I have seen 7 1971 top westerns. Favourites are McCabe and Mrs. Miller, and Support Your Local Gunfighter. I have also seen Duck, You Sucker, Big Jake, Wild Rovers, Red Sun and Catlow. You will notice that I have not yet seen the Gregory Peck westerns Shoot Out. That film and the TV movie The Portrait are, as far as I know, the only Gregory Peck films I haven't seen before.
Favourite posters and stills are From McCabe and Mrs. Miller, Support Your Local Gunfighter, Red Sun, Shoot Out, and Bad Man's River.

Hi Flora, apologies for my late reply. Only two Greg Peck films you've never seen? I'm impressed. Good to see one of your favorites is in the top spot for 1971. I have yet to see McCabe & Mrs. Miller. Your tally 7 out of 30, I've seen 10. My favorites are - Support Your Local Gunfighter, Trinity is Still My Name, Red Sun, A Fistful of Dynamite and Big Jake. I've also seen - The Beguiled, Return of Sabata, Hannie Caulder, Frenchie King and Catlow. Thanks for commenting, much appreciated. Happy you liked the posters and stills.

Leonard Nimoy? Lynn Redgrave? Bobby Vinton? Ringo Starr?!?! Lee Van Cleef sings the title song!?
I saw “Red Sun” back in ‘72 or so at a second-run theater when I was a starving student and it was terrible, even at $1.

Samurai vs Cowboy! Raquel Welch as a naked gunslinger! The westerns were a-changing Walter, John Wayne would be spinning in his grave except he was still around making westerns, the traditional kind. :)

@@Top10Charts3978 True. Interesting to see how relatively little Gregory Peck had aged from 1950 to 1971 compared to Wayne. Smoking 4 packs a day, at least up to 1964, doesn’t help. Also fun to see how much the makeup & costume folks made George Peppard look like Robert Redford as Butch Cassidy.

I like to try and guess the "Stars" in these movies, could not think of anyone for the poster for "Blindman" so I sarcastically thought to myself Ringo Starr.
