The issues of power and deception have become a topic of discussion in recent years. We read and hear about power and its abuse by individuals, within families and churches, and certainly within political circles and governments. We hear about deception and how cover-ups have been carried on for years by large institutions, organisations, and churches. These are critical topics for us to understand as we engage in leadership roles in ministry work.
