- With Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse coming out this week, well we get the chance to hang out with everyone’s favorite new Spider-Man - Miles Morales! And in preparation for the movie, well I thought today we would take a look at Miles, his powers and abilities, and see just how powerful this version of Spider-Man truly is. And more importantly, can he ever actually surpass Peter Parker in power - taking that top spot as the most powerful Spider-Man. Well lets get to it!

Also, Peter is a more experienced fighter and was even trained by Shang-chi to create his own fighting style/martial art “way of the spider”

6:37 is where I realized his bioelectric power is slightly edging into being a marvel equivalent to the Speed Force used by Barry Allen and the other much lesser members of his flash family.
I speculate Miles Morales can eventually consolidate his bioelectric energy into a tightly consolidated feedback loop. A loop of energy that is compressed within an inch of his body, granting superior structural integrity to his already superhuman physiology.
It won't make him indestructible as superman but should be enough to bleed off all the plasma generated from atmospheric reentry.
I suppose D.C's Static Shock aka Virgil Hawkins could do the same but it wasn't used in the t.v show in my youth.
This aura like webbing of bioelectric energy would not only make him tougher to the point of flexing off all the plasma formed in his falling from outer space and through the atmosphere.
It could also render the polar opposite effect, if and where he wills the polarity to switch.
Once polarity is switched correctly, he would be generating a resonance field that functionality negates any friction from the atmosphere. He would be able to move through the atmosphere as if it isn't there, yet still be able to gain breathable air.
Super Speed:
While on land, at the very least, his atmosphere negation ability should last at least long enough to grant him up to 90 seconds of unimpeded acceleration.
I picture it as him rupturing the sound barrier without generating the actual shockwaves of doing so, a stealth mach speed that only lets him generate normal aerodynamic friction after the electrical dampening field burns out.
He would be able to acelerate up to and down from the speed of sound without anyone noticing, so long as he does it within the time it takes to burn out his bioelectric power supply. He would probably get severely hurt by sudden impact of mach level air resistance if his bioelectric web field were suddenly to go out while he sprinted at or above mach one.
He should also be capable of short distance flight or, at the very least; generating well timed spurts of ionic wind that facilitates a quazi-flight which resembles gliding.

Bro there needs to be more feats of Miles. For real I still feel like he's still underrated 🙇🏾♂️
Well as of recently (in his comics by Cody Ziglar), he's been training to hone his Spider-Sense to sense the danger coming right before it happens in his face (this was due to his Spider-Sense acting weird due to PTSD) and it's been helping out a lot, but he has to focus to use it. And because he has a sword now, he's been training with The Daughters of The Dragon in learning how to use it appropriately and he's gotten pretty proficient with it, to the point where he can end fights quickly with it.
And as of issue #18 of Miles Morales: Spider-Man, he's gone all out with his spider-strength and bio-electricity by using 100% of both of them together. Miles basically used One For All: Full Cowl 100% on himself and gave himself a new form.
There's still a lot of room for Miles to grow since he hasn't even reached his prime yet, so while yes there does need to be more feats of Miles, we need to see him progress a lot more. But he's making so much progress and it's going to get better from here.

@@innocentanthony3324 I've watched it more than 5 times...and Miles has never shown (in any form of media) that he can out-do what Peter has done.
I mean, at his best Peter has lifted a jet, a part of a building, dodged lightspeed attacks and took hits from two of the Phoenix Five. Not to mention his intellect, skill, training and vast experience.

@@innocentanthony3324 That happened in the ITSV movie...but in other forms of media (comics, games, other cartoons) Peter has consistently shown that he's more powerful than Miles. Just look at how Peter lifted part of the Daily Bugle building in the comics or how he took on Phoenix Colossus and Magik...two Avengers level threats.

His villains, name, spider bite, dead uncle, city, quips, a Gwen stacy, an iron spider suit, a clone saga, spider verse, colour scheme and suit are all stolen from Peter. He does exactly what Peter does in both the comics and games making him completely redundant whilst constantly insisting he’s original. He’s a cheap knock off.

Who wins and why?
Kang beats Miguel O'Hara, Kang has faced too many Avengers or super human beings to not figure out a way to immobilize any individual person, Miguel will be hard to hit but he doesn't have the combat ability to outsmart someone like Kang
Raiden and Thor would be awesome, however the Elder gods of MK would need to get involved to Put Raiden at the durability or physical level that Thor is at and they won't interfere cause they've always been bitches. Thor is currently imbued with the power of Odin (the Thorforce now) and can take on someone like Galactus, Raiden just doesn't have the raw power to take on Thor for longer than a couple of minutes
Black Adam vs Omniman would be insane, however it was shown that while they weren't able to overpower him the Guardians of the Globe fucked him UP, and they're a lower level Justice League (far lower). Black Adam is insane physical power, at least enough to go toe to toe with any variation of Supes but he also has magic, which he can use to blast the fuck out of Omniman, as he has been able to simultaneously take on Superman and Shazam by himself (and they can both easily take him). Very cool matchup but Omniman hasn't shown to be able to take hits anywhere near as well as Black Adam has
I have watched a little of Supergirl so this is just me basing my decision off of what I've seen in the Shazam movies. Physically they're about the same, however Supergirl is vulnerable to Shazam's magic and while he hasn't been show to use it that much in combat in the movies he can still try it and do massive damage (then do it multiple times after he finds out it massively affects Kara). Shazam SHOULD be faster than Kara but idk if that's true with the CW version as they're not really the best to go off of (the inconsistency of the flash his whole show being exhibit A). They might go at it for Days but technically Shazam should win
Green Arrow vs John wick would be badass, however John isn't used to fighting someone who uses arrows or traps, assuming John Walks in on Oliver, GA should be able to easily outsmart him if not completely bombard him with all different kinds of arrows. John's suit is ungodly durable for no reason but something tells me Oliver would figure that out in seconds then blast him away with an explosive arrow or freeze snap his suit and then just finish him off with a regular arrow or two

What about time has anything to do with their physical power... Peter has far more different kinds of strength training, technology and overall skills such as his own form of Martial Arts he developed thanks to Shang Chi who is literally the greatest fighter Earth has to offer. Miles is extremely intelligent but he's not Parker Industries smart, nor anywhere near as experienced as Peter, both as a fighter and in general. He’s not the “ultimate Spider-Man” there’s other variants that have his venom shock like Spider-Woman and his invisibility ability like Anya Corazon (Spider-Girl).

Yet Spider-Woman's venom blasts can't do what Miles can do with his. She doesn't have venom threads, a venom-saber, a venom Kamehameha, mega venom blast that can be a one hit and she hasn't used venom at 100% like Miles has.
So while she does have her own venom blasts, it's nowhere near the same as Miles.
