What a marvelous way to simplify the complicated scene into something that lives up to a "Sketch". These sketches not only tell stories but trains the viewers' eyes to interact with the sketch they are looking at. A friendly lesson for beginners indeed. 👌 The color splash at the end could have been little random and limited. 🙂
Very helpful in showing how continuous loose line works. (I need to practice this...) The spot colors drive the focal center and the vanishing point, so yes, they work (at least for me).
Toby, every time I watch your videos I love your style and the loose way you draw. It is so you. Absolutely inspiring. Your touches of color are always so spot on. You certainly make it look so easy. Thank you!
Absolutely so helpful. I love your loose style so much and you explain things so clearly that i feel inspired to ‘let go’ more. Thank you so much. You’re such a natural teacher.
Thank you so much for sharing your skill and passion - I really appreciate your work - you have inspired me to start sketching. My wife is an artist and you have given me a way to join her in her passion - thank you again!!!
Once again, thank you. You make it look so easy that I'm inspired to try and try again. Answering your query, yes, I think the punch of colour at the end enhances the sketch.
Loved the bunting and agree the colours make the picture pop but my brain always wants to do realism so personally think I need to change the way I think!
wonderful!! This was so many lessons in one demo!!! You really make me want to DIVE in and give it a try. And I will. You have a lovely way of describing what you are doing without over-complicating it. Really lovely work. Thank you so much for this.
I think I like the idea of throwing the red in there, but not on the people. I was thinking of string lights or something other than the people. On the other hand, it did make a more 3D effect. Hmmm
Thanks! I learn so much from you! Please, though, please... just ditch the background music. It becomes highly irritating and hampers hearing. Otherwise, we'll done! Looking forward to your next videos

Yes, the punches of color added rather than detracted. Thank you for another great video.

And I LOVE the added colors at the end. Really brings it to life and it was brilliant. I MUST try that!!

I also think the pops of colour help the sketch. Great sketch..and so quick too!
