In the situation of a turtle on the road, there is no good option. Touching them can kill them even if you only touch the shell with your fingertips and are super careful, we are that toxic to them. They have instincts that drive them to go certain ways but when you pick them up that completely disorients them. They don’t have magic radar powers. Assuming all of those mistakes go well, you’ve just traumatized a pregnant turtle looking to lay eggs. It will now rush to lay those eggs as soon as possible instead of searching out a place to lay them. Why the fuck else would a turtle be walking across the road? Sorry if I seem super critical but I think we all like turtles. They represent a lot of unspoken things humans observe about nature.

This Spot is well know for people cutting every possible corner and Also Falling off AT the side of the road. Pls excuse missspelling,cant figuer out how to deaktivate autokorekt on this phone, its Set to german. This strret goes 5km and takes ages to get through🤣
If you find a turtle pick it up and go towards the way the turtle was going and set them at least 7 feet back from the pavement. If not the turtle will turn right back around and walk right back into the middle of the road so always put the turtle where’s the turtle is headed or pointed. 3 feet from the pavement is not enough room

1:28 Hey riders here's a friendly tip... when car drivers check their mirror and see you back there they are NOT taking into account that you are travelling twice or three times the speed of traffic around them. At a glance they assume you are travelling at roughly the same speed that they are and (wrongfully) assume they have lots of time to change lanes without crashing into you. If you slow down you will avoid an accident, especially if you are lane filtering.
It's not that difficult to continue to occasionally check your mirrors. I check mine constantly. It's very easy to tell how fast something is coming up behind you. The ones that don't look are the problem.

Yes, most are too fast. Splitter Miguel 1:22 is in CA and he wasn't violating any law. If they collided it would have been the woman's fault. She doesn't need eyes in back of her head, using the rear view mirror or looking over your shoulder works too. Further, if she was alone, she shouldn't even be entering the HOV lane.

Too many motherfuckers cause problems by gunning the engine and trying to slip into a gap That another vehicle was very predictably going to try and move into. Then they get butt hurt because they're almost pancaked by a guy who's trying not to rear end the vehicle in front of him While trying to make a perfectly reasonable and safe lane shift.

I found a turtle on a road south of Brisbane once. Picked him up to move him and he gushed liquid. I thought it was a heap of blood as if he was dead, but I think he pissed himself massively. Checked on him later and he had reached some water.
Well even after watching a ton of these videos and having a few close calls on my e-bike(got a couple clips to send you) I still decided I wanted a motorcycle and have purchased my first bike. 2000 Yamaha V star 650 custom.
You know a lot if these crashes and near misses would not happen if they slowed down for the conditions and other traffic ,,,,,,,,,, lets ride responsibly !

Anyone who sees a turtle crossing the road and want to help it. Bring it the direction it was traveling. They we turn around and head back towards the road if you don't.

I found a turtle on a road south of Brisbane once. Picked him up to move him and he gushed liquid. I thought it was a heap of blood as if he was dead, but I think he pissed himself massively. Checked on him later and he had reached some water.
