Once I had a inside cyst on the top part of my private area and close to where my stomach area connects and had to go have it cut to get the cyst and infection out and it was so painful before I went to the hospital I couldn't really sit down because of how bad it hurts and they didn't get All of the cyst out so when it was time to take the packing out it still hurts and was hard and wasn't healing so I gained the strength and sucked up the and mashed it as hard as I could and the rest of the cyst finally came out and after that it took like 3 days for the cut I had to heal
Or take earrings out. Have a nice long hot shower. Slight squeeze and it will all come out straight away. No pain, discomfort or drama. Source: was a body piercer for 12 years.
I would indeed seek advice at my piercer too. Every time I feel worried about an area that has a piercing in it, I go to my piercer or just call for advice.
Well, with that earring still in, Iwould clean out, then apply neosporin to keep infection away. Neosporin is an antibiotic. Oh baloney! She's doing a guessing game. Polisporin or neosporin will heal it and then u can take the earring out! It WILL NOT GET INFECTED AGAIN.
I'm a massage therapist, and I can tell you that most likely it's a part of culture for some not to remove certain jewelry that they have had on since childhood, something that an elderly family member gave them, or since getting married. I usually tell my clients to remove all neck and wrist jewelry, and I have had people refuse based on those reasons. It's mostly people from India, and some are from Mexico. They think it's bad luck to remove jewelry that has been on their bodies for almost their entire lives.
But the have must soldering it shut next to the ear, you think that isnt close enough inflict pain so close to the ear. Some cultures have earrings permanently soldered. My ear were pierced at 3 months old. At age 12 my first hoops were soldered. Once I grew up and moved out (something I wasn’t supposed to do) I had them cut off. When I removed the earrings, stopped wearing my nose ring and refused to live at home my family disowned me and asked me to change my name as I was dead to them. I was 19. I’m now 47. My parents died years ago, I have a brother and sister I don’t know and my two kids don’t have any family outside of me.

First heat up water, add salt, pour warm saltwater into a shot glass, dip lobe in it for 2-3 minutes (at the very least, you'll look a bit silly). If the earring is new-ish (within a few weeks) taking it out would allow the "tunnel" the jewelry is holding open to close on both ends, trapping the infection within that lobe. If uncomfortable, and unwilling to let it just close up, here's a trick I learned long ago.... using a very VERY fine filament (VERY flexible PVC type plastic, used for weed whackers) the same size as the earring (12mm or 18mm, etc), it can be used to replace jewelry in a pinch (though Amazon does sell the real kind, which can be good for hiding these in work situations) and perfect for MRI. as non-metal, non-magnetic temporary jewlery.* If the earring is older and able to maintain its tunnel, take it out and let this heal. My clear 7/16" Kaos Skins basically live in my ears. I almost never use anything else. Well, I left them out for 10 years, then stretched them back out. Surprisingly, the holes shrunk down to about 10ga and didn't end up looking all gross like some do when they take out large gauges. Also, damn, the second time stretching my lobes was waaaay easier and faster. No discomfort either, lol.
I have seen this video over and over So many covered it. Everyone is the same question. Why aren't they removing the earring. Someone commented that this type of earring is soldered together so unless it's cut. It can't be removed.
And this is why once the piercing studs come out you should remove jewelry everytime you shower, wash and dry the hole well and clean that jewelry thoroughly before you put it back on. Keeps the shiny things shiny and helps prevent infections and stuck jewelry.

I don't know why she had such a hard time. This happened to my son with a stud earring. I just pushed it from behind his ear and it popped back out the hole with no problem

I agree. In fact, during a period of forced reduced self-care (while caring for an elder), one of my ears collected a bit too much dead skin cells and soap gunk behind and within the piercing. It was impossible to remove the screw-on post without excoriating the tissue. So I did some soaking to soften and remove some of surface accretion. Then I removed the earring, cleaned out the piercing, disinfected it and kept it clean until healing completed. This was at the height of the Covid pandemic, or I would have seeked professional help after removing the surface mess. The hole shrunk back internally over time, and typical proper hygiene has prevented recurrence.
I have 23 earnings, so I cannot just take them out everyday. I wear small hoops so it is easy to sleep. Every once in a while, to keep them clean, I have this routine. I take a rather thick needle, I thread it with two threads and tie tons of knots in the thread. Every inche or so. The string enda up being around 8" long. I dip the entire thing in alcohol or peroxide (whatever I see first) and put the needle in each hole BACKWARDS, with the eye end first so I don't poke a new hole. Then I pull the string all the way through. I do it a few times with each hole. They are never too dirty because I do that. I started decades ago because a boyfriend said my earrings smelled bad as a teen. Once I started that, the smell never came back.
Sometimes it's easier to extract something like this with the earring still in. It gives the contents something to follow/stick to on the way out like a guide.
Sometimes people don't realize that their earring back gets swallowed by their ear. I've met someone that that happened to and they had to have it surgically removed.
I have to disagree with you, Dr Lee. The child is allergic to the "gold" in the earring. I had the same problem as a child. All my ER Nurse/Grandma had my mother do was soak my ear lobe in warm epsom salts and water. It drew the infection out of the earlobe. I had to do that daily for about 2 weeks before it completely went away. Trust me, if anyone came at my ear with any "injections" I would have torn the earrings out of my ear lobes myself! Retin-A, retinol is NOT necessary! There are "old fashioned" rememedies that actually WORK and cost a whole lot LESS!!! I am also an ER Nurse Manager/RN, MSN.
Depending on when it was pierced, you're not supposed to take the earring out, as the hole can close up and trap the infection/dirt inside of the hole if it's a fresh piercing. If it's been pierced for awhile then taking the earring out and cleaning it is fine. If in doubt always ask the piercer who pierced it for advice, they know best as it's what they do for a living.
My piercing holes get dirty ( yes I wash my ears 🙄) , I believe it’s sweat build up, it’s not all the time and it didn’t start happening until menopause 🤷♀️ but is like a blackhead but I can squeeze it right out.. and it’s not a lot but I can look at my ear and see it, I check regularly.
Oh 😮my goodness 😢!!!! How did that happen??? That’s so nasty 🤢 😱🤮 disgusting and painful!!! We know that when we like to wear those kind of earrings, we have to remove them at least once a week to clean up the inner part where the earrings go through the little holes so we won’t get our ears infected like that, “ EVER “ !!!! Ladies, please 🙏 take the best care ever of yourselves 😢, we do look beautiful 🤩 😍 with earrings on our earlopes😊, all of us ladies/ women, take really good care of yourselves and stay healthy and beautiful ❤😊🤩👍. GOD bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏!!!!!
However, if there is an infection present at a piercing they say leave the jewelry in place to keep it "open". If the earring in this case is removed it may seal the infection in.
I got my ears pierced for the first time in 2016. I am allergic to metals of all kinds so that is why i waited til i was 46. My ears help up and no allergies until i was told i had to keep them in until the hole healed , this was a mistake. I had to have them removed immediately, it was bad. I don't wear anything anymore.
One of my ears got pierced crookedly because I flinched when the trigger was pulled on the piercing gun. It began to scar and eventually a cheap earring back shed the gold-color plating and that was stuck in my ear for a while. I finally squeezed it out when I realized there was an object but more scarring followed. So I excised the lump of scar with diagonal fingernail clippers and sealed the spot with strips from waterproof bandages. It healed well and neither grew infected or scarred. You’d have thrown up, Dr. Lee. Oh, I also sealed the other lobe so they’d match.
This woman which had eye surgery is one hell of a woman ,you are beautiful inside and out ,you are stronger than you think .God bless you and your family ,I wish you all the very best for the future all my love Deborah X
It looks like the (Dr?) Is using the earring wire to hold the ear hole open or still so they dont have to ask someone else to hold the lobe or manage themselves? It looks like it would be more fiddlely without it? Then the hole inside the piecing can heal up by its self, u can just put cream on or alcahol everyday, move the earring everyday so it doesnt get stuck and it shouldnt got septic because that earring looks like real gold to me? 🤷🏻♀️😊
All you have to do is push from the back, and it comes out. Then push from the front. Then, use rubbing alcohol or ear piercing liquid. Make sure it gets on the earring also. It doesnt hurt hardly at all.
This used to happen to me severely and I had to let them heal and waited until a teenager to re-pierce. I didn't realize I was allergic to certain materials that made it worse.
I had to stop wearing earrings because I developed cysts in both ear lobes around the earring posts. Even now, 10+ years after removing them, I still get flare ups of irritation and oozing.
If no one else has suggested it, it appears that the back of the earring slipped through the back of the ear & is stuck inside the hole. If they pull the front of the earring out the front, the earring back will still be stuck inside. Best to leave the earring back on as you tease the whole mess out.
I'm in my sixties and I use to have problems with my ears getting a little swollen and red. I switched to only gold earrings and I never had another problem since.
For many years I had a cyst that kept returning in the crease of my ear where the ear joins to my head. Showed the doctor and he lanced it, but it kept coming back. Recently, I noticed a black 'thing" inside my pierced earing hole. It was very similar to the video. I removed the "chunk" in the hole and within a week or so, that cyst behind my ear was gone too. 😮
I think the earring is deliberately left in ..because after clearing away the cyst and during the healing process, the hole could close . So they are avoiding that possibility.
I know exactly why that earring is still there, it's to keep the hole from closing up once the infection is gotten under control and starts healing. It's a whole lot more painful, if not impossible, to get an earring back in a seriously angry piercing hole then it is to just leave it in and work around it. I'm talking from direct experience.
When you have freshly pierced ears the piercing area can become fused to the piercing itself, that's why you have to disinfect and wiggle them around every day. I think that's what happened here.
My thought about the earring is maybe they are still in the “healing period” and so didn’t want to have to try to put it back in. Although I did have a set of ear piercings done with self-piercing earrings (NEVER DO-go have straight post piercings done by a professional) so I’m trying to stretch logic on why the earring was left in!
They're hanging on to the earring like it's a body part
Lol !!

Retin-A, retinol is NOT necessary! There are "old fashioned" rememedies that actually WORK and cost a whole lot LESS!!! I am also an ER Nurse Manager/RN, MSN.
What do you recommend for acne scars on face? Thanks ☺️
Dermabrasion.
Why didn't you let us see the end?
Exactly
Take the earring out! Is there a reason for not taking it out?
This is Soooo Satisfying, Wow!!!
Живу в России, мне 50 и ни разу не видела и не слышала об этой хрени, по ходу у нас не бывает.
Será porque cuidan la limpieza.
Yo nunca he visto eso tampoco. 😂😂😂😂
But other bad stuff sure does.
However, if there is an infection present at a piercing they say leave the jewelry in place to keep it "open". If the earring in this case is removed it may seal the infection in.
Oh that's so good!!! Yea that earring in there doesn't make sense.
I love the way it looks like she’s just laying in bed like the rest of us watching a pimple popping video!
You know that stinks!!
I thought for sure that the earring back was going to come out through the hole.
❤❤❤❤ finally clean out in earrings
Well that will be back in a couple of months
One of my ears got pierced crookedly because I flinched when the trigger was pulled on the piercing gun. It began to scar and eventually a cheap earring back shed the gold-color plating and that was stuck in my ear for a while. I finally squeezed it out when I realized there was an object but more scarring followed. So I excised the lump of scar with diagonal fingernail clippers and sealed the spot with strips from waterproof bandages. It healed well and neither grew infected or scarred. You’d have thrown up, Dr. Lee. Oh, I also sealed the other lobe so they’d match.
Probably done at one of those spa's that now do "i&d" and squeeze blackheads and everything else I wouldn't want someone doing
I need longer videos. Thanks.
All you have to do is push from the back, and it comes out. Then push from the front. Then, use rubbing alcohol or ear piercing liquid. Make sure it gets on the earring also. It doesnt hurt hardly at all.
Satisfying removal❤
Obviously the earring was stuck, I've seen that before, no matter how we tugged at the earring, it wouldn't move.
This was so grossly satisfying
I never even thought of one being in with a piercing (as I have 3 on each ear and one nose)
This would suuuuuuuck
Look like it feel good I remember I got a bump on my earlobe was so painful
This used to happen to me severely and I had to let them heal and waited until a teenager to re-pierce. I didn't realize I was allergic to certain materials that made it worse.
Soooooooo satisfying😅
That would smell so good 😂😂 I must say ear ring plugs are satisfying but when it comes to mine I like to smell it 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 try it
Hey doc, is it possible the earring was stuck, that’s why they did it like this?
I figured leaving the earring in would help speed healing. They got the cyst wall. The earring will hold the hole open like a drain.
I'm sitting here the whole time TALKING TO MY PHONE lookin crazy saying "take the earring out, what's wrong with you? Take the earring out"!😊
I had to stop wearing earrings because I developed cysts in both ear lobes around the earring posts. Even now, 10+ years after removing them, I still get flare ups of irritation and oozing.
I ❤it, I ❤it, I ❤it TY
If no one else has suggested it, it appears that the back of the earring slipped through the back of the ear & is stuck inside the hole. If they pull the front of the earring out the front, the earring back will still be stuck inside. Best to leave the earring back on as you tease the whole mess out.
You are absolutely gorgeous doc
That was so satisfying
Me encanta su serie Dra. Li.
I'm in my sixties and I use to have problems with my ears getting a little swollen and red. I switched to only gold earrings and I never had another problem
since.
Serious question... Why would you not remove the earing before cleaning out the piercing?
I like Dr. Pimple Popper
I’ve had this type of buildup in my earring holes before, I’d just wash them extra carefully until it all goes away.
