It not just the game but the actors who done the voices for the characters that make this one of the most memorable games ive ever played, Avon rides again
I'm a massive fan of Hostile Waters! I've played the campaign a TON and was delighted to see someone trying to 'modernize' it. I hope you will continue to update the graphics, and hopefully you can get more people to help you so you don't feel like it's 'all on you' to do!
I agree. While some like the scarab are in my opinion fine as they are others would really benefit from it, for example Anteus to add some relief or the alien spiders that were just ugly in the original game.
Not all objects require higher poly count. Sometimes a small fix is good enough.(like changing apache's wheels from a picture to a proper wheel) The biggest problem are those pixelated textures. :-)
You have done a very nice job here! Besides the lore in the loading screen is barely readable due to fast loading times, I think it would be nice to have something like a "Press a key to continue" in order to have time to read it.
I will say, the vehicles in question are very cool looking no matter how much you look at them, plus the story to my knowledge is very unique. Though explaining this game in a nut shell is hilarious because it never not always confuses people.
In the vehicle creation section you should make it so u can rotate and tilt the camera so you can see the creation engine behind you since its a hidden feature in the game
Where's the smaller reticule on the lower left? I use it as often as not. Just replayed this, such a great game, interested in the rework! Oh where is a proper V2???
8:55 I tought you gave a new ability to scarab. When I was young I tought that the Scarab could destroy the enemy units with the thunder and light. This would be a good ability so if the enemy come so close about 60-100m the Scarab could destroy the tanks.

New textures look great, but I think what the models really need are higher polygon versions for a fresh look. Good job so far!

I played with the old game today! I love this game. It released when I was 9!

At that time we hadn't implemented it yet. In current versions it is already a feature.
