Worse thing you can do to a cold 2 stroke is rev it as soon as it fires. Give the piston and ring time to heat up and tighten up in the bore and your saw will last ALOT longer. I seen worn and broken rings, scored pistons and cylinders hundreds of times over the years doing small engine work and most of them were from cold revving. 👍👍 Nice saw btw
I bought my ms390 in 2002. It still runs great. Just keep it maintained.
