🔴Have you experienced any of these issues with your own vehicle?🤔 🏆6 Reasons why you should avoid Chevy Colorado WATCH HERE 👉 ruclips.net/video/UjmCj2VfpYw/видео.html
Lack of turbo engine is exactly why I'm considering this truck. Plus its tried and true performance may see many more off-road miles than the competition.
Sorry, dude you got it all wrong. The simplicity and low tech makes a vehicle, more reliable when it comes to repair. Although one of the downsides of this frontier is that they don’t offer a manual transmission anymore that can go for ever and ever, and we all know that Toyota has been great product for many years but recently with there new Tacoma‘s and tundras they’re going downhill fast they need to do something quick about their poor quality control.
All the "downsides" he mentioned ARE what makes the Nissan frontier more desirable than the competition. These are the reasons the frontier IS more reliable and desirable because it's built on a proven reliable platform and without the bells and whistles that people who love trucks don't care about.
If that was true why are they not taking more market share. To be frank they can't even take there fair share of the market. Yes you may have bought it for certain reasons and that's okay to think others think that way is incorrect. Numbers don't lie and the numbers are not reflecting that scenario.
@@HuronRiver-ke8xn simple answer is because people are stupid. Most people buy cars because it's the brand their parents drove. For example A Toyota person is never going to admit s frontier is a better deal and value/reliability
@@OrlandoOsuna I disagree, consumers are getting more educated and shopping value not just price. Case in point when Toyota started selling them along with Nissan they pulled buyers from the established big 3 American automakers. The only issue is probably 70 or 90 percent are probably still impulsive buyers. Also with either brand having years of sales or brand loyalty that number would normally suggest increased sales and marketplace, not loss of sales. Unless of course like a recession and loss of sales across the board with all manufacturers.
@@HuronRiver-ke8xn you basically are saying what I said...most are impulsive buyers..how do you explain people buying Ford's and rams? They are not the most reliable vehicles out there and they are the best selling vehicles.
Old platform has its advantages, if it aint broke don't fix it. Turbo is NOT a good thing in a gasoline engine, the V6 will last far longer. Hybrid ads complexity that's not needed and will reduce durability. The Frontier tows up to 6700 pounds...the king of midsize, the Tacoma, is less than that with its turbo crap motor...puhleez...next! As for fuel mileage....there's nothing to complain about here. Trim levels...there's enough for crap sakes...what a stupid complaint. Outdated you say...I'd rather have reliable...tech means very little to me....give us better prices instead and save the tech. This video gets a thumbs down due to being full of crap. It sounds like a government speaking platform. Enough said.
Love my 2022 frontier. My 2009 went to 150K before it was totaled and ZERO squeaks. Colorado 5 years newer half the miles my company bought was a rattletrap. Frontier has a Bulletproof engine. Who cares if it doesn’t follow the newest styles or tech. That’s not why I bought it.
I don’t see none of this problem on this Frontier , it’s been a bulletproof truck for the past 20 years like he said, non turbo engines are really good fir the frontier, not many buyers like to have a 4 cylinder turbo on the medium side , pickup trucks, stupid comments on all this .
turbos are engine destroyers, avoid turbos. look at new upgraded trucks, Tacoma, Colorado, Ranger and bronco problem plagued. at work our 2024 F150 with v6 Turbos has had its turbo replaced at 5800 miles. and other engine issues
I still have my 03 frontier. Manual everything: transmission, doors, windows. Still kicking at 286k miles Had to put a new engine (all due to improper care on my end back when I didn't know how to care for a vehicle, smh)
My Frontier is one of the best vehicles Ive had. I don't want turbo. If you want a mid size truck that will run with no issues, the Frontier is the way to go. I don;t want turbo, hybrid, etc..
Did GM sponsor this video? lol These are exactly the reasons why I actually am going to buy a Nissan Frontier. Hope Nissan continues to keep it conservative! To me it's the last true truck left.
Many of the small turbo augmented engines seem to have issues with the turbos letting go between 75 and 125k miles. And issues with the extra pressure causing additional wear and tear to the long block.
Great platform. Dated? Timewise yes but it's reliable. Why change what's working great. The new 2025 looks great. The turbos are junk . Lifespan sucks. Good old 6cyl. on tap. Perfect . Screw hybrid ..more electrical and battery issues. I'm not towing over 4000lbs ..perfect. Thank you for the great insight on the Frontier. I'm buying one . Not into buying a severely overpriced Taco.
You know nothing about cars, this truck would be my number one choice for the midsize segment for exactly the reasons you are listing to avoid: reliable platform, reliable engine, and nice styling to boot!
Worst case argument ever. A proven truck body on frame is a modern classic. Not everyone wants a turbo pounding air into a 4 cylinder engine all the time. Some people prefer a motor that can handle the workload without additional strain and high temps and cooked oil. Last year v6 tacos wouldn’t stay on the lot for more than 3 days, our local dealer’s lot today is packed with stuff people don’t want.🤷♂️
Great video. The old saying you snooze you loose comes to mind. Nissan makes a good truck but it lacks other manufacturer models improvements. Numbers dont lie, and the number on market share clearly shows this. Im surprised he didn't comment on the lack of leg and head room comparec to other competitive models. Have any of you tried getting in, riding and getting out the back seat? I have again the numbers dont lie. Yes vehicles are expensive but at least other manufacturers are reinvesting that money into their products. Offering them with more power at lower RPMs, better fuel economy making it less expensive on ownership, increasing payload and towing capabilities making them more useful. Nissan has been taking the money and laughing all the way to the bank. Im glad this video calls them out. I just hope Nissan looks at this and there sales numbers and finally does something that can improve both issues

Nope 😉
lack of a turbo is NOT a problem
Buying one tomorrow 😜 rather have a V6 than a turbo motor
Let’s see which one is still running at 150K
Lack of turbo engine is exactly why I'm considering this truck. Plus its tried and true performance may see many more off-road miles than the competition.

I have a 2022 frontier that's been great
All the "downsides" he mentioned ARE what makes the Nissan frontier more desirable than the competition. These are the reasons the frontier IS more reliable and desirable because it's built on a proven reliable platform and without the bells and whistles that people who love trucks don't care about.
Was thinking the same thing. I just bought a 2020 just because of its retro styling and basic interior. Its a truck for people who want a truck

Everything you said was a downsize is a upside for me. I wish it didnt even have a touch screen nothing. I want a car not a driving computer crap box
So the complaint is that it's a body-on-frane truck with a V6 instead of a four cylinder turbo. 😅
Less is best for reliability and that's a known fact that people can have peace of mind with😊 tried and true also.

Had a 22 now a 24 pro4x, never had a issue with the truck. Plenty of power, it's comfortable on long drives. Tows my boat just fine

This artical needs all the facts displayed. BTW, toyota is not selling as many 4 cyl turbo's (tacoma)
Bought a 2022 pro 4x. Now have 45000 on it . Zero issues. Beautiful comfy truck. Lots of power. Reviewer is full of hot air.

Agreed, i would rather have a naturally aspirated v6 that will last a lot longer than a turbo 4
You just unknowingly pointed out the Frontier's greatness .
This video just came off as a joke, not a nissan person, love toyotas. But this guy compared this truck to unreliable models from other makers.

Your Information is incorrect for the most part and the features it does have are by design. Its not a toy.

there are more reasons not to believe this channel, lol! 2005 V6 4.0 160K miles is what i have. this guy is just fishing for comments, lol!
Many of the small turbo augmented engines seem to have issues with the turbos letting go between 75 and 125k miles. And issues with the extra pressure causing additional wear and tear to the long block.

I don’t need any technology, no need of turbo, I wish they could offer a manual transmission, just a basic reliable truck that last for ever
You know nothing about cars, this truck would be my number one choice for the midsize segment for exactly the reasons you are listing to avoid: reliable platform, reliable engine, and nice styling to boot!
I wonder how big the check you got from toyota was, since their engines and transmissions are grenading.
El comentarista no debe saber lo que dice !
Cost of ownership. Nissan blows the competition out of the water by a long shot. The old Tacoma would be the same with cost of ownership
That truck will outlast any outher make and model of truck on the road
Worst case argument ever. A proven truck body on frame is a modern classic. Not everyone wants a turbo pounding air into a 4 cylinder engine all the time. You dont need a turbo with a 3.8v6 310 horsepower. That turbo is gonna shit the bed good luck
no turbo is 100% the opposite of not to buy
2:03 you say it like it's a bad thing
you feeling ok bud!
Total B/S

This video is sponsored by Toyota because of the falling sales of the Tacoma.
This guy sounds like a Californian who doesn’t know anything about anything talking about cars like he’s an expert in the consumers opinion
Who paid this guy to shoot down this truck. The Toyota 4 runner is a non turbo. Probably the pinnacle of reliability. Terrible video
Wonder how much Toyota paid to put out this video. Lol.
This video was made by a bunch of mad Toyota fanboys
