It used to be all about the watches, now you have Roman spending $9k on junk so he can tell everyone he's a rightwing nationalist and Paul Thorpe has turned his entire Chanel into a shouty, rightwing, culture war baiting horror show. I guess there's going to be a migration of non political watch enthusiasts away from these guys, and a new audience of rightwing nationalist, culture warriors finding their way to them instead. I’ve been such a fan of Roman’s for years now. I saw a story on the news that he bid $9k (and won) a pair of Donald Trump sneakers(!!!) How someone who has seemed as level-headed and intelligent as Roman could be such a fan of Donald Trump, is mystifying, and so disappointing to me. He exclaimed “The only president I recognized the last four years.” Everyone has a right to their own opinions and choices in presidents, of course. I have such a distaste for Trump. He’s a dangerous, lying criminal conman who only cares about himself and his family. How Roman buys into Trump’s universe astounds me. I’m unfollowing someone I so much enjoyed listening to and learning from over the years. My loss. But I don’t trust Roman’s judgement.
He has made it clear in previous videos that he's a conservative in his politics. So it is not shocking that he's a MAGA guy

I really loved the Bovet, that is a great looking watch.
As for what I would like to see, although I know it wouldn't happen, is Rolex turning one of their references into an open work skeleton, highly decorated, or even a reference with a decorated dial and open back with a decorated movement.
