Good to see you back - hope all is well. This is one of my favorites. That's Edi on verse 2 (he has two kids with Pac's sister), and Khadfi on the last verse (RIP, he was raised with Pac since birth because their mothers were like sisters and involved in the black power movement.....he was killed 2 months after Pac's death).
Nah, it doesn't speak about him faking his death. Ty had it right - he's speaking metaphorically about elevating your thinking so you're ahead of the game. Pac had too much integrity and had too much he wanted to do to fake his death
I disagree there was four hits out him feds watching him time on the shelf he wasn't going back to prison on his mom.he knew he was worth more dead than alive he planned to retire early at 25 he said that 5 yrs before he was gonna go at everybody sell 5 mill retire early live off the money in another country it was all strageclly planned hell it's all he talked about in his music he fired on erebody knowing it put him on the top he'd go out as a legend an huge sales he's still living off of
Tupac was appealing his conviction. He had political prisoner relatives, he wasn’t afraid of prison. His own mother fought her charges, she didn’t run although she faced decades if not centuries. Tupac was taught by the black panthers to stand tall, not run and hide.
Possibly my favorite song by him but he has so many great ones
One of the dopest track Pac worked on, and there are SO MANY
Word up !
