I am playing this game for the first time right now! and hearing this music in this stage is beautiful 😍 and so far the world and controls for this game is by far better than Sonic adventure 2 . Really thought I honestly though that this game came out around the 2000s becuase this game kind reminds me the Mario 64 Game but yeah I am loving it so far and can't wait to play through all the stages 🤗
My father had this on Dreamcast and I had it on GameCube ❤ I remember I first played it on the Dreamcast and I loved the dolphins.whales jumping out of the water behind me as I ran
What do you mean they aren't linear? Obviously there are like, tiny shortcuts or deviations you can take, but the game has you pretty confined on a dedicated path. Like, look at the level design here and probably at least 90% of it is linear/mandatory, Most of the entire third act of the level is on a straight path, exploration is non-existent in the second act, and ok, there are a couple cool shortcuts in the first act (for example the homing attack chain to get the shield) but they last 5 seconds long and they don't change the gameplay up that much I'm a person who grew up with the game and I think y'all are legitimately over-exaggerating when you guys are calling SA1's level design "open-ended". Like, its slightly more open than SA2 but we're talking minimal shit here
@@ASOtheprO It's nowhere nearly as branched out as the level design from the Genesis games though. There are very few opportunities to deviate from the main path and the alternate routes are very "bite-sized" at best. The game is usually built around one main path whereas the Genesis games usually have at least 3 main paths
Most epic stage in Sonic history
Watching this really took me back. I really loved this game as a kid. And now too of course.

Terrifying!
So rad i appreciate you posting this
I'm old enough remember the song as the original theme for the first level of Sonic 3D Blast for Genesis
My favorite stage in all of sonic adv. I played it repeatedly
What city escape?
best level in the game......the early windy valley is better than the final.
The moment you realize that Rouge the Bat is a red sparkle
That’s not rouge the bat that’s tikal the echidna
Lani didn't voice Tikal she did some minor voice work in SA1 though things like the train announcer .

What are people talking about these levels are linear just like the modern games?
lol no they aren't

I’m sorry? Saying this is linear is like saying literally any stage with an end point and a path to get to that end point is linear
