Attention: PWC means Premium WaterColours. ShinHan has a watercolour line called Professional. Which is their student grade paint!!!
PWC is the artist grade paint. Which I love..
I know a shop here in old Europe where I get it ridiculously cheap. Less than half the price Jackson's asks for it if I remember correctly.
Best value to price wc paint I own but overall quite good.
    Thanks for your vid.

Thank you so much for clarifying wasn't 100% sure but knew it was their professional line, they defiantly seem to be one of the most affordable brands I've tried. They've been great to use so far!

Cool selection of colours and nice paintings! I haven't tried too many ShinHan paints yet, but i do love their Shadow Green and Brown Red.

It's definitely a much more versatile range of colours than what I thought it'd be! From what google was showing those two colours look beautiful, would create some great mixes!

Nice demo & review. 👍 It's odd how set B costs almost 2x that of Set A. Such is life. Happy New Year!

Really? It was cheaper then set A when I bought it! I found that quite random honestly. Glad you enjoyed the video:))

Hullo Elvie, I have found ShnHan to be a very good company and they create some truly wonderful art supplies! I have their alcohol markers and I just purchased their set A gouache collection. I thought as they were a Korean company prices would be less expensive for you down in New Zealand or Australia, is that not the case? I know the American paints are quite expensive for most Australian users, is it the same New Zealand? I did enjoy this video very much and the proof is always in the pudding, swatches can only show you so much, so you creating paintings from these paints is simply the best way to test them out! Thank you. I am looking forward to seeing you create more content using a mixture of paint brands! See ya soon.

I didn't realize they did gouache as well, will defiantly have to give it a go! Most watercolour brands cost heaps just due to shipping but especially American watercolours, the European and south east Asian brands are at a similar pricing local art supplies are crazy expensive so I stick with buying from JacksonsArt. Great suggestion about mixing the brands, I do in my day to day paintings but I haven't thought about it as a video!

@@ElviesArt I started many years ago and My Gran made me my first palette. When I went out to buy my own I had to buy a less expensive brand than she provided and I learned that you do NOT need to spend the most for a good quality paints! I hope you do more videos showing how you work!

@@mjpete27 Absolutely! I've been enjoying sharing my watercolours with my friends at university to help inspire them to create, helps to get people started with being creative. There are definitely some great inexpensive paints out there, now more then ever with amazon and stuff! I will do my best to show my working processes a bit more:))
