7:37 Honestly Daemon, if i was driving that car, i would have no clue that you changed two lanes, no indication (you shoulder checked which is nice), but then again, you didnt use your hand or signals (i assume your signals dont work cause you use your hand) to show your intention to change two lanes at once. The car also didnt use their signals yes, but they might have checked their mirrors and shoulder, and they saw you in the right lane, and bc they didnt see anyone changing lanes or coming from the back they just changed lanes, also even with the "it was closer than it looks" stuff, you were quite the distance away, and also you didnt have that much speed over them. I think you both were in the wrong, and it wasnt really as dangerous of a situation that you make it to be.

And even in California you can only lane filter in stop and go traffic, under 35mph and can't go faster than the speed of traffic by 10mph. @@UnknownRider An aftermarket horn is the first thing I would do if I had a squeaky horn. Fortunarely, I ride a royal enfield, and those horns are substantial (as they should be, stock). But even a squeaky horn is quick, easy to do, and gets the message across. Even as a rider, if I were in my car, I wouldn't necessarily equate a revving engine with someone trying to tell me something, because motorcyclists (including myself) rev their engines pretty regularly, but any kind of horn is an obvious "Hey, fucking pay attention!"

I'm hopefully getting my first bike soon. It's an 18 road king that used to be my dad's he sold it to a friend who passed recently and we are going to talk to his wife about the bike since she can't ride. Both my father and I would love for it to stay in the family.
I completely agree Daemon is a really bad rider, BUT engine braking is for slow and gradual stops, It doesnt have much to add in an emergency braking situation. Using your brakes is gonna give you plenty of stopping power if you are using them correctly.
@@JohnsysChannel True but it stops the bike from stalling and helps you downshift. If you emergency brake in for example 5th gear that bike is dead fast and ur bike is in 5th gear. If you pull in the clutch not only can you avoid stalling but also downshift in case you need to accelerate. Sometimes just because you stopped in time doesnt mean the emergency situation is over.
@@JoaoMPSilva13 Yeah, I do work my way down the gears, but I don't just hold the clutch in unless necessary (stalling) My bikes only a small one, so you really need to drop down the gears quickly, as it struggles to pull away in higher gears.

Some of these clips looks like bikers feel like they own the lane, nobody should dare to take it in 200 meters in front of them. Why does almost nobody use their horn? [Edit: except for Daemon, but he doesnt count.] Drivers don't immediately understand the meaning behind an engine revving. Honking your horn is so much more effective.
Motorcycle horns are so sad, quiet, and squeaky. Depending on the bike and exhaust, revving can be louder
@@UnknownRider An aftermarket horn is the first thing I would do if I had a squeaky horn. Fortunarely, I ride a royal enfield, and those horns are substantial (as they should be, stock).
But even a squeaky horn is quick, easy to do, and gets the message across.
Even as a rider, if I were in my car, I wouldn't necessarily equate a revving engine with someone trying to tell me something, because motorcyclists (including myself) rev their engines pretty regularly, but any kind of horn is an obvious "Hey, fucking pay attention!"

Daemon Rider needs to stop pulling in his clutch lever when he needs to brake quickly. The engine braking will help tremendously.

I completely agree Daemon is a really bad rider, BUT engine braking is for slow and gradual stops, It doesnt have much to add in an emergency braking situation. Using your brakes is gonna give you plenty of stopping power if you are using them correctly.
@@JoaoMPSilva13 I agree, it's better to use the engine for gradual braking, but pulling in the clutch doesn't add to helping to brake either.
@@JohnsysChannel True but it stops the bike from stalling and helps you downshift. If you emergency brake in for example 5th gear that bike is dead fast and ur bike is in 5th gear. If you pull in the clutch not only can you avoid stalling but also downshift in case you need to accelerate. Sometimes just because you stopped in time doesnt mean the emergency situation is over.
@@JoaoMPSilva13 Yeah, I do work my way down the gears, but I don't just hold the clutch in unless necessary (stalling) My bikes only a small one, so you really need to drop down the gears quickly, as it struggles to pull away in higher gears.
