This was my first RC that I bought since I was a kid, decent one to mess around with and brushless swap. Also got a JJRC version that I BL swapped, I should've just went to a different platform, but I thought maybe if I were to let someone else drive one or something. It's slipper clutch doesn't tend to hold up though.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC I'm almost confident they fix. But not sure the performance is the same. But it's fun to try different. 12 mm should be ok with the hub on the axle.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Cheers mate. Just bought a broken 12427 to get back into RC after being away for a while. You've done some great vids on these. Keep up the top work.📌

I made mine into oil shocks. Teflon tape on shock cap and o-rings in the bottom caps. Going on strong 2 years!
awesome I really like that they match the 12427 perfectly.
Yeah they look good on this RC desert buggy, cheers Dan
Cheers brother, wow nice with the grease and tires. Handles much better. Nice on showing how to glue tires for those who are new. Take care brother
Thanks for watching Donnie
I like the look of these! The wider contact seems to definitely improve its handling! This has always been a fun rc platform!💯👍🏻👊🏼
Yes these tyres being a softer compound have good grip, thanks Robby
Looking very sporty. Great alternative for not so hard terrain to get more speed
Thanks Dirk, I'm pretty happy with the looks and performance of these wheels & tyres
Smaller diameter tires will give ya more torque and less speed, but better control of course being wider - but u may already know all that lol
Nice one bro! It looks great, a lot better with those wheels. It seems like it handles better too👍🏽
Yeah these tyres and wheels are great for the price, they have good grip. Thanks for stopping by brother 👍

Thanks mate 👍
Such a great truck.
You bet, thanks for watching mate 👍
I have an s max. The hubs on the axle should be the same diameter as the 12427. Even the 12428. Different scale, but same hex hub size.
Yeah if the SMax has a 12mm hex, these wheels should fit

The 12mm hex extenders are to big and wobble ?? What am I doing wrong lol??
Very nice upgrade and good run Dave.
Thanks Greg
Nice easy and cheap upgrade Dave! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Ryan
Good price- thanks for the heads up‼️👍👍🦾🦾
Thanks for watching mate
What size washer did you use
That looks like a decent mod mate. Good find. What 3S are you using? Li-Po I assume on stock ESC?
Yes I used a 1500mah 45C 3S on the stock 2 in 1 esc receiver combo. Cheers for watching mate 👍

Put some oil shocks on it. Did that to my car. That is such a bike difference.
What size wheel hex extenders did you use?? 15mm? 20mm or 25mm???
I didn't use any extenders, i mentioned in this video i recommend people use them
@@PERTHWESTOZRC okay sorry. What size would you say is best then mate
What washer size did you use please? Very INTRESTED. M1? Or what? Not sure what size to buy for washer
Yeah was something like an M1 size, basically was the smallest washer i had on hand mate cause the head of the screw is tiny
