I think you've successfully accomplished conveying a genuine Blighttown experience to the viewer. The purple meter is when you're accumulating poison (but not yet poisoned.) When that meter is full, you actually get poisoned and start taking damage (the meter turns yellow.) You can make the accumulation meter longer by wearing gear with good poison resistance. What you're wearing now (Shadow gear) is pretty good for that. May be you could consider reinforcing your bow a bit too when you have the opportunity. The damage is a bit low XD I love your giggles (especially when you head-shot something hehehe.) Looking forward to the next episode :)
I think you got what is most important in the blighttown so you don't need to worry about returning there ;) Also two things you may want to know, opposite of quelag there is a chest on the tree which hides something and then something more but do not go there before getting bowl, getting out of there is a pain and you experience it enough. Second, when going to the quelag on the left, there are 2 guys throwing rocks. They protect "great" weapon ;)
