From gaping holes under the bedroom slide to exposed plywood on the exterior cab, we found the lack of quality control to be astonishing. In addition, there was a malfunctioning leveling system and the shower leaked! Speaking of leaks, we have NO idea where the water came from, but Laurel found water under the mattress in the cab bunk area. Mysterious water leaks also known as purple monkeys.

Absolutely! Our rig was finally delivered (ordered in January) it was the first thing we did after the dealership did their PDI. We hired (tried to get you but your reply was you would not be in our area) a certified inspector to follow up the dealerships PDI. We were impressed with the inspection. And the report with all the pictures was phenomenal! We are so happy we spent the $$$ on the inspection! He found very little (all minor stuff -trim etc. ) and said he was impressed! Our rig on a scale of 1-10 he gave a 9.

Did you know that Nexus RV was started by the two guys who used to be in charge of Gulfstream’s motorized division when Gulfstream stopped making Class A diesel pushers during the 2008-2010 financial crisis meltdown. I own one of these diesel pushers. The quality sucks. I’m not surprised at what’s in Nexus now! Thank you for sharing this video and warning everybody about Nexus!

Great inspection! Nexus never was on our list of possibilities because I’ve always thought their fit and finish was subpar on every unit I’ve seen. But this one takes the cake. What a piece of crap!👍🏼😎
It appears that you have said and shown all that needs to be said about this unit. I personally have never been impressed with the quality of their RVs. However, I am impressed that Laurel can consistently hold her water until the end of the day. I do wish I could do that.......

We bought a 2021 Newmar Kountry Star and it had less problems in it then a 2023 (considered new) Fleetwood

They are Definitely consistent with their quality 🙄. At an MSRP of $299 k there's a lot of contingent out there!
I recall seeing their debut into the market at the Tampa RV Show one year. They didn't impress then, and they sure don't impress me now!

Remember - the "customer" that Nexus listens to is the dealer. THAT is who cuts a check to the factory for each unit on the lot. We, the buying public, are simply end users, with little ability to influence manufacturers who have already been paid.
Name and shame seems to be the only way to reach them in a manner that might sometimes actually work.
Also, many Super C owners actually like the commercial cab steps vs the streamlined plastic/fiberglass tiny slippery things. But yeah, cover those tanks and chassis components for that kind of money.

Come on man, that bowed slide it will 'Break In' and seeing the outside from the inside, that's for the all the water to drain out. Dave Middleton and Claude Donati they know exactly what's being produced and sent out. But the wheels are black and look good, so it's all good.

The inside gutters were optional and they probably forgot to install them LOL.

Nexus brags about quality and steel cage… but every time I walked one in shows I saw issues. The one at a show they had so many issues they had to close the unit as the steps failed to get in… Nice looking paint but it always looks so cheap on the inside like a unit stuck in the 70’s time frame.

Directly from the shop after waiting 6 months and knowing we, @ Blue Ox, were going to perform the inspection for their customer.

On Motorhomes, even $1M ones, they all have issues. It’s a matter of what you will accept.
That is the problem of most consumers. They don't know what is acceptable and because they are paying a lot of money, they think that should be good enough to be delivered an acceptable quality blindly.
Exactly what the industry hope and feeds off of.
We are there for the ones who wants to have the value they are paying for. Reality of the RV industry...

I use to watch Matts RV reviews , Matt is ok , he try's hard . I think it was last year Matt was at the Nexus MFG and the rep was showing Matt a Nexus and how they was made , also the rep said all Nexus RVS go through a rain test , just maybe that's why the Nexus you inspected had some water and rust . Here is a challenge , send a copy of this vedio to Nexus saying please watch and leave a comment . And if you did that ,, just maybe they will realize that they have a big problem with the workers there

Like I said...you can have the best intent, yet if your team doesn't have the same ethic, your vision doesn't make it to the floor.
Management is key in any manufacturing facility.
When we were buying 3 years ago I walked in a Wrath that was on the lot. Absolute POS even the sliding door was ripped off the track. Delivered from the factory to Akron OH. Spent about 2 minutes in and walked out. Nexus has serious long term quality issues.

The design, matetials, and quality of the interior are atrocious. I mean, it looks like you took the front of a semi and bolted it onto a $30K travel trailer. When the craftsmanship of what you can see is total crap, why would anyone think the stuff that really matters was done right?

I said it before and I'll say it again Nexus RV's are junk!! If they don't change the way they do business they are going to be out of business. My favorite driving music always starts with some Earth Wind and Fire then goes to some Van Halen and then rounds out with some Supertramp. Great job as usual guys.

This RV is a burst. Extremely poor build quality and the fit and finish sucks. I saw enough at minute 6 of the video. Run from this rig, waste no more time save your money and run!
