Shades of Death Trail - Hickory Run State Park + Pennsylvania - Easy Hike to Amazing Waterfalls

- Shades of Death Trail is a little over 2.2 miles out and back.
Featuring several dam spill overs and smaller waterfalls along a creek.
There is a really cool staircase between 2 Boulders about halfway on the trail.
You will see many mature Hemlock tree's and walk through several rhododendron tunnels - also known as green tunnels.
Smaller hikers need to be careful around the Falls as some rocks are slippery.
There are a few rocks to navigate and the Trail is well marked with Yellow Blazes.
Don't forget to visit Boulder Field at the same State Park.

What beauty watching the water fall down over all those rocks. Oh, I have not told you yet, but I love, LOVE the slow motion effect over the falls.

Hey Joseph I believe I did have the coffee on this one that was the early days before my stroke and March of 21 when I lost movement on my whole right side I would love to hike back to that spot again one day soon
