Looks great! Some ideas for more exhibits should you decide to add another floor: ancient Egypt (with mummies!), armor and weaponry, ancient Rome. You could also add more dinosaur skeletons, a space suit and "climb-in" lunar module or mock space shuttle cockpit. Lots of cool potential here. Looking forward to seeing this placed and maybe expanded in the future.
That would be so cool! I'd love to see him do that
This is an awesome model. Will you double it? Triple it? You need two extra stories on at least three MILS plates. 😂
Its already massive
Oh, yes, of course. I was joking.
@@PhilippeLacoudeI honestly think he will 😅
That is a great set. The best part is you can change the exhibits in it. Like you could set up as a history of your city.
Some people are really hating on the color, but I love it. Will definitely add it to my city once budget allows! 😄
Love it. This is actually going to be the first modular I buy. Can't wait for it to arrive early december. 😁
Can’t wait to build! Just got it today. Adding it to my mini marvel modular city
Love the olive colour! Looks like an awesome modular
Great building. Awesome design and interesting build techniques all around and inside.
Thank you for the review. I am excited to build mine.
I’m a History Major and I need this set for my modular collection! Thank you for the video!
LOVE IT !!!
Can’t wait for mine to arrive. Something to build during my Christmas break.
Thanks for sharing can’t wait to see you double it !
Love it. At least it is a complete building not an open back. Love the details.tfs
For some reason all I can think of now is that the Friends Botanical Garden would look amazing across the street from this.
Been waiting for this vlog! Thanks for posting Bricksie!
I think the set is great but it could almost use a 3rd floor addition!
this looks awesome!
Thanks for the video! The set looks great :)
Can't wait to see your double of this one ;)
Love the new museum
awesome video jordan i cant wait to build my museum when i get it
I love the look of this set! The olive green actually lsnt over powering. All the mini builds look great and wre pretty accurate to what they are depicting. Can't wait for it's release!
It's awesome and a lot of cool.brick work but it needs another floor or two. What needs to be added is Islanders, Calvary, the castle sets... Oh man this could be like 8 floors 😂
I didn't even think of those! I'm so torn by that, we could add samurai, Egypt, Ancient Rome, cavemen, et. but I can't have this rivaling the daily bugle in height 😂
Incredible. I want it!
Suggestion for city. What does every city have? A "Post Office", I don't recall you having one. Might be a good addition..
I think he might have had one of his pet shops as a post office at one time
I really like this. I'm genuinely excited for this. Just wish it was coming in January because I have been budgeting for that.
I'm planning to wait and hoping that the GWP for this set will be available in January and not February like last year.
Love it. I do agree that it could us a few more displays (mini builds); amybe 2 more figures too.
Fantastic set awsome review
I really like this set great review
Been wathcing you for some time now, and I enjoyed every video you have posted
Man I want to customize this so bad! Really don't want to pack in the two floors, but samurai displays and an Egypt wing knight displays and coats of arms, or some references to Johnny Thunder or Power Miners, it would just bring the vibrance I feel the interiors need
It looks so amazing I would not mind to have this Lego set 😊❤
Great build, love it. If I’m being overly critical of this set I would say, i don’t care for the cherry blossom tree. IMO it kinda makes the set look cartoony, otherwise its amazing. Love the content Bricksie
awesome set but im more excited about getting all those olive coloured pieces than I am for the set itself lol. Looks rad tho love the story behind the set!
I like to sort the bags and lay them out in order from highest number to lowest on the couch so they are easy to grab when I need them. I work on a coffee table, so the bags are right next to me. I was disappointed to find that they did not show the stages of the build with the bag numbers used at the beginning of the book to know what the highest number bag was. Other buildings in this series show that. I have all 19 buildings of this series that started out as Creator Expert, and now Icons.
Great review as always... I love all of the stories and displays inside. That being said the olive green outside color is nice and unique but there is just too much of it in my opinion. Like some of the modular's ... until I see it built when I go to a LEGO store I'll know then if its an add to my collection or not. Be safe and well!
Make Rock n roller coaster next video
You need the open space to accommodate the crowds or a school excursion that will visit.
If they only had included more minifigs so you can fill those empty spots with minifigs. I feels so empty when you have this on your own... Hope it will be discounted at the end of the next year.
Looks like it is a very mocable building so I will enjoy playing around with new exhibits and maybe a 3rd floor! Can I justify buying two on day one????
I liked this, of course.. but when I saw that amethyst..... OMG I MUST HAVE!!! No, I'm not into crystals as such, but I'd actually been considering buying a few amethyst pieces just like this.. so it was a sign!!
Wow!! That set looks really cool, but I will probably not pick it up.
Great video again mate. Looks awesome set. Only thing I would like to ask for next speed build video you do, is please don't wear white if possible (half way through video). Unfortunately my daughter had to stop watching it due to sensory Overload with the white flashing (Autistic). But please keep the amazing videos coming.
This is a very nice set.
Awesome set
I'm not sure about the color. I think the main color should have been light nougat with white and maybe other colors as accents
Its awesome that it fills up the whole baseplate for the first time in a while
IMO the dinosaur takes up too much space, I would probably replace it with something else
That's the beauty of the set though, its perfect to customize.
waiting for you to double it!
what a cool modular but im still waiting for the hospital my citicens are getting sick...
Can’t wait to get this one!! Quick unrelated question-how did you mount your Galaxy Explorer?? (The two piece build reminded me)
For me, I don't mind the olive green in itself, but I don't like the contrast of the olive green against the colourful banners. Wondering if it'd look better without the banners maybe?
Looks great I think it should be a little taller though! It kinda looks off with sets like the police station…
If you double it you should add unique exhibits that are Lego related
I preordered this set, and waited till the 1st of Nov. for GWP Tribute to Galileo. If ordered before that date, there is no GWP.
Hey man that looks as the london natural history museum
I've been thinking about this since the set leaked last year but i eventually want to make my museum 2 baseplates deep with 2 different sets. It would have an entrance on each side and it will go between 2 different roads in my city. Do you have plans to upgrade yours like your other buildings when you get back to the city in the warehouse? If so, what do you think of thay idea?
Agree to much wasted open interior space. Bricksie possible to let us know the camera u used to film this review ? i liked the results. Thnks
Out of curiosity, what's the number on the back of the instructions? I've been tracking and they seem to go up by a certain number each time and I want to see if I'm right?
it needs another floor for more exhibits.
these are my complaints, the banners in front of the windows annoy me because its blocking a view into the build( I altered mine so they hang on the pillars) and over all I want the tiling on the ground floor to include more jump plates so we aren't limited on the placement of " permanent" minifigures
when's the placing?
So… i like it, don’t love it… and not to sure about the olive green façade though 😅 but define would like to see it double or triple it with more interesting exhibitions, maybe art gallery, more mummies etc…
I love it, but I need money! 😭
Are you gonna put it in the city? And if you do, where?
You are a Lego building machine!
Should I get it from lego or wait for 3rd party sellers?
I think the stone statues on the outside represent Sir Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin, I suppose one related to physics and the planets part of the second floor, and the dinosaurs referring to the first floor and the dinosaurs, I don't know if it's on purpose, but they are them in my opinion
This could act as a setting for Critical Role's Candela Obscura with the museum acting as a base of operations to some investigators
Slightly turbo nerdy question about the piece count but where does it sit on the list of all the Lego Icons sets we've had this year. I know its not top because that's The Lord of the Rings Rivendell
Making this 48 studs wide was a misstep, IMO. Would love to see an alternate build of this that converts it into a more "urban" museum that sits on a single 32-stud baseplate and has a third story.
Absolutely, make it 32 studs, the rooms narrower, take away the "extra" rooms in the back of the reception and make it a hallway with some exhibit pieces and give it another floor of exhibits. Also make the back less ugly
Love your channel, fun and simple but I really wish that when you get a set FREE from Lego, you don't mention how expensive they are. Half your collection was provided by Lego, free of charge. Us normal folks actually have to pay for this stuff. The building is great but I agree with some others. A third floor is needed. I also am not a fan of the olive. It looks too much like a house/haunted mansion. Nothing like a museum. It should have been all white, grey, light grey or some variant thereof. The statue placement out front is very odd. Why in front of the windows? The window washer on a 2 story building?? Nice set, just seems really off in those aspects.
I should talk about prices because it is a review, although I don't linger on the subject. I have committed my working career to LEGO - that is why I get "free" sets - all "normal folk" could do the same.
@@Bricksie Thanks! I apologize, I was not trying to be rude and it's hard to emote by text. Appreciate the reply and keep up the great videos! :)
Why is it called mills plate, can anyone share??
Modular Integrated Landscaping System
It’s kinda weird that the review embargo and official unveil are so early, have they changed their policy?
It’s releasing in December instead of January .
@@fernwright7737 it does? Oh then it makes sense, thanks!
Yeah, it's already up for pre-order
@nice to have a museum. But it’s too empty for the size and price.
It's Lego of course I love it, but for me, it's missing gargoyles for decorations to be a museum 😊
Question: how many shades of dark tan does your set have? Premium quality? Well NOOOO
NO MUMMY 😮 TOO SAD
I will definitely be incorporating some of my Indiana Jones stuff into the museum (will swap out most of the second floor's exhibits). After all... "It belongs in a museum!" 😉
Concorde is better, and the best set of 2023
It's a nice big set, but the price will keep me from buying it.
Um way to much baby poo olive 🌈🫒
first
😂
First
Am I the only one my one that has a problem with the cherry blossom tree staying put ?
This set disappointed me. The design of the facade does not exactly look like something in the classical style of the museum. The color scheme also raises questions. But perhaps the biggest disappointment was the contents inside. From the name Natural History Museum, I was expecting a real museum of nature, with skeletons, stands with minifigures of animals and plants. what's the result? - one brachiosaurus, a reference to the skull and fossil of an ammonite. Half a floor of the universe, rockets, etc. and a room with historical eras of man. Is this really a museum of nature, not history, or just a museum? Why then was it necessary to give such a name to the set? But it would be a great idea to make a modular planetarium in the future, where these models of the solar system and rockets would be much more appropriate.
