    People keep saying 'give this man some signings', but.. what if this Liverpool side has got enough good players? Players on which you cannot easily improve with a new signing. Competition is good for a team, but from what I've heard too many players expecting (or feeling entitled) to play is a terrible thing for a team. There might still be positions they're looking at right now, but is there someone you can actually get that improves on the current player? Liverpool is a great club, but not a club known for the hugest signings. They've got to be clever more often than the competition. They buy smart. What if they can actually win or contend with this team? They can save hundreds of millions, making sure to save it for the future. Arne says it himself, he inherited a great team. And much of the praise for that should rightfully go to Jürgen Klopp. Good for Arne that he admits this openly. Salt of the earth kindof lad.

    • @headleybenn5204
      @headleybenn5204 18 дней назад

      It appears difficult now but we do need signings.
      However, we have 4 centre halves, one is 33 and so statistically likely to start picking up injuries, 2 have chequered injury records and 1 got subbed at half time of last week's game which suggests the manager may not be sure.
      We look like we may have a quality 6 in Grav but manager seems unsure about our other 6 - Endo - due to him struggling when we look to play the ball out from the back.
      The system seems very dependent on the wingers being at it. On the right hand side it is maybe a lot to ask Mo to be at it for over 50 games a season.
      Then you have the issue of the contracts. You have Virgil mentioning we need new signings now and if his thoughts are echoed by Mo and Trent then they may not be happy to sign new deals if they don't think we have shown enough ambition in the market.
      If LFC are proactive they can probably bring in replacements for some of those issues now such that if the worst case happens and they are replacing all 3 of them next summer they aren't also having to sort the other aspects I mentioned AND by acting now clubs aren't aware of out desperation which they will be if we lose those 3.
      Things are very finely balanced, do nothing in the last 5 days, lose those 3 and we could be lookimg at hugely difficult and expensive (which our owners probably won't authorise) next summer with no money coming in. Buy a few now, we could really be looking very strong the league and even the CL, convincing those 3 the clubs ambition matches theirs, they sign new contracts and we bounce into next summer after a great season in a position of strength

      mate we have tonnes of games, one or twoinjuries to key players and everyone will change their mood if it reflects on the pitch. Stop this fsg living, 'save us millions' shit. LFC still need 2-3 players to over take city oir arsenal. but if you want a good solid 3rd (which sounds like ur happy with) then leave the squad as it is.Remember, where acouple of injuries away from being fucked, jota is made from weetabix and then that brainless donkey hsa to play
