@@greenturtlgaming2554 Though that wouldn't make sense, for the dialogue between the engines and humans. Unless that's added for entertainment value.
Here we have the NWR No. 4 'Gordon'. Sister, or brother in this case, engine to the Flying Scotsman. He is the last of Scotsman's siblings still in operation, and living proudly on the Island of Sodor.
I don't exactly know why but seeing all my old favourite trains in a realistic form just made me so happy. I think this video eliminates the stigma we rail fans face sometimes; "Oh, you like trains? You must still watch Thomas the tank engine." Seeing them in this form makes them feel more grown up, more adult, as if they aren't just a part of my childhood anymore. They've grown up with me.
This is how I imagine Gordon’s last run with the express before passing the torch to Pip & Emma. Racing through the sudrian countryside at top speed with all the other engines cheering him on.
The dark times don't and won't last forever. You all need to keep going to keep that nostalgia, magic, and dedication going no matter what is thrown at you.
1:26 This shot is just perfect Nothing beats seeing a big strong steam engine thundering down the English countryside, and I really like seeing the side rods of steam engines at high speed.
I know I am late to the party but you have out done yourself and I know Thomas and Friends are dead now cuz of the reboot but still love it cuz it gives great memories
If the series had been this, 99% of all the insane people it enabled would never have become a problem and railway enthusiasm would have never had the smear on it.
Other things I forgot to mention, the reskin itself is free but might be a tad bit more complicated to install than the DLC and Steamsoundsupreme sound pack (which will be linked for you in the requirements for the Gordon reskin on the Glorianna gaming college website. Although the Gordon reskin should come with a .txt file that instructs you on how to properly install the reskin. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask
@@davidwhiting1761 Yes, but the greatest in reality is Henry because he was our true prototype, what happens is that his plans were stolen and then they made another one, which is Gordon
@@canalabandonador.i.p4415 So you consider Henry a brother then? I've often wondered where he was built. Some think he was built at Derby, but I wonder if he could have been built at Darlington? Raven, as far as I know, was the only designer to build a loco directly in response to Great Northern's unveiling in the Railway Press (the Raven A2), wanting to show that Darlington could keep up with Doncaster. GWR had nothing to prove -they had Castles. The later LMS only built the Royal Scots because they needed bigger engines to haul their Royal Scot service to Glasgow (it was normally 15 coaches and almost always needed 2 locos). It actually wanted the GWR to sell them Castles, but when the GWR said no the LMS requested Castle drawing so they could build the locos themselves, and when GWR said not just no but heck no to that Maunsell provided drawings of his Lord Nelson class. The Southern was in no competition with the ECML - it was more concerned with the GWR. Seems everyone else was taken more by the Castle than your A1 class - except Raven. He and the men of Darlington felt they had something to prove with Gresley becoming the first CME of the LNER and thus be overshadowed by Doncaster. Just saying..
It's gotten to the point where they don't even need faces to have personalities
Funny you mention that, since some fans speculate that (at least in the Railway Series) the faces only exist for the viewer.
Steam engines never "needed" faces to show their personality.

Great minds do indeed think alike, and you sir, have a great mind.
