This actually looks better than the ACTUAL Zelda Wii U title they showed us.
I mean, don't get me wrong, that new HYRULE FIELD IS AMAZING.
But Link and Epona looked terribly Cel-shaded and off model...
But it IS the beta stage and I'm sure it will get better!
After all, a Zelda game IS A ZELDA game. And it's going to be AMAZING! :D
I don't think off-model is the best way to put it. Link's never really had a model to begin with, he's swapped styles a lot since the 80's. This just happens to be the first new look he's had since 2006, so we're not used to it. I do agree with you, though, we can definitely trust that whatever it is, Nintendo won't let us down when it comes to the final product.

That's more the case with every Zelda title since OoT, honestly. Majora's Mask was a horrible failure until Wind Waker came out, when it was an unappreciated gem. Same thing with Wind Waker, same thing with Twilight Princess, etc.
OMG why people still care that much about the graphics?...graphics dont make a good game.

i almost had a heart attack when i saw midna. and it was no surprise that ganon was going to be in this game. it wouldn't make sense if he wasn't. i cant wait until i find out the story line for this game is.

I think "open" sounds (ah, ee) usually are tied with female character names, and "closed" (on, an) sounds are tied to male names.

Because Link and Midna have to both be able to be on the field at the same time. So Midna needs to be independant of him.
DoomedLich looks like a statue she turned to life of the sacred twilight beast.(Link). looks like she made it a bomb too. Though I would love to see Link and Midna working together again.

Ocarina of time, majoras mask and twilight princess are part of the child link timeline.
Wind waker, phantom hourglass and Spirit tracks are both part of the adult link timeline because adult link ceases to exist.
Also your headcanon should of been more like Oot, Mm and Tp because the shade in twilight princess is the hero of time.
Hopefully it has online and split-screen multiplayer.

I have never played a Zelda game before but this game looks really good!!!
I remember that as a kid I used to wonder what game this was. It wasn't Zelda, yet all of its characters where in it. And one day I got the Wii U and with it all of it´s awesome games. I love this game too much
For everyone who is confused: This is not Zelda Wii U. That is coming later. This is a spin-off game made by the people who made Dynasty Warriors. It is not supposed to be a main Zelda game.

I've came.
Link looks normal but with a scarf, Inmpa has her SS look but no dress and a sword, Minda looks normal but her hair is more powerful, and Zelda has her Twilight princess hair but blonde SS dress but more white, and she has a sword the only time we see her with a sword was a cut scence in TP and her Phantom form in Spirit Tracks. Also, I think this takes place after TP
It doesn't take place anywhere in the tl, is set on his own universe :)

If it did have it's own spot in the timeline, it CANNOT be after Twilight Princess. If you want proof, take a look at what Midna looks like at the end of that game. Also, the twilight realm is sealed.
Hyrule doesn't exist before or during Skyward Sword.
Guys there's no need to keep arguin over it :) - The game has its own world and story that are not tied to any others (like the ''The Legend of Zelda'' games are), with characters being taken from across all of the Zelda universe to fill it up, that's it :)

Just remember folks, if you're not sure how the controls are like, you can perform Charge Attacks after a string of normal attacks (Example: Y>Y>Y>Y>Y>X allows Link to do a charge attack while charging with his shield). Movesets are usually the most common misunderstandings in Dynasty Warriors/spin-offs. The Warriors series may be repetitive by it's nature/genre, but there's more variety than meets the eye.
Basically, don't just press 1 button all the time. Combine it with another to make endless combos.

jamestodd140 There was also a brief scene where Link was using a giant purple axe. Watch the trailer again and pay very close attention, it looks pretty sweet.
AstralMuffin105 during the playthrough on tree house, the guy was choosing between the sword and the rod, and there was ??? weapons on the list too. I wanna know what those weapons are nao! >.

I am so glad to see characters in this game like Midna, I love her! Also I am glad to see that Link is left handed again.
Uses a two-foot rapier; Smashes all opponents in a twenty-foot radius.
Link with them manly grunts....real talk i know his/her voice actor be needing a fresh cup of water every hour lol.

This game looks like it could split the fanbase but I have something to say
NINENDO FANS IF WE WANT NINTENDO TO EXPERIMENT, AND STRAY FROM THEIR OLD FORMULAS, then we have to expect some stuff we arent going to like. If we tell nintendo we want new IPs, new ideas, and then complain about what they do every time, then they will just do the "safe" option. Thats not to say that we shouldnt push for what we want, but ultimately, if Nintendo is going to give a large amount of people what they want, not everyone can love every game.

I warms my heart that the hate that this game was given when it was first shown as evaporated. Yes, it is Dynasty Warriors, but this is a fresh new take on the series that has never been seen before! Can't wait to get the final game in hand!

Link sure has grown. It wasn't to long ago he was battling plants and throwing chickens , going around with a crush on the princess. Now he's destroying armies like nothing, pretty sure he's at a point where he'll make zelda wet.
