Two suggestions. First, make sure you’re not over-drying your skin. It will overproduce oil if you’re using too many drying products on it. You can try using a water based non-greasy moisturizer, as well as reducing use of salicylic acid treatments and super drying soaps and other drying products. Thayers brand alcohol free face toner on a cotton round or soft cloth is what I use to clean my face most days now (instead of face wash), and it really changed the game for me. It’s worth a try to increase the moisture level in your skincare regimen, as backwards as it sounds, though it might take a few months of consistency before your oil glands stop overproducing to compensate for stripping away the natural oils they produce. Stick with it through the rough interim period for at least a few weeks to give it a solid chance to level out. Second, if that doesn’t work enough on its own, get your various hormone levels checked. You might have a hormone imbalance causing it. I would recommend asking for a thyroid panel, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone to start with, unless your doctor thinks more should be added to that list. I am not a doctor and only have experience with this from the patient side, so definitely defer to your doctor. Those are just the ones my doctors have told me commonly affect sebum production (whether directly or indirectly) when they have ordered labs for me. Getting my thyroid disease properly treated definitely helped a lot, because my skin was so dry from hypothyroidism that it was overproducing oils to compensate. I was still stripping the oils too much, though, but switching to the Thayers alcohol free face toner took care of most of the rest of it. My skin still isn’t 100% clear, but it’s much better than it’s been since before puberty because of those two things. You might have a completely different problem, but those two are common enough that it’s worth trying if nothing else has worked thus far! Oh and lastly, you’re probably already doing this, but just make sure you’re changing your pillowcases weekly at minimum, and keeping your hair off your face if you use any product in it that might possibly be getting your face greasy. I know I get massive acne flares if I don’t change my pillowcase twice a week. 😒
Yes, I am well aware those are toe nail clippers. For the life of me, especially when they try to pull out a cyst sac, I don't understand using something sharp as opposed to tweezers....
What is the best thing to use on your face to open your pores up to be cleaned like that? I only have a couple clogged pores but I can never truly clear them, and I want to find something to dry it up so it can heal!
My opinion.... The brand is Serious SkinCare by Jennifer Flavin Stallone, she was once a model, now married to the one and only Sylvester Stallone. They have three beautiful, gorgeous daughters who obviously use her skincare. She has kits for everyone with all skin types.. Examples are Vitamin C.... Vitamin A.... Clear acne line... My favorite, The Glycolic line... It's incredible, it cleans the skin so well as it prepares the new skin to just look and feel fabulous. Words cannot really describe, you will have to try even just one product from one of her lines and prepare yourself to be truly amazed. Also, she has a sulphur acidical line that includes the famous Dri-Lo which is a little like 2 or 4 ounce bottle that you slip a q-tip in and pull right out, and apply immediately to a new pimple on your face and allow to dry overnight. By morning time, pimple will be gone, or well on it's way. But I feel any product in her line will clean your face so well and prepare it for anything. She obviously has all the answers to all of my dilemmas throughout the years. And even better, the prices are miniscule compared to many other high-end face cleaning products on the market. She compares her products to the over $250 face products, and they don't hold a candle to any one of her products. I can't say enough good things about her products. I just wished that I could have been able to use her products my whole life. Unfortunately, I've had to settle for cheap Walmart products instead. But I was able to catch lots of her skincare products with great sales, saving like 75% off. That was blessings 🙏... . You will not be disappointed, I promise you. Jennifer is 100% true to her word. She made all these products for pennies a day, for people like myself that could never afford the high - end high costly products.
Biore has a great witch hazel facial tonic. Or use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel. Biore has a couple of good products that tighten pores - masks, etc.
If the pores are full then your cleansing routine needs changing but pores are always open although you can shrink their appearance by keeping the pores empty. If they are empty and have been for a while then that is just your pore size. A lot of people forget that pores are completely normal and that people online use filters to hide theirs and make their skin look smooth. What makes you think they are scarred I've never heard that before?

I need these videos in my life 😂
Doc, I'm more interested to know what to do after picking those sebaceous filaments. Is there a products to care for those newly 'cleaned' pores? 😅
Pushta by the Gooes! Love it!👏🏼👏🏼
Do another one is these Dr. Sandra (Pimple Popper) Lee. I love these!!!!!
They keep the stuff inside the blackhead laying there all over the patient.
Yah that’s gross
How is that any more gross than having them in your body lol? It's not like they're left there forever
@@ismellnumbers It is just not very sterile. They should be wiped away. Not kept there where everyone can see them. It is not a pretty thing.
Most die hard fans of pimple removal are used to this.
@@janetdrapalski3151 Guess I am NOT that die hard. I like the way Sandra Lee did it. She did the best thing for the patient. I like a nice clean pop.
Yes, I am well aware those are toe nail clippers. For the life of me, especially when they try to pull out a cyst sac, I don't understand using something sharp as opposed to tweezers....
Use the acid after the extractions seems most effective.
this is so satisfying... i get these on the sides of my nose
I think my nose pores are scarred. What can I do to help them close more?
Biore has a great witch hazel facial tonic. Or use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, witch hazel. Biore has a couple of good products that tighten pores - masks, etc.
If the pores are full then your cleansing routine needs changing but pores are always open although you can shrink their appearance by keeping the pores empty. If they are empty and have been for a while then that is just your pore size. A lot of people forget that pores are completely normal and that people online use filters to hide theirs and make their skin look smooth. What makes you think they are scarred I've never heard that before?
Neutrogena also makes a good facial cleanser that firms and tightens the skin. Neutrogena acne wash 👍🏼
**looks on, horrified but unable to look away**
When I had oily skin I always used olive oil. The oil helps breakdown the gunk. Never use products like alcohol, salicylic acid etc.
I am actually infatuated with the ones that are like that with the fiiiine little hairs getting them to come out perfect 1 pull whole thing ❤
Vinegar. Great on anything like this. Good for chicken pox (really stops the itching) and wonderful on head lice.
I agree with you. They need a good cleanser for the pores!
My husband has the worst sebaceous filaments on his nose 👃
He can squeeze any part of his nose and these come out! It’s crazy.
I’ve been trying to get him to use a couple of my salicylic acid products but he won’t do it on his own because he’s lazy, I guess. I have to take care of his skin, my skin and my kid’s skin!
I hope he sees you trashing him in the comments tbh that's messed up
They are all your kids, a grown man is still a kid at least to his wife. You are a good wife
MY MOM IS WORKING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Cute Dr.Pimplepopper. I am glad my forthcoming wife will be a Native too {just like her!}
I LOVE THIS ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️
”Do you know that’s a NAILCLIPPER?!” Like she doesn’t uses tablespoons when she does surgery 😂😂 hahahah
Yeah, I saw this one episode of that anxious guy (who phoned his mom halfway in) with that open lump on his arm and she just used a regular tablespoon to scoop the stuff out. If it works, who are you to judge? Just because something is called a bread-knife doesn't mean you can't slice a man's throat with it. 😜 (not that I would do such a thing mind you)
It's a LOT better to see it SQUEEEEZED😂❤
This is a cuticle clipper, also used for clipping fake nails off.
It's actually called a cuticle nipper and it's used for cutting off dead cuticles or dead tissue from the cuticle area. One this size is used for toenail area.. or maybe it's so close up it's regular size and that's used for dead cuticles around the fingernails
I have zero patience for this method of extraction. I loathe it.😂❤
I have a a phobia of holes. This is really really like stressing me out because how it looks but it’s so satisfying.
Agree…..putting it on the glove makes me not watch them. I avoid those. 🤢
You think that is gross but you watch this stuff?
Then don’t
Me: "ew wtf"
Also me: *keeps watching*
The music made it hard to hear you at times.
My skin got clearer and smoother after using a cleanser with salicylic acid
Dr. Lee is soooooo cute !!
