Fun fact: there is an easy way to carry the car seat on your arm. Face them backwards, loop your arm under the handle and to the side so it rests on your forearm and then wrap your hand under the handle clasp of the handle on the side. It takes the pressure off your back. Btw you’re doing great! And she looks just like you! She’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing your journey! ❤

With you mentioning she has been sick frequently I would suspect she may have an immune deficiency. It’s considered “rare” so it isn’t something doctors generally think of as they are taught in medical school “when you hear the hoofs beat think horse not zebra.” But sometimes it is a zebra. And doctors just aren’t familiar with it because they aren’t taught a lot of about all the rare medical conditions.. Her Pediatrician can start the testing for it. It’s a simple blood test to look at her immunoglobulin levels. Sometimes the subclasses as well. Because sometimes there is a deficiency is in the subclass that doesn’t show in the whole IGG level. And if they come back low then refer her to an immunologist for further testing & treatment.

My son, who is now 23, used to get sick all the time, too. He had roto virus while cutting his first two teeth and on our first anniversary. He had asthma and multiple ear infections. Once he became a toddler and had a good growth spurt, he stopped having those ear infections. It was all about the allergies. Keeping his nose dry was of utmost importance and key to everything else. Oh, one more thing, why does it look like you're driving a right-hand drive vehicle?

My grandson is now receiving tubes. For both of these cases its how the ear grows. I personally have never heard of shots. My grandson is only 10m & will also be getting tubes.

Zaxbys is better. I have never been in a Costco either lol. I run my gas low. Try changing your baby's formula. Dairy can cause ear infections in alot of baby's. So try changing to an alternative. Also keep her up for awhile before laying her down after the bottle. Just like us, going to bed right after eating can cause us reflux. So meal, bathtime with a soothing lavender wash, then some snuggles/reading, bed. You are doing great!

I'll give you another one : ) Take your child to see a functional doctor as they get to the root of the illness and do not just put a 'band-aid' over the illness like a medical doctor would. Keep in mind too the more our kids are on antibiotics it can affect their gut health which can affect them when they are kids. Prayers are sent to you!

So helpful advice I hope. Don’t allow her ear to be submerged in bath water. We fought ear infections with our daughter for years. Keep that ear as dry as possible. Also the Dr can give numbing drops to help with the pain. Laying her down with a bottle is hard not to do but it can contribute to the infection. Remember her ears, nose and throat all are connected. I suggest you see a ENT if she’s had infections for months. I would think tubes are in your future. It’s not that scary. Takes no time and the reward for her is worth it. She’s adorable. You hang in there. Your doing a great job. 🌷
