That teacher didn’t say 3 girls are falling behind, she only explained about “leaders and followers”. If you put all of them together again in the new class, it will just end up being the same. I think Adam kinda misunderstood that part.

Yeah, he needs to stop thinking of them as one collective group, but instead individuals with individual thoughts and needs.
He comes around and he let Parker and Riley go into the other class. Right now Riley is most advanced out of all the quints.

Well, they are not only individuals but part of a group, too. It must be extremely difficult for a parent having to make that decission at such an early age. It´s not as if the girls had grown up and were going apart by themselves, every one of them at her pace and choosing the things they like most. It´s splitting them when they are not ready for it yet. I would have been as worried as Adam, not only for the three left behind but also for the other two, moving on without their sisters. The five of them have always been together since they came to this world. It must be heartbreaking. Luckily young children are resilient and can take more than we think. Anyway, I´ve never been able to understand American competitiveness and desire to move on and on and their lack of respect for family bonds.

I think moving Riley and Parker up, that the other three girls will have a huge advantage to that because they’ll have to start answering things on their own and things like that. I feel like they relied on Riley and Parker a lot because they also would immediately answer any question for all the girls.

Lucy Charnick it might have even been longer. She couldn't walk so she wasn't allowed in for safety reasons. Danielle was doing therapy and exercises with her for a long time to help her walk

My twins got seperate after preschool because the teacher recommended it. She said one was very bossy and the other one was too dependent on her sort of sounds similar.
Momma dee Dee Now being a fast learner and answering quickly is being bossy? "sort of sounds familiar" ? Even at their own house, Riley and Parker answer the questions. Are you going to call that bossiness too? They answer the question because they know the answer. They are fast learners. Can't a 3 year old be a faster learner than her twin? In your case, your twin might be too bossy and the other might be too dependent on her but this is a different one because the three are not shy or too dependent on their 2 sisters, they just simply don't know the answer. I have been a fan of this family for so long...I see them teaching their children and asking them questions and all 5 participate, engaged and thrilled in answering questions. People should stop disregarding the two quints learning abilities. They advanced on a class because they are fast learners. Nuff said.

Yes they have been leaders for quite some time, that's what the teacher said. No need to stuck the two fast learners in that class when they are already ready for an advanced class. By transferring the two to an advanced class, they have more freedom and opportunities to learn more new stuffs.
The younger they get splint the better otherwise they could become dependant on one another and that is not healthy every child's needs to learn to navigate the world on their own

Okay you can be in the same class and still be independent. My best friends are identical twins and was in the same exact classes nursery school to college. Litterally same classes and everything and they are still independent. They actually barely even talk to each other
BookishEliza that is rare though. There is always exceptions to every case and your friends are clearly the exception. There is a reason many places opt to separate multiples once they begin school.

My mom always had my sister and I together but we were a year apart not twins. There’s one time that I really remember that they wanted to separate us but we were so upset because we were always together in things. They wanted her to be in this room with other people and because I was older they wanted me to go in the other room. If we weren’t always together like that things would’ve probably gone differently
I agree...this is a good time to start letting them be apart some of the day...My identical twin grandgirls were together at home until pre-k at almost 5 years old { Sept. babies with Sept. 1st being the cut off } my daughter chose to put them in separate classrooms form the beginning, they were young and never questioned it, they thought that's how school is...they were apart until they switched school districts before 7th grade. They ended up having lots of classes together for the 1st time...One twin loves it and the other would rather have her own classes...I think the starting them out separate was great because they get to be themselves and not compared as much...we also didn't do the always matching outfits either...and now they dress completely different because they got to chose how they wanted to look...

Right?? And I love it because with the withdrawn/shy personality Parker has, normally those type of personalities are overlooked in society. I love that they’re recognizing Parker’s leadership skills and academic intelligence despite her anxieties.
@@ginniekinz5401 now that they are in kindergarten though and ik Parker is super smart but cuz of her anxiety she scored the lowest for the kindergarten class. It doenst matter though she's as smart as Riley and if she gets better at the anxiety thing she's gonna make big things

YES EXACTLY. I keep seeing comments range from saying Riley is prettier and just stuff and I agree. All the quint's are gorgeous but we can't compare because they'll grow up seeing it and maybe these comments are a factor of developing self esteem issues and comparing themselves to the other girls

Just like potty training and everything else, they each develop at their own pace. you got to let them spread their wings.
Omg! Not at three years old!!! They have enough time ahead to spread their wings when they really need it. Just now they´re fast toddlers, why is it more important to focus on their differences than on the things they have in common? I have seen many identical twins who have spent all their school years together and each couple of them are normal individuals who lead happy lives with their own families. On top of that, they have an excellent relationship with each other. But no one got traumatised whatsoever. Teachers recommend splitting twins just because it´s easier for them to handle individuals as multiples.

@@skylights5824 I wish someone would provide evidence from the show or the videos that Parker is bossy. Never seen it tbh. I DO recall however how quickly and perfectly she cracked the egg AND how remarkably better she colored ---with all the colors inside the lines. Compare Parker's abilities to others her age and it's obvious that bossiness isn't a factor at all. As for Riley, her smarts have been obvious forever because Riley has so 'out there' a personality.

That is like a Montessori school, where kids move at their own pace. I’m glad the teacher recommended moving Riley and Parker into a more advanced class. As a retired teacher, I would have done as the teacher did. There is no need for Riley and Parker to get bored just so they can be with their sisters, and we can’t forget that there are other kids in that class. The teacher was considering their needs as well. Good for her!

Riley is MY FAV SHE'S THE CUTEST
Riley and Parker, the smartest, prettiest and best named. And they seem like they have the closest bond, they're always together, holding hands and playing together. Out of all the girls, they seem to be closer to each other than they are to anybody else, except Adam. It will be sweet, because this way, they get to be themselves, and express themselves differently, when they're not around their sisters. And I don't think they will feel lonely because they have eachother. It made me mad though, when they thought the girls were getting in trouble, especially Riley. She's just mishcievous, she's not mean though.
Rebecca Gomprecht i think it was a wrong idea to call riley as naughty quint when they were first introduced. Now that's what people always thought of her "riley the naughty one" when in fact she's as sweet as her sisters.
I agree with you ...and think it is especially cute because they are so different in their personalities: Riri is outgoing; Parker is the lone introvert. Riley is full-speed-ahead on life; Parker, cautious. Riley is fearless; Parker, by nature exceedingly high-strung. Riley SEEMS most self-centered; Parker most quietly 'giving', unselfish and low-maintenance of the quints. Although we've seen them occasionally arguing, Riley is forward and aggressive; Parker, even though biggest and strongest, never takes advantage and never bullies, either physically or by screaming demands that her parents take her side. Also, recall how, on BOTH dental visits we saw, Riley was SO concerned for Parker's cries.
If you ask me Riley, did not look too impressed being taken from her sisters ,her little face ,when the others went to their classroom , bless her !!

Notice how Parker is much better separating from the others HERE when she is with RILEY than when she is older and switched over to be with Lulu instead? And how totally lost LULU looked when Danielle did 'separate birthday dates', and AVA was nowhere to be seen?
Adam busby has issues with changes in life. He needs to work through that bc with 6 little girls they will all have many changes throughout their life that their parents need to be ready to help them though . Considering the multiple kid shows on tlc over the years these parents are amazing

I think this is wonderful! I'm an identical twin and our parents made sure to put us in a pre-school; in all learning settings where we would be treated as individuals by our teachers. I especially remember being 5 years old in swimming class and I could already do everything required for that level of swimming and more. The head coach asked my mom if it was okay to move just me up two levels and of course my mom said yes. It was so exciting for me and it didn't upset my sister at all she was just happy to be excelling in her own class. These aren't easy decisions to make when you have multiples but they're the most important ones because they show your children you truly care about them as individuals.
