- They got married in 1956, after meeting as medical students at what was then known as King Edward VII College of Medicine in Singapore. 62 years later, Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali is still on the road with Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, joining him in his campaign rallies. I agree wholeheartedly on this statement. I would also like to share another statement which is "a woman can either make or break a man". This phrase can be used to the current PM, and even our previous PM.
Tun Dr siti hasmah..you are great soul mate for him...our tun dr M blessed and gifted to get life partner like you. We knew u always take care him like baby. Our humble request pls take care him as u done before this..because we need tun M to lead again our lovely country as prime minister again...we need to save our country and people . We want back the glorious time .. only Tun M can create that.
On one side, I am glad that Tun Mahathir is back in scene to lead and set things right, on the other I really hope Tun can handle the heat in the political realm, with this old age, he should really be retired. Anyway glad with the outcome! Can't ask more from him :) Thanks Siti and Mahatir!

I am a Malaysian who lives in Singapore, just gotten my PR last year and just gotten married to a Singaporean, a good man. I have been working in Singapore for the past 6 years and I was there when Lee Kuan Yew passed away. When he passed away I did some readings on his family and his past life and hence i chanced upon an article about his late wife, a great lady who has always supported her husband through thick and thin. Somehow Siti Hasmah reminded me of her. I wish Malaysia all the best and Singapore all the best in the future. As a resident of both worlds I wish of no conflicts between both countries now and forevermore. May both countries prosper together, :)

To be honest I was never really pleased with Tun during his tenure with UMNO. I knew then the party is headed into perils when he sort of loosen his grip with the aye men around him which eventually led to their collapse as of now. In fact I despised him. Indirectly it affected the people of Msia on the whole. After all that, I, today am a man who has the utmost admiration for Tun.
He is a real man to come out and confess his mistakes and apologize.
And most of all for his ability to free the country from tyranny.

Despite old age & hope for retirement, they prefer sacrificing for the country and its nation, although they have served Malaysia 15 years ago in the longest period of presidency of Malaysia that was of 22 years and yet, here they are continuing what they thought is a responsibility. Hopefully, malaysian citizens will take actions to become better and flourish, like they once used to.

Meet her once, she never tell herself as First Lady of Malaysia or as a Prime Minister wife. She is very simple and never show off. Also she never worn any luxury products like rosmah do.
