Your tags are a real inspiration to me. When I embroider my stitches are tiny and as close to perfect I can make them....but the finished piece is boring. Your tags are teaching me to let my creative juices flow, because your tags a anything but boring! I have loved every one. Oh and you have taught me some new stitches for sure. Thank you so much.
I love your stitching Rachel, your layers work so well together. I’m behind. Of course. The hour has messed me up. We try to get to bed by midnight and I like to read for an hour or so. So last night it was one in the morning before we got to bed and I read until nearly 3 o’clock! And the mornings are non existent but I’ll be ok after the weekend I’m sure. I had my 2nd jab tonight but goodness knows if it’ll make any difference whatsoever in being safe. 3 weeks and then perhaps hubby will let me out of shielding. Thank you for the video, you and Tina and Gayle and Anne have kept me company over the past year if just me and hubby. 🥰🌸🌼
Oh my goodness I love tag. Purple is my favorite color and the flower centers are so cute. The time change, for some reason is really bothering me this year. I am hardly sleeping. Thanks for sharing your beautiful tag.
Si happy you are usung the beads...it reminds me if how beautiful they are to use and how much they can enhance the piece. Last week when you added the beads to your piece it was just perfect addition to your piece
I love watching you, thanks so much for sharing. Yes that hour change is killing me also, then I got my second covic shot two days ago, and I'm tired with a headache. But still love watching you, from Twin Falls, Idaho USA.
Hello Rachel! Just sitting here having my coffee and enjoying your process, the tag is beautiful I love all thee different textures. Thanks for the video and I hope you have a fabulous day. Take care!
Hi Rachel, not doing much today either, making some gravy for dinner. Thank you for showing the peanut flower shape, will be sure to try them when I move. Loving all the layers on this tag it has turned out beautiful the beads took it to another level. You have more patience than I do with the thread, I would have opted for the beads, but that’s why I love your stitching. You keep adding delightful tags to add to the gorgeous array that you have on your ring of finished tags. Take care and stay safe. Hugs. Theresa
It will be hard to decide which of your tags is my favorite, I just love the flowers on this one. I know your Mum must be very proud of you girls, and I love how you mention her often it warms the heart.:) So sweet.
Well, once again, you have started out not sure of your route and ended up with a beautiful piece! I love the colors and all three flowers!!Quite the inspiration to keep going. Good show my dear!❤️
I don’t like the metal thimble either. They always fall off my finger. I found some silicone sticky dots on Amazon that I really like. I stick on on top of my thumb because that’s where I always stab myself.
I like those too! I actually found them in my Mom's things and when I was sewing some braided trivets gave them a go and they were literally finger savers!
It’s warm in San Francisco today, too - 79 degrees F, which I guess is about 26C. The birds in the background sound lovely. Love your tag. Hope you and your family are doing well.
How can anyone expect something called slow stitching to be a short video 😶🙄 I love this one Rachel. I knew you would shine with layers and you really did! Who expected layered flowers? I love both types of flowers so simple but they look really neat. Love it! Thank you so much for showing us how to make both of them. It's those little touches like the flowers and random beads that make your pieces so surprising.
Love the way your tips and gift turned out, very tactile, you are so talented with amazing ideas. I’m the same as you, the hour has made a huge difference to me, I too haven’t slept well since the clocks went forward, but it has made no difference to my hubby at all. He can sleep anywhere and through anything and at anytime lol. Xxx
Hey Rachel! Hope your well! Weather here is crazy....today it’s been raining 🌧 all day...flood advisory in some areas in our county. Tomorrow a freeze warning and maybe flurries 😬🤭 and this time change is aggravating for sure! I live in an apartment as well...how in the world do you put up with all that noise above you? 😲😳 I have that some times buts adults 🙄 lol. Love your patience! Amazing work on your tags! 🤗
Another fab tag Rachel. I'm the same with thimbles etc of whatever kind, I need to be able to feel the fabric. I do use pliers to pull a needle through if it gets a bit tough to pull it through by hand.💜
This week's tag was hard for me..I started two other tags I didn't like until I made the third...and it was still tough!! YOUR TAG Rachel...sigh...just Beautiful!!! I loved watching every, single minute of you creating...xo
I *despise* the change of time. It does not matter whether I lose and hour or I gain an hour, I suffer for about 10 days. My body definitely does not like the change in rhythm. Very lovely tag! I look forward to your post every week. 💕💕
Today is Thursday it’s 32° and we have snow I’m watching you today in my car I just got my Covid second shot and I am waiting patiently to get through this line of traffic that’s waiting 15 minutes before they leave enjoy your nice day and the birds tweeting while I’m freezing 🥶
Rachel, This "layered" tag is wonderful! I love the handmade flowers that you added, they are so pretty! Thank you for showing us how to make them. I also think the beads were are great addition. I love it when you pull out your beads for a project. I think they just make your tags sparkle and shine! Enjoyed watching your video. TFS, Nice job!😊I'm still watching the playlist!
Love your use of textures, colors and patterns on your tags! Had to comment for the first time to let you know I really enjoy your creative work and your intuitive process! Your videos are inspiring!
Tag turned out lovely. Especially like the ‘fluffy bits’. Also I’m with you on the thimble. No matter what finger I put it on, I use the finger without it, lol.
Beautiful Tag. Love the Flowers/colours. You make it look so easy...Thank you so much for sharing/teaching us to make the flower. Take care. x Blessings x Mariana UK xx
I go to Rome every Christmas (except for last year, of course) and the weather is amazing. Haven't experienced a summer in Rome as I hear it's so hot. Then again it's hot here in New York
Another wonderful design Rachel, what type of cotton/thread were you using at the start and what should I look out for? I know things have different names and thicknesses and as a total newbie to slow stitching I get a bit overwhelmed with the choices out there! Tfs xxx💕
So pretty Rachel. I watch Sagufta Fyms on you tube and she just did some amazing centers for her embroidered flowers. Thought you might like to know about her. She is wonderful.
Absolutely love your tag... hope you don’t mind if I use your layered flower idea! It’s because of you that I add beads to my tags every chance I get! 💞
I was a bit concerned; I just couldn't see it. The when you added the flowers, it was a revelation. This is actually one of the best and most creative tags. Love the various purples with the mustard and the little beads and thread stamens are wonderful final touches. And Rachel here's ********** (10 stars) for your patience. I think I would have been hanging out the window yelling S H U T UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!
I could watch you all day! This tag was a fun one. My dear gramma used a thimble that belonged to her grandmother.... Mine was born in 1899 so.. hole was worn in it and my gramma's brother soldered that... Unfortunately it was stolen by a group of meth heads... (but I'm not bitter... lol)
Bonjour Roxy, Je me permets de vous poser la question , avez vous fait un Tutoriel pour la fabrication des pensées. Je trouve cela très beau. Merci beaucoup pour toutes ces belles créations 😘😘😘
Your add-on flowers just are the cat's whiskers, as always, Rachel. Hugs, Carol xo

I'm just using a thing crochet one. I think it's vintage as I bought it at an antique market. You can use just regular thread. Thank you so much!
So pretty Rachel. I watch Sagufta Fyms on you tube and she just did some amazing centers for her embroidered flowers. Thought you might like to know about her. She is wonderful.

Do those kids play right under your window. They are behaving today at least they are not screaming and crying!
Yes they were under my window.
They look like pansies. Really cute.
