I don't think so. They excel at small cars and I personally love the brand but they cannot be considered above average when it comes to reliability. I've had both their J20A and J20B engine and both burn through oil like an oil lamp and will need regular top ups. In addition, this car reviewed is way underpowered for a 7 seater. That's probably the same engine as the Jimny which is already considered underpowered despite its small size. In many circumstances, power equals safety and I wouldn't be confident I can drive my family away from danger in that thing. Also, Damn that's ugly. It's like a Subaru Outback, VW Tiguan, Honda CR-V, Honda HR-V and a Suzuki minivan had one baby. They really need the Giorgetto design language back. The SX4 was the perfect small car.
This guy raises the bar for car reviews. Maybe too high, no one else comes close. That high pitched voice is surprisingly fun to listen to. It complements his style.

XL7's headroom and legroom for 2nd row is ample but shoulder room might be a problem for 3 adults as what Mr. Caco said and presented. The Xpander headroom, legroom and shoulder room for 2nd row is ample and very comfortable for 3 adults and could fit even for 4 adults. Another thing is for XL7's 3rd row and 2nd when folded is not flat unlike Xpander when folded is flat so Xpander has also more cargo space.

There was a time that Suzuki was launching the "right cars at the wrong time," "wrong cars at the right time" and the "wrong cars at the wrong time." the Vitara XL7, SX4 Crossover, SX4 Sedan and the Kizashi. They have improved since then..

Question: I have 2 kids and a Disabled husband. We need to move back to Cavite City by January of 2021. We will be coming from Davao City and will bring some of our items. I got here simply because we are looking into purchasing a car that I can manage to drive for a very long trip (Davao-Manila). So I have watched 3 videos of AutoDeal already for Cars like Xpander, Seltos and Suzuki XL7. My question is which among this 3 will help me drive safely for a long trip and comfortably for my kids and husband?
Definitely Suzuki XL7. Expander sirain ang fuel pump nya. Baka tumirik at masiraan ka pa sa daan. Tapos yung interior nya is too 'plasticky'. Mas elegant interior ng XL7. It's a looker, unlike Xpander na medyo nakakasawa na tingnan, lalo na yung silver color.
Hello sir caco!!!! Can you please do a suzuki 2020 vitara vs xl7 review ? I really wanna hear your opinion and i just don’t know which one to get .......
Suzuki is ripping you guys off at this price, you are missing out on middle row captain seats, led fog lamps, cruise control, Smart Hybrid system with auto start/stop feature that we get in the Indian XL6 (The XL7 is 5mm longer and 10mm taller than the XL6 but is identical in all other aspects.) and it only costs around 926,000 Philippine peso on road including all taxes in India...
Was just curious, what happened to the Vitara? Did they really lessen it's importation because the China brands got the majority of its sales in its segment?
I visited the Santa Rosa dealership two weeks ago and the agent said they already stop/discontinued to import the Vitara to make way for this XL7. Quite a bit disappointed to be honest since I'm leaning towards the Vitara, now my only option is the second-hand market.
