assists might be affected) - Predicted starters for each team - Player Match up predictions (I'm envisioning seeing the main starters and 2 or 3 rotation players of both teams side by side at their positions with who is guarding who and a highlight for a player with a favorable match up) - One last fun idea: Include some kind of prediction reward during the daily or weekly preview? Like a Trae Young's total assist number or Wemby block number prediction this week. Everyone that comments includes their prediction and you reward the first correct answer with a funny shout out? If you have the ability, you could ship them a Locked on Fantasy sticker or something easy) it's silly but rewards those that are watching religiously and take a stab at it. Plus the comment engagement rises which means it would bump your visibility to new viewers. Hope this helps you improve your show and move more of the Recap viewers to the Daily Preview show to continue increasing your impact.
Hello Josh,,,, I just discovered this show about a month ago. I used to be a big fantasy guy, but 2 years ago I moved into Sports prop betting as it is legal here. I find more value in Basketball sports prop betting than the other sports, Although this show is obviously more suited for fantasy players, I use it as a tool for my prop betting and it has helped me immensely, Thank you for these shows and I hope you continue them and I hope more prop bettors find your shows and you continue to grow
Yeah frankly I watch all your shows but your recap shows are by far the best. Waiver wire Wed & Sunday shows are also right up there. The streaming page on these are nice, but not sure how to improve this show but definitely open to you experimenting!
I am guilty of mostly tuning into just the recaps show. It’s mostly because I love your input on injuries if and when they happen and who to take. But these shows are really good for that too, I mostly watch them to see injury replacements and ROS replacements. So maybe keep the “on radar” segment and focus more on that to maybe shrink the length of them. But honestly the on radar and the streams is the best best segment hands down. Keep it up Josh ❤
Love the show. Maybe squeeze in a small area that shows Quality games for the week (M thru Sun, possibly green for ‘quality’ and red for ‘don’t bother getting up early to add someone’)
I GLEAN TF OUT OF THE DAILY LOOK AHEADS 🤓 watch and rewatch them the most, never miss one. these are the shows that brings me back every single day.. not the streams or daily recaps, although I do watch and appreciate those 🙌🏼
Hey Im sure you got appreciative comments, including me I like these shows. I will give an example of when I might choose not to listen much: one of my leagues is 3 adds per week, and possibly Friday morning I finished my adds. By then I know there is nothing else to change for the rest of the week. Obviously some weeks there is an add left on Sunday to try win a close category, and thats when Sunday’s show can be valuable. Hope this is useful for you.
These are my favorite shows (if I could have a favorite - i enjoy all your content) but I never miss a preview show be sure it is the best advice out there !
Josh I appreciate your effort on these weekend videos but I really don’t watch them. I really enjoy the weekday shows and sell high/buy lows. Also you should definitely edit a video of every players nickname you have ever mentioned. Would be absolutely hilarious!
Ive been listening for the past year and something I definitely think could help is to refocus the shows based on what the audience’s leagues typically look like. I know 12T Cat points may be the most common, but it doesn’t mean thats what everyone who listens to this show plays. Just confirmation bias but I play 10t H2H points on ESPN. Not because of the format but because thats what my friends who have busy lives play on and it’s the most convenient. And I’ve been seeing a lot of 10-12t h2h points in the chat with questions on trades. So I think it’ll be good to poll your audience twice a year and cater the show that way. You have more knowledge than anyone else I listen to so it would be good to use that knowledge and focus it to the audience imo. Secondly, I think recap shows are more useful than look ahead shows. With the recap shows you use actual data to see the trajectory of where the team is going and look ahead shows are overly predictive and is usually not right on the fringes so all that research and knowledge on who to stream typically goes to waste because teams dont usually listen. I know personally, I keep watching but I dont listen to the streaming parts because its on a 12t cat focus and I just listen for names I should but thats typically not applicable to me so I can see how some people hear enough of that and decide to skip the shows altogether. I don’t agree with it cuz you definitely deserve the support so Ill still give the watch time but yea just some takes. Saying this as a huge fan of the show and with love cuz I watch every episode. I hope you see that none of this comes from a point of hate
Keep these Preview shows, Josh! Have you considered combining The DFS-type Pregame show you used to do and somehow merging it with the Daily Preview show?
The most important thing about this show, in my opinion, is your take on potential rests/players out. That being said, if I were to suggest an improvement, maybe you could make these videos a little later so we have even more up-to-date information.
Hm I’m not sure how this affects views but I’ll be honest with how I use the previews. Usually I have an idea of who are the top players on my wire. So if I’m short on time I’ll skip through the video to the few teams I’m most interested in. Whereas on the daily recap I listen to the whole thing through.
I preferred the older format for the what to watch for segments. You used to provide two guys per player per team and got really into the weeds of the various story lines impacted them and their teams. This updated format seems to focus a lot more on injuries and their implications, which I’m less interested in. I generally care how long guys are out for but don’t need the minutia of detail you get into, especially when it comes at the expense of perhaps covering an extra player for each team like you used to.
Hey Josh, I’m curious… do the views for the daily previews gradually decrease throughout the week? Personally, I love watching on the daily just to be aware and have that knowledge of the league but I’m wondering if other managers don’t feel the need to watch if they’ve used up their adds early on and no longer have any other moves available.
You’re doing great Josh. Maybe speed things up a little bit in my opinion. I love your nicknames and antics. Don’t change let’s just get through it faster.
Do what's best for YOU. I do get good information from you. But most of the time I'm looking for quicker hits on information, you give full blown information and on huge slates, it's the best. If I could give you a suggestion, on the one or three games slates. Take a night off or have somebody fill in for you.
The preview show comes out too late for it to be beneficial, because it’s too close or late to when your move for the next day has to be in. I think most people watch the recap show the following morning on their way to work. If they did the same for the preview it’s too late to make a move. (EST) In my opinion. I watch them and appreciate them, but typically can’t use the information to make a move prior to game time. Sometimes I can sneak a preview in while making dinner.
Keep the preview shows please from a double platinum triple diamond onyx Player. 💎💎💎💎. Appreciate the hard work and all the valuable info and gonna watch all the shows either way 💪🏾🫡
Don’t lose these shows! They are the best

As a Podcast only listener, got on YT to say this: I enjoy the preview shows, they help me set my lineup for that day. Thanks for what you do Josh!
Hey! 🏀

Some thoughts worth considering? 🤷🏾♀️
What I like about the daily preview:

Love the preview shows. If you were looking to add something I enjoyed the daily fantasy values segment from a few years ago

These videos made me from the 12th seed to current 4th and clinched playoff spot thanak to you !! Please
Thanks for all you do! 🐐
I’m a daily listener! Love the show. Hope it stays
These shows are great, although sometimes I admit I skip to the stream of the day so do what you need with that information
Keep these Preview shows, Josh! Have you considered combining The DFS-type Pregame show you used to do and somehow merging it with the Daily Preview show?
If I was only allowed to listen to one of the two shows, in order to win my league, it would be the preview show.
How else will I know who to stream without these shows
Please keep doing these Josh ❤
The chunk section definitely has value and is insightful
Bro this show is everything, this one is for the core audience, better
Your Daily lookahead is has so much crucial info all day everyday day! 🎉
Thanks bro. You are a gem 💎

Hey josh, should i keep lonzo ball or mike conley for 12T punt points ?
Please keep daily look aheads

Should we hold Westbrook?
