Lotus Europa - Ep 48: Fiberglass repairs: Front wings

We are continueing the fiberglass repairs on the bodyshell of my 1967 Lotus Europa S1. In this video we are rebuilding the front wings, which are in need of some work after accident damage and previous repairs.

Good job, and I like the way you are not relying too much on filler. Giving the vehicle a whole new skin to finish it off is also a good idea that will maximise the chance of your paint staying good long term instead of being afflicted with blistering and cracks within a few months, as I have sadly seen on other classic Lotus cars shortly after being repainted. This is a really terrific project. I'm a long-time lover of Europas, but what I'm really impressed by are your skills in so many areas. How have you learned all this at such a young age?

Thanks Scott. The internet is a great place, so much information available. Then you just have to be confident and just try it. Trial and error is a big part of it.
