I would like to thank you all for your incredible comments - I am so humbled. I loved this song the moment I started arranging it for Gary. The Skaparis went further than I ever expected in the 7 performances we had in November 2018, and I'm so grateful to Gary for the opportunity to collaborate with him. Much love, Simon (arranger and conductor of the Skaparis Orchestra)🖤
Thank YOU for sharing your breathtaking art and work! 🧡 For all of us who were unable to attend such an amazing event, for geographical reasons for e.g. (I´m from Argentina ☺), but could enjoy the performance through this platform. This is ART, pure and hard, so necessary on these days of empty content. Many thanks again. Keep up the good work!! My most sincere respect and best wishes for you and your great Orchestra.
@ amazing Colin - yes it was quite a special night that one! Unforgettable - we also had £800 worth of champagne bought by BMG lined up for us after the show backstage which we drank in 10 minutes ;)
This gave me chills, never heard it before. Would've been great as the final desert scene in 'The English Patient' Gary Numan, one of showbiz's good guys, and astonishingly he got better looking as he aged, that's rare
Treated myself to this 2xcd & dvd, for christmas2021. Going to see Gary at Brighton May 1st 2022 my lifelong pal and I. Now in our 60's Mr Numans music is just getting better and better we are lifelong fans x🤩
Mindblowing. I've been a Numan fan since AFE came out when I was a tween. I love synthesizers. But there is something special that only an orchestra can do, and that will always be true.
Wow, this is incredibly moving. Since I suffer from social anxiety I never go to live concerts. But it must be an incredible feeling to experience something like this. Amazing. Savage was an absolutely perfect designed and produced album. Clean, transparent, intense and deep yet catchy and rather lightweight. Very well done.
This is my favorite song . I haven’t felt this moved by a song in a very long time. I can’t wait for the new album coming out this year. Love you Gary ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Been here for the full 40 years..........The legend, that is, Gary Numan continues........ Incredibly moving song, makes me quite emotional, sends a shivers down my spine every time I hear it! Amazing to hear with the Skaparis orchestra!
This is fantastic, the video, the sound, the look, everything! I only knew 'Cars' and 'Are friends electric?' But since checking out his other work, I was missing out! He has a whole catalogue of amazing music. A very interesting and creative artist.
I was crying when I was conducting this @itscrowtime because BROKEN resonated so much in me - I was so angry that those that are against humanity have created such pain on this planet in the past. HOWEVER now the tide has turned. We are being released of these bonds :D Much love Simon (Skaparis Orchestra conductor and arranger)
When I was in eighth grade in '80, I first heard "Living Ornaments" on the radio and got excited. I went in to download a playlist to listen while riding my motorcycle and got into it. The long opening made me think I would be disappointed but the wait is worth it. So typical for him to hold such tension- in any song. about 40 years have passed ... and still, Garry is just- huge!
Wow this is unbelievable!!!! I love it..Gary numan is the best ever...thank you for all your music. My 1 wish in life is 2 see Gary numan in concert....

The guy has run his career backwards! he is more amazing now than ever and that's saying something! I have been a Numanoid since 1979. His music defines my youth. Like a lot of Numanoids, I got ridiculed for loving his music by uninformed school friends, little did they know they were on the wrong side of history. Where are the one hit wonders they worshipped now? Here was a man on the edge of discovery, a modern day Mozart. He was the father of a genre. Ridiculed in his time and now finally being recognised for what he was. But does he ride those coat-tails forever? No. The chamelion changes again, taking some of what was and melding it into something new. The man is a genius ahead of his time, as had been said so often. He isn't some sad 80's act reliving past glories. He is still forging new paths, using the brilliance of what he has created. The collaboration with his daughter Persia, has been amazing to watch. He is truly a special artist, performer and human. Thank you Gary from another Gary.
Incredible song by gary, the orchestra help make this song into a classic anthem.Amazing how gary has re - invented himself into a top musician and performer.
Just awesome. I fell in love with Gary's music when I was young and so happy that he is still going strong. All I can say on this performance. POWERFUL
Gary Numan did what no pop star had the courage to do. He reinvented himself and decided to make darker music. I never liked the pop stuff he did in the seventies and eighties, but everything he's done in the nineties and onward to this day is just fucking amazing. He went from pop to industrial rock and gothic, and dark synth wave. He still is amazing to this day, and I wish more pop musicians would follow his example, but I highly doubt Justin Beiber would do what Numan did.
Heart-shattering rendition of an already soul-crushing song. Gary, you can chock this one up as one of your true MASTERPIECES. I can't wait to read the book that you've said goes along with Savage.
Sorry it has happened to me I've begun drinking i obeyed gods words I'm broke and alone but I remember these warnings about it. This song is prophetic. Ty Gary for helping us remember. Before it's too late

The Skaparis Orchestra really opened Numan's message up by providing a a bittersweet melancholy and thunderous venom sonically. A terrifyingly beautiful live album.
