Hi Leigh, I just got a bowdabra I cwh handmade bows but struggle a bit with bigger bows , I thought it looked fairly easy to use ut after seeing this video it looks way more easier than I thought ,thanks for sharing this video, take care all the best Mary in Australia 🌻😊

Does this work with ribbon no wire?

You can make a bow with ribbon with no wire but you won’t get the same effect. The wire is what holds the loops in place
