This format is the best I’ve seen in any channel even among channels of huge sub numbers. You deserve more subs. The amount of effort and quality here is insane. Easily best I’ve seen.
Hi what would you say is the creamiest / thockiest the rainy75 hi75 hi8 or m71 please help me choose I saw your video on side by side comparison but I would like to hear your personal opinion
@@MechWhisper thank you so much! But if I were to mod the keyboards which would you say will be the best? I’m fine with modding the hi75 with tape and pe foam and stuffs
@@Oveeythe stock Hi75 already includes the PE foam, removing it will make it sound thinner. If creamy/thocky is what you want, I recommend just going with the stock board.
@@Oveey tape mod acts as a kind of acoustic filter. In general, it cuts out some of the higher frequencies produced from typing, producing a deeper sound. What I notice in the Hi75 and the Rainy75 is that the included foams already helped to achieve this, as a result I don’t hear much of a difference when adding the tape mod. But my ears may not be as sharp as yours, so please listen to the comparison and see if you heard any noticeable difference, use headphones if possible.
Do you have any issue with the charging? My rainy75 stop charging at 50% I charge overnight still 50% The charging port is connecting to the PC The WOB customer service advised that use 10watt power output
@@MechWhisper keebsforall wants 63$(cheapest one) for shipping it. I'm living in germany not in the antarctic xD, why do they want so much for it. I don't understand. 😂
@@creyful Yeah, that's a hefty fee indeed. Have you considered looking into package forwarding services? They work by providing you with a local address in the country of the seller. Once your package arrives there, the forwarding service then ships it to your international address, usually at a much lower cost than what the seller might charge. Just a suggestion that might open up more options.
I just got mine, and while it sounds WAY better than my Keychron Q1 v2, it is quite a bit louder. Which mods would you recommend to dampen the sound a bit?
You can keep all the foam inside (stock configuration), and swap out the switches to a quieter one. Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/YMlEM85iUFY/видео.htmlsi=9iGHQNUB3bvShCtV
thanks for this! i’ve been in a dilemma whether to mod my rainy75 or not but stock sounds perfect! also, would you think it’s ok for me to do a tape mod with the case foam still intact? because i want to achieve max thock as much as possible 😅
@@MechWhisper hey thanks for the reply i have brought rainy75 silver colour, so exited for this kb, they reciently changed the screw to hux 1.5mm bits screws due to some ytuber complained about they are breaking after several time openings them, so problem is resolved
I’ve left a few links in the description of another video where I did the unboxing of this keyboard: ruclips.net/video/OBjNLaPy1BQ/видео.htmlsi=H2TGfnUut-3mB188, check it out if you are interested, hopefully they are still available (the last time I checked, it was) :)

Thank you for your feedback, I’ll strive to maintain this format for this kind of videos :)
Recently ordered a rainy75 and this is exactly the video I needed. I think I’ll be keeping it stock!
Glad you found it useful!
awesome. need more content like this
What if you leave all the foam in and add tape. That is what I am wondering.
Nice video, a lot of possibilities, i always like a tape mode, you deserve a sub
Thank you! This video took me rather long to make, I’m super glad you found it useful :)
My favorite RUclipsr is back!🎉🎉🎉
I’m honoured! 😁
How does it sound with all the foam and three layers of tape?

IMO, in their stock configuration,
Creamiest: Hi75 (maybe Hi8 with a different switch? we’ll have to see…)
Thockiest: Rainy75
Clackiest: M71

I got 1 question. With foamless setup, did the keyboard become too flexy?
Yes, kinda
I want this keyboard so bad ... Wobkey wants credit card only + 35$ only for shipping and aliexpress can't send it to my address. 😥
Perhaps you can try preorder from keebsforall.com/products/rainy75-keyboard (not an affiliate with them but just happened to see it)

Yep! It’s definitely possible, with still some remaining room in the case, together with the case foam.
Was hoping to see this too!
PCB stabilizer supports?
Yes it does support screw-in stabs
Which type of screws it has ?
Phillips head screws
