Not everyone experiences true heartbreak to this degree? Sorry, but this is just not true. Everyone experiences true loss and deep pain at some point. It may not be specifically about a romantic relationship, but everyone experiences tremendous loss through death of loved ones, domestic violence, watching someone you love fall into addictions, being betrayed by family or someone you love and many, many other situations. That is just life and everyone will experience it at least once in their lives, if not multiple times.

I know everyone has their opinions of Shannon but I feel so badly for her each and every time she has that difficult to talk cry. It always just seems like it’s her actual pain coming out in that moment. Certain people when they get upset like that just make me feel so badly

Probably also why she is cast as a housewife. Its all about holding nothing back. If you are pissed off at someone in the room, you are encouraged to confront it etc.

These men and women, primarily the women that are on the Real Housewives, have to realize that it is not healthy on their relationships. There is a lot of forced drama because that is what the network wants. And that drama trickles into their marriages/dating lives. Statistics are high on divorces occurring on or after the women are on the show. The RH is a toxic program. I am not shocked one bit on this break up.

These women will do anything to be on TV and they obviously don’t care about how their man thinks, just look at the examples of Kenya’s husband Marc, or Dr. Jen’s husband Ryne, lots of the men were forced to be on camera by their wives even though they don’t want to, this is just sad (although there were men that wants to be on the show even more than their wives do such as Slade, Patricia, Joey, PK, or Angie Harrington’s husband😂)

Shannon, my story is so much likes yours. Married 24 yrs, 3 daughters - husband left, had 2 sons ( he ended up dying with his youngest son was 6 mo old ) ANYWAY I connected w/ a friend from HS and I fell head over heals - we were together for 5 yrs. I considered him my best friend/love of my life. We never lived together - BUT he was here so much I was ready to tell him he was here too much ( I work from home ) and then I find out he married someone else a few months prior (which was 4.5 yrs into our relationship ) I've never told my friends and family what happened and to this day am still angry and hurt and question why I believed he was not only my best friend but the love of my life.

I was blindsided by a relationship also. We were in love and happy and he kept asking me to marry him. One day he just vanished and I found him on dating sites within a week of him "dissapearing". I was devastated and in shock. Turns out he is a raging covert narcissist and he plays this game with many women. Hang in there Shannon, sometimes God takes the trash out for you. ❤

Rachel thank you ..the voice of reason … exactly ! Everyone is cheering for Shannon , but she needs to be off reality . She’s to volatile! I feel and I’m going to be on of the least liked comments her but i think reality tv destroyed her life . Had she worked it out with David without the cameras, would they be together now .. most likely I think so … well that is a strong possibility, but ever since she started RHOOC , it’s her being constantly upset , crying , sad. Very short period of her facing fun but with alcohol , obviously this women is numbing her issues with alcohol . She needs to stop blaming everyone and playing the victim and move on with her life
Shannon's daughter said she wasn't sure about their relationship, Long ago. She knew it wasn't going to last. Count your blessings, and move on.
I feel both have a drinking problems and both denial that they have one. A lot of everything they did drinking is always a part of what you do. He has made comments about we aren’t getting married for a long time a few times on the show. I’m sorry Shannon that this was easier to go through the pain and in there it will get better.

I agree with you 100% Her drinking came up several times on the show and cast members talked about it with concern, especially since she drinks when she's alone and calls them. The level that she gets to be so wasted so often that we've seen is something that you'd expect a younger adult to do, but at some point you grow out of it unless you have a problem. As a recovering alcoholic I recognize the behavior of it. Even when her children were very young they talked about her being drunk that they witnessed a lot. When she was still married and they moved into that home, they showed the family walking inside and there were unpacked boxes everywhere and the first thing she did was say she needed a drink and had to look for the alcohol. Everytime she went to a party or event she would immediately say sheneeded to get a drink. She's in denial.

I'm close to your age and went through the same thing. It was one of the hardest things I have ever been through. My best friend wouldn't be there for me because my best friend was gone. So hard Shannon. I'm so sorry! It's like a death!
I do feel bad when anyone goes through a breakup. But i think Shannon needs some intensive therapy. There were obviously problems we don't know about.

Reminds me a bit of "Dirty John" where he knew that Shannon was vulnerable and had money. She made it seem as if she did not foresee any major issues and they were in a good place. I bet he had a girlfriend and needed to keep his "face" for the cameras. It will all come out eventually.

Sometimes you are so in love so and don’t want to see what is obviously happening, she said it, she wanted this to work SO MUCH. People drop clues and attitudes and we choose not to see them for what they are. People rarely blindside others, we choose to ignore the signs.

Shannon, I know you’ve probably heard this from your friends and families but it’s so true. Take time for you sometimes we have to really do a deep dive on our self in our soul to help us to move on. Right now you have dealt with two horrible break ups, and you were hurting very bad and I’m sorry to see that. I will tell you spending time by yourself and your children as the weeks and months and maybe year goes by it will get easier trust me it will. Much happiness to you.
I think he decided during filming & didn't want the break up during filming,so he might of thought he was doing right by her. Heck maybe he was.. sometimes things just do not work out better to end it than drag it along.

I saw them at Barnes and Noble in Newport Beach in April. John Jansen was soooo bored and miserable. They were not a good match. She was all glam and attention, and he looked like he wished he was on a sailboat. He was done in April.

Shannon…looking back, do you see that there were red flags you ignored? Just curious because SO MANY women don’t want to open their eyes at the time they are “under the spell”. Girlfriends sometimes try to tell them very carefully but the smitten woman just plunders on, with blinders attached, and walks right into the same boo boos she’s already been through before.

Shannon, when she said the nights are not your friend and suggests going out it's concerning you immediately thought she said go our and drink at a bar. She tried to redirect you, but you couldn't even see she didn't mean drinking at a bar. I haven't had alcohol in 13 years. Go to a friends, go to a bar with friends, go dancing with friends, go to a movie, for coffee, for dinner, educational event, take a course...do anything with people...don't drink alcohol! I think alcohol was the biggest problem for you both.

I like Shannon and I feel bad for her but, i feel she probably is very difficult to handle sometimes and we have seen her outbursts on every season she's been on. We dont know how she is when the cameras are gone. Maybe a lot worse. Maybe he just couldn't deal with another off season or the maniac behavior.
