Rest In Peace to all the people who passed in this movie. Fun fact: Tiny Lister the actor who played Debo actually wrestled in the WWE against Hulk Hogan, under the name Zeus
The speech Craig's father gives to him is phenomenal and what I think the whole movie is about, that in life you win some and you lose some, but if you keep your cool and handle it differently you will live another day.
This movie was intended to show a lighter side of the hood, that not everyday was like Boyz N Tha Hood or Menace II Society. And they delivered one of the best comedies of all time. So many legends in this movie have since passed. John Witherspoon (Mr. Jones), Tiny Lister (Deebo), Bernie Mac (Pastor), Anthony Johnson (Ezale), Michael Clarke Duncan (Cameo appearance) just to name a few. So many quotable lines from this movie. Glad you finally watched this classic.
Nia Long is a national treasure. She still looks the same age all these years later. You might have heard her name lately because her fiancé just got suspended. He coaches the Celtics
Yea he got us to the damn finals and had to go and sleep with some campy white chick. Dude was in several organizations doing the dame cheating on her. Sad
If I’m not mistaken this was Ice Cubes first movie that he wrote himself. His acting debut was the film “Boyz in the Hood”. I would also highly recommend watching that movie. Has a darker tone to the movie but still has laughable moments. Side note: that was a young Megan Good who said “man I hate him” at the ice cream truck lol
