Another fun cave, and area missed in the Academy of Raya Lucaria / Liurnia of the Lakes region 🗺

One thing I REALLY like about this video is where you slow everything down with the map up showing the location of your position that is easy to follow even if you didn't take the same route to the first stone key
If you are a shield user, guard counters are very efficient against them. Counter attack after blocking.

@@MaxemilioSP I ended up doing it after being so successful against the 3 crystallian bosses in Sellia Crystal Cave. Just a tip for lower level melee classes, use a blunt weapon like a hammer, mace or anything that does strike/blunt damage against crystallian and undead enemies. Wild Strikes is a preferred AoW as it will usually successfully stagger them. They have no resistance to strike damage, but they do for the most part against slash or pierce.

Why the fuck does the game allow me to get into increasingly difficult surprise interactions. Going through this cave fighting to keep 6k in runes just to get killed by the magic spamming mage in the room, to find out there's a triple boss fight, I will never recover from this, I waste so much time going through dungeons tooth and nail to realize I actually cannot finish it. I wish there were areas you could actually go that were leveled to you

I always had a hard time wth those crystal guys 8specially since I played as astrologer for most part) but then i tried incantations and lightning incantations, then, I used placidusax's sword skill and started to launch myself at them and it was more efficient than I thought

Use any form of heavy blunt weapons like hammer and you'll plow through them easier

I killed caster one with morgenstern on my mage(2 handed ofc) with mage spirit, it's a big damage right away and broke mage boss, you stun him every time you hit him with morgenstern. Then you just kite and kill spearman with bow cast

As a caster, use Banished Knight Engvall (he almost wrecked one of them all by himself and he was only +2 at that point) and Rock Sling.
Few comments suggesting Rock Sling, sounds OP 👏🏼
blunt damage does a massive damage. Attack with blunt guys

You probably figured it out already but for others reading after, Terra Magica drops a circle you stand in which amplifies magic you shoot out by 35% for 30 seconds. Remember, Rock Sling is physical so I don't think this helps that, but it is great with Loretta's Bow, and any other magic damage dealing spell.

Use hammer/mace to damage these guys

You will have an easy fight that way

Can you get into the academy without the academy key if you haven’t been into the academy yet? Currently on 2nd play through and started again from scratch and just reached liurnia lake and found this. Didn’t find it on 1st play through
