You guys are an awesome example of a father & son relationship. I don’t know what’s this stereotype in Waianae is about. I used to live there & I never had any problem with the people. Waianae people are respectful if you are respectful. They are kind if you are kind. That goes everywhere. Respect begets respect. Just remember that if you’re there & you’re not native or local, you gotta know your place especially if you’re just visiting. Respect goes along way not only in Waianae but everywhere. I worked at McCabe (Stevedores) for 30 years . Retired in 2015 worked a few times with Tumua Tuinei he is a good guy and a good worker .
