- I am back with another clothing DIY today and showing you the process of making jeans for the first time and completely from scratch.
These jeans are made from 8oz denim with minimal stretch and use the Dawn Jeans sewing pattern. They have several finishing options, and I am opting for a cropped, relaxed skinny version with a zip fly closure. They are a great vintage fit style jeans to try and make!

Nice video I was watching to learn how to see the front and back legs as I am making Dungarees for my partner. Maybe you can do a Dungarees video in the future. Once again great video.
Glad you found it helpful! Funny you should about dungarees...I have had some stretchy denim in my stash for ages and a Tilly & the Buttons patern for dungarees waiting to be used. Maybe that will be my next sewing project to tackle! Thanks for watching! xoxo

Glad you like it! I would love a more durable machine as they may have sewn a lot easier, but I was so happy my little old machine could do it 💪
I would love to upgrade my machine (although I love this one for the simplicity) and I would also love to invest in a server too!
