    I asked this question after watching the russian almond video by you, but I'll ask again hoping I actually get an answer....what is the difference between a russian almond and a gothic almond? They really look the same to me.

      Beth Magalski from what I have seen in some magazines and stuff, it is the way you actually pur the form on. For the russian almond you close the form, for the gothic, you don't. If you looke down the barrel of a russian almond it should almost look like a triangle. The gothic almond has a nice C curve if you look down the barrel. But maybe someone with more knowledge will let us know what the exact difference is.
