I’m a Jims Mowing guy and like for obsessed perfect lawn bowl cut or golf green finish which also reflects on your awesome work on your cars. I appreciate the time and effort that is put into BOSSXC and love watching the talents of yourself and Simon Judd. I have a LX Torana and also like the classy modern look given to this classic car (my mum had one of these in green we called it the tank)even though I’m a HOLDEN man. Enjoying your show cheers 👍🏻
Its great to see what you can do with some fairly simple tools and a well set up shed. Been following your builds since Rock 3 when I dragged my dad along to Summernats. Just shows that you don't need years of training and fancy tools. Just patience and perseverance. Love the content you put up too. Real tips and techniques instead of just a collage of the car in various stages.
Think you have made the right decision, if you rush it no doubt you will kick yourself. I’m not going anywhere mate, here for the long haul. Lawn is looking good. Also really enjoying the tool tour.
Beaut episode mate, loving the extras and how committed you are to your lawn even in the rain. Looking forward to your filming of Summernats and definitely be hanging around for the mighty XC. 😎👍
Great vid Howard 👍👌 i like seeing what sort of tools you use & what can be utilized , did you think about using the fg boot hinges with the struts , as long as you put vids out ill watch 👍
Im loving the channel mate. Its like sitting in on a street machining course. I learn so much. Shame about not making the nats, but i think Motorex is a higher quality event for our sport anyway.
It was always going to be a big deadline with where the car was at, infact I called it a few weeks ago. Motor Ex is a fantastic event that continues to get bigger and better every year. Looking forward to continue supporting your channel and future projects Howard. 👍
I told my wife I had to fly to Canberra to see the “boss XC” finished at Summernats...... how am I going to convince her I now need to go to Melbourne as well? Ur killing me😁
howard how much money does it cost to build something like boss xc concidering the amount of hours alone i’m just curious could u tell me a ball park price
@@AstillDesign Might have to make the trip down to Motor Ex next year. My mate usually has a Mad Max Exibition. He owns MFP Garage. That builds replica/tribute Mad Max cars.
Hi Howard. Quick question. I have an XA sedan. Replaced the fuel tank, so had to redo the sender unit. Bought a new neoprene seal for it. Leaked, pulled it out and redid the position of it, it sealed. But now occasionally weeps a bit of fuel out. Any tips? Cheers mate.
They are a pain, sometimes the repo seals aren't the best. I have used some rubber grease so the seal doesn't twist when the lock ring turns. also make sure the lock ring is all the way around
We all on here feel the disappointment of not getting to see BOSSXC in person after following this amazing and technical build. The delay will be worth it to make it the car you always meant it to be. I will be there in a XE ESP and I’m still wearing my BOSSXC T proudly. Some good tips on lawn care too and it’s looking almost artificial it’s that perfect. More reason to book for Motorex now.
Just want to say thanks and fantastic that the channel is going forward. Have you thought about Patreon? I’d be happy to pay $1 an episode - good value as I learn something every episode!
Mate , glad you blokes are putting out good quality stuff. Always keen to watch, even though I'm not into show cars. I'm a backyarder like most people. There's no need to put everyone under pressure to meet a deadline. It's like those american tv shows, with all the wank factor. It's just annoying. Quality over quantity always wins. Cheers.
Great content Howard love it , what tracks or roller traks have u got on the roof of ur booth I'm looking at doing the same thing also love to know how u set it up cheers mate

Well dang, the show will need renaming now. Being on the road to the Summernats is what got me in, it was an interesting journey…it’s a shame the deadline wasn’t workable. I wonder if the time needed for the RUclips channel has eaten into the work time. Maybe could rally the troops to meet the target. Anyway, all the best.
I just knew you where not going to finish it in time to much work for one person and besides there always next time , You made the right choice ,Or should i say your team made the right choice As there's only four people, You the trimmer the auto election and Owner . But you kept everyone on the edge of there seats , LOL ....
The biggest thing you have to do is come to terms with being realistic... The pressure makes it not enjoyable. As viewers we wish to see many many more episodes in the future. PS, if you planted fake turf you might have made it to summer nats. lol.
I will be honest. I am disappointed. I think you could still make summernats. As summernats is my hometown show I was looking forward to the car being there. I have my shirts ready to go. Not happy Jan.
This channel is tip top. Come for the cars, stay for the grass
👌
Glad you enjoy it!
I must say your production value has improved in leaps and bounds mate and I wish you much success with the new lifestyle channel!

Thanks Steven. I have found over the years that boot hinges are a can of worms so stuck with the factory setup.
@@AstillDesign that's fair enough and factory ones work well 😁👍
I was a bit worried you were going to have to rush it to finish in time, you made the right decision to delay it.
Thanks mate.
Great update on the xc mate🖒

Thanks Mick
