My little sister is 7yo and she said recently "I think I might be a boy instead of a girl, I feel like a boy". If I'd jumped on that and taken her to any sort of gender specialist, I know she would have gotten affirmed as transgender. Instead I asked her "why do you feel that way?" and she said "because boys like the colour blue and like dinosaurs but I like those things too so I must be a boy". That is the level of understanding of gender children have at that age. The fact that "professionals" can take that as gospel when it is coming from someone who's brain is still developing is terrifying.

It's disgusting. I was very tom boy growing up im so glad this wasn't a thing back in my day not that my mother would've fed into it to begin with. Anyways I'm now the girliest adult woman ever, from growing up a "boyish girl" it's normal. Kids do that.... it's part of the imagination and these doctors are preying on it.

Listening to Chloe took me back to when I had my first periods. My grandmother and my mother told me what to expect; "A deposit of blood every 4 weeks or so," was how it was put to me. As it was in the 1960's, Mum put a "Modess" belt and two pads in a paper bag, which I was to keep in my schoolbag. When they started, I was prepared and felt no pain or fear. As my periods became regular, perhaps it will sound strange, but I looked forward to them and found them a comfort. They told me I was normal and healthy. What made me so lucky? Perhaps the attitude of the adult females in my life whom I respected. My heart goes out to Chloe whom I hope continues to heal and has suffered a grave injustice.

A ton of girls go through the tomboy phase- I certainly did for years. I wanted to be "one of the guys" and wore camo shorts and rarely even brushed my hair. I bit my nails, didn't wear makeup, made sure everyone knew I HATED pink. Sometimes I even said said to my mom that I felt like I should've been born a boy. I am so blessed to not have grown up in todays society because if my mother heard that and decided to transition me to a boy... it would've been cataclysmic after that tomboy phase wore off. By the time I entered high school, pink was my favorite color and I was a super girly girl.
It's illegal for children to get tattoos because it's a permanent body modification, but we're jumping at any opportunity to get their biological sex changed? How backwards is society right now.

I’m 40 and thank god I grew up before all this happened. I know for a fact I could have easily been sucked into this. I had social anxiety and felt ugly and awkward, and as a girl in your teenage years feeling this way is devastating. I kept my hair super short, wore male skater clothes, and most of my friends were male. I was a tomboy, and that’s ok. What no one is telling today’s teens is that gender roles/stereotypes are COMPLETELY MADE UP BY HUMANS and you don’t have to change your physical body to match your personality just because it falls more under one stereotype than the other.

I used to deny my gender during my puberty because I felt uncomfortable with the series of changes. I hated having a chest, hated wearing a bra, hated having menstruation cycle. What's worse is that I have gone through several sexual harassment, and this makes me wanted to be a man, because I could've protect myself if I were a male. But now I'm an adult who no longer have the trauma of sexual harassments. I'm glad that I'm still a woman and I like being one, I had happily embraced all the changes that I once denied. Teenagers need time to discover the new changes. We shouldn't be making such a huge change to theur bodies when their brains are still developing and couldn't analyse the risks entirely.

    • @littlebaboo9412

All of our kids felt strange and awkward during puberty. But they are adults now and would never think of being the opposite gender. Since when does “not liking puberty” equal “wrong gender”. Since when does a girl putting a poster of female singers or actors on their bedroom walls equal being uncomfortable as a female? Typical teen behaviours are being labeled as gender confusion. No wonder kids end up suicidal. This country is abusing its children!

Close your legs when seated you are a girl . Learn how to cook you are a girl. You will need a husband to take care of you because you are a girl.
As a teen, you can’t go out alone you are a girl. If cause I didn’t want to be a girl it didn’t seem like there was any advantage being a girl.
After puberty I completely forgot about my tomboy phase and embraced my femininity.

This is the first time I see the testimony of a detransitioner.
A part of me is angry with the parents. Why do every parent cowered when they don’t understand something? As a man of faith my beliefs are far different then that of an atheist. There needs to be more awareness from parents in how to adapt to a child’s growth and needs. I believe God gives us the grace to learn how to educate and guide our children. A simple wave of frustration due to lack of understanding, could be so destructive for the life of our children.
The doctors ignorance also angers me. Psychology and morality need a bigger influence in the medical field. Parents ARE responsible for their children and their mental fortitude , until they reach and age where they progressively shown maturity and independence in understanding what they are and who they are.
Every parent will be judge for their parenting or lack of.
I hope this young woman grows stronger and stronger. She will be a powerful testimony of what misguidance could do to a human being. She will also be a powerful testimony of truth and strength. She knows what she is and who she is. No person will come and implant lies to her , not anymore.

My little sister-in-law is 10 and afraid of puberty, telling me she hates that she has leg hair and "a mustache" etc. I told her that what she is experiencing right now, all the girls her age are experiencing, I experienced it when I was her age, and so did her mom. I let her know that while she feels weird, it's normal, and she doesn't need to change anything. I told her that when she gets older if she wants to wax and all that, I will help her if her parents allow it, but not right now because it's okay for her to look the way she looks. I reminded her that all the concerns she's having about herself, her friends are having about themselves and therefore probably not even noticing her body the way she does. The only "affirmation" that kids need about feeling weird about their bodies at puberty is that yeah, puberty feels weird and completely changes your body and it is scary, but that they're not alone in that feeling, we all have felt it before, and they're not being weird and nothing is wrong with them.

Chloe is incredibly brave for sharing her story and encouraging people to acknowledge the truth, especially today in which you cannot express this without being called transphobic or bigoted. I spoke out about de-transitioners and only getting surgery after the age of 18 once, and I was completely shut down by the TQ+ community, saying that the number of de-transitioners is less than 1% in the world and that I should be affirming one's gender at any age.
This agenda has gotten dangerous and whether the numbers are 1% or more, it's still 1 too many, and it provides further evidence and facts that having gender dysphoria is a very rare mental disorder. It is not cool or quirky and should not be considered without counselling and mental development first. Doctors and adults need to tell these kids the truth instead of trusting the woke agenda, which gives them complete false hope.
I hope more inspiring people like Chloe find the courage to speak out, so more vulnerable children exposed to this agenda are not brainwashed into thinking something that is not true in the long-run.

This is really heartbreaking. I once was one of those cis women who said, "If I ever have children, I will allow them to transition." Now I see that the trans advocates are so biased that they are endangering children. For these trans people, their own puberty was so horrible because they are truly trans. So they are now denying children puberty just so those children don't have to go through the same thing they did. But for many children, puberty is uncomfortable. And that's a good thing, because it's part of growing up. What we need is for everyone to be able to afford psychotherapy and go to therapy "even if they are well and don't need it". Because psychotherapy solves the problems that you don't want to admit to yourself or that you don't even know you have.

I mean litttle kids cross dress allllll the time, little boys don’t know that dresses are for girls, it’s literally the society that ingrains this in their head, how does that translate to them being trans, I have literally zero idea.

I was sexually abused as a little girl. Over and over and over. Then when I had an early puberty at the age of 10 and my breasts grew very large. I had grown men looking at me in the hungry way that I had already seen as a tiny girl. Since this happened back in the 80s, I dealt with it quietly in my own way. I finally did get past the awkward years between the ages of 10 and 15. I was afraid of men, afraid to date boys, and treated every guy I met like a potential rapist. Between the ages of 10 to 15 I saw pretty girls and was “infatuated“ with them. As I grew older, I realized I didn’t want to date them. I wanted to be them. Pretty, confident, self accepting. All of the things I wasn’t at the time. I am not a lesbian. I never was one. I merely had some mixed up emotions for several years coupled with some inadequate acceptance of my growth and development at home. My mom was very prudish. She wouldn’t talk to me about anything. I only had three older brothers. My oldest brother was the perpetrator.
I know that had I grown up in this century and were a teenager five years ago, I would definitely have questioned whether or not I wanted to be a boy. I probably would’ve been pretty sure that I wanted that. I would’ve been sure at the very least that I was a lesbian. I am so grateful that I managed through the awkward times of my childhood by reading Judy Blume books, and having weird conversations with my best friend. It’s comforting having a friend who goes similar things, the awkwardness of puberty.
I am scared for the teenagers who are now dealing with something they may deeply regret, and not even have a voice to say so.

Now, I love being a woman and embrace who I am. That is just how MANY children fee when they are going through puberty. I'm sure many of us know some tomboys who grew up to be very feminine women. If the doctor hadn't put her in for another surgery due to a gut feeling, she would be dead. Shit like this is serious and nobody should have to suffer and take those kinds of risks through it unless it's a life or death situation, especially not a child. It breaks my heart that so many youths are being manipulated, only to end up trapped in a body that's falling apart thanks to doctors who promised they would help them. But children aren’t regretting it tho, 98% of people who get trans affirming care don’t regret it. And those surgeries are only done for young adults over 18.
Medications under 18 are only puberty blockers which are totally irreversible and don’t cause any damage. In fact their aren’t just used for trans kids. My cousin showed signs of starting her puberty when she was 7 so she had puberty blockers until she felt ready to go through puberty (about 12ish). Kids aren’t deteriorating their bodies. Children who are trans that don’t get gender affirming care are 50% more likely to commit suicide. This health care is so important and we need to protect children.
It’s been proven gender affirming care works, if u don’t agree with it how do u suppose we help these children struggling with body dysmorphia.

@bumblebee2372 None of what you just said is true.
Chole stated in the video that she got surgery at 15, and she's far from being the only one.
Upwards of 80% of kids who express gender dysphoria grow out of it if they are allowed to go through a normal puberty. Of kids who do go on puberty blockers or hormones, 0% of them ever grow out of their dysphoria, and that's when they are more likely to commit suicide.
Gender affirming care has not been proven to work. There is little follow-up study, and stories like Chloe's and so many others indicate the opposite. Changing your body does not solve your problems.

@@Rebecca_Taylor well I would like to know where u got ur facts because some of that is just wrong as well.
My 1% regret rate from SURGICAL transitioning came from the article “Postoperative Regret Among Transgender and Gender-Diverse Recipients of Gender-Affirming Surgery” written by Harry Barbee, PhD1; Bashar Hassan, MD2; Fan Liang, MD2 which u can read about and talks about how low the regret rate is.
For the 18+ surgeries I live in the UK so laws like that don’t allow children under 18+ to medically transition. So I am not familiar with the US laws and the statistics. But I do know that children and adults that get hormonal treatment have shown to reduce risk of suicide, improved mental health, lowered levels of anxiety, stress and overall have created a higher level of social support and quality of life. “The Effects of Hormonal Gender Affirmation Treatment on Mental Health in Female-to-Male Transsexuals” written by Colt St. Amand , MA*, Kara M. Fitzgerald , MA*, Seth T. Pardo , MA & Julia Babcock , PhD.
I am very curious what studies you have read to show these statistics

I went through something similar during puberty because I got my period early when I was 10 and I wasn't ready at all (I didn't even know what a period was) and when i got my period my mum said something about "joining the biggest group of women". I felt disgusted with myself and cringed so hard because I didn't want to be seen as a woman, I still wanted to feel like a child so I went to extreme lengths for around 3 years to make myself feel smaller and more secure in myself by wearing layers on my clothes, trying to physically shrink myself and wearing tight clothes/straps around my boobs so I looked flat and less feminine. I've always been very sensitive to change in general so when something feels different in my body i tend to catastrophise (in the moment its very dramatic and can seem like the end of the world, but to act on it would've be a huge mistake). I also tried to make myself appear less feminine/stereotype because i didn't want to be seen as a woman, i wanted to be me and to be seen as a person with a sense of humour (which boys in my class had and i looked up to), to the point i was so uncomfortable with the colour pink and rejected any stereotypes of girls. I would have done anything back then to get rid of my boobs, height reduction surgery or any trace of feminine figure i had but now I am so glad I didn't have a chance to because I'm fine my height, the size of my boobs and my figure. Most of the time it's not because children are "born in the wrong body" they simply aren't ready or comfortable with the changes! I heard a 7 year old trans girl say something like "ew i don't want a beard or boy parts" like as if everyone else is completely ready!! There are kids who do know they're trans from a very young age and don't regret it, but this type of surgery should only be done in exceptional circumstances bearing in mind how easily identity can change at this age.

I was an awkward shy girl and this made me afraid of men. I thought there was something wrong with me. It did not help that in british schools they scream at you for showing skin. I hated my body. I then saw social media and how women look confident with their breasts and I felt alone as if there was something wrong with me. I did question at the time if I was a boy or not. I then went to SCOUTS and really enjoyed hanging out there as I was treated equally to boys. Being equally treated saved my life. If I was treated different I think I would have thought I was a boy and gone down a dark path.

the problem isn't that is what done to us. It the way media has shown the message. 5 years ago trans was accepted, almost encouraged by everyone in the youtube videos. So many did this 'changes' or did it to their children. Now 5 years later we don't look at it the same say. it should stop. we're sorry we told you the wrong information. Instead its lots of hate and disgust thrown at transgendered people from the public, the public see teens that transitioned years ago as the worst people on the world, when in fact just 4 years ago it was accepted.
Instead of taking a stand, and inform people like Chole does and inform others. We attack the ones who been targeted and bully them on the media, in the public, it is children you bully, remember that.
Take a stand against the medical practice and unlawful methods and surgery, and drugs medical professionals persuade children & parent to use. and treat your victims with care and respect too. This will help both sides.
As example, in my country, the ruling how medicine & treatment giving to people suffering from "gender dysphoria" has complete changed. Doctors aren't allowed to give drugs, or advice of transcare. Instead they look at these people as any patients and try to treat the things they're really suffering from.
Why can't america follow suit? and just change the core of the problem, and not fight the victims with their fist and words?
      ----
If for instance, Chole hadn't got "such fame" or been taking care by a medical professional who seen her issues and given proper help. None of this would've happen to her.

This needs to be talked about more. I'm left-leaning, but my side does an appalling job with this issue when it comes to children. I'm very pro trans rights and protections, but most of these "trans" children are simply not trans. They are experimenting with their identity, which is normal and age-appropriate, but ultimately, this is a cultural fad and will pass with time for most of these kids. I don't care if they dress like the opposite gender or go by the pronouns of their choice, because this is easily reversible. But kids should NOT medically transition. Kids are nowhere near mature enough to decide to permanently alter their bodies and sterilize themselves! That is a choice for an ADULT.

For a trans person puberty is the consequence of being born with a birth defect in your sexual chromosomes that causes a sex organ structure of one biological sex and a brain structure that is more similar to the opposite sex’s (aka existing as a trans-person)
Therefore, the natural puberty needs to be blocked in a trans person and they need to be given cross sex hormones alongside it to go through the puberty of their opposite biological sex to match the brain structure hardwired for a body of the literal opposite sex.
I can’t change that, you can’t change that and no movement in society can change that biology.

As part of my grieving process, I've been listening to these stories. I'm grieving because my friend's daughter, who decided to transition to male at the age of three, just passed away the other day at 11 years old from a massive heart attack. I'm trying to make sense of it all, and I guess for me, this is the only way I can - by watching these videos and hearing what others are going through. I have no idea. At the age of three, my friend's daughter decided that she was male. I don't remember the exact age she started taking hormones, but I believe my friend felt like she was being supportive of her daughter and accepting of what the child wanted. I feel like that's where we go wrong. I feel like as adults, we need to be adults, not friends with our kids. If a child wanted a tattoo at 4 years old, you would make them wait until they were old enough. Why are tattoos not okay, but taking male hormones before a child is old enough to even understand their body is okay? It's really appalling to me; it's just so upsetting. And that's not the only friend I have with a transitioning child, and they're transitioning so young. Like you said, there's so much that gets taken away when you do that.

Jesus talks about hell more than he talks about heaven, and describes it more vividly. There’s no denying that Jesus knew, believed, and warned against the absolute reality of hell.
Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), where the worm does not die (Mark 9:48), where people will gnash their teeth in anguish and regret (Matt. 13:42), and from which there is no return, even to warn loved ones (Luke 16:19-31). He calls hell a place of “outer darkness” (Matt. 25:30), comparing it to “Gehenna” (Matt. 10:28), which was a trash dump outside the walls of Jerusalem where rubbish was burned and maggots abounded. Jesus talks about hell more than he talks about heaven, and describes it more vividly. There’s no denying that Jesus knew, believed, and warned about the absolute reality of hell

What about the children who feel the same way about their bodies but are actually trans and want the treatment? Many trans adults that were unable to transition as youth struggle more with gender dysphoria because they look less like the gender they identify with. Oddly enough there is more transphobia against those who don’t pass as cis than there us for those who can easily pass as cis. So they end up being treated poorly by the same people who prevented them from doing something about it when they were able to.
The same reason this is tragic for this girl, it is tragic for trans teens to not be allowed gender reaffirming care. You don’t need to choose which kids to care about. You just need a better system and barriers in place that prevent misdiagnosis which is pretty rare. Those who regret transitioning as youth are the minority because most genuinely are trans.
