you’re such an amazing person i’m so grateful i found your channel. your story your shop everything is just so amazing and real and thank you for being vulnerable because it’s helping me through a really challenging time! what you said about celebrating the victory of getting up and putting make up on and cute clothes really moved my heart because i could relate so much and yes i need to celebrate those things because it’s not always easy if you’re hurting
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and for being a part of our doll community. Your support and appreciation mean a lot to me, and I'm touched to know that our channel has been a source of inspiration and comfort during your challenging times. Remember, it's the little victories in life that often make the biggest difference. Celebrating those moments of self-care and self-love, like getting up and putting on makeup and cute clothes, is a beautiful way to show yourself some compassion. I'm here to share my journey and create a supportive space for you and everyone in our community. If you ever want to chat or share more of your thoughts and experiences, please feel free to reach out. We're here for you, and together, we can continue to uplift and encourage one another. Sending you a virtual hug and lots of positive vibes, Rachel
Love the chemistry you and Christopher have together. I hope you're doing well Rachel, I know things been tough lately but I sincerely appreciate how open you are and showing the world its okay to need time and that there are no such thing as a little victory and to celebrate the wins we have, no matter how small they may be to us.
I am a 57-year Old gentleman and have been collecting Barbie for about 30 years. The pride and joy of my collection is a ponytail Barbie number one brunette in near-mint condition I have had her approximately 26 years and has only been taken out once for the big toy show about 10 years ago.. she still retains her beautiful flesh tone and has her original stand.. I wish I had not sold any of them, now that they are most difficult to find.. I plan to leave her for my daughter but feel that she might not appreciate Barbara as much as I do.. keep collecting what makes you happy just keep collecting...
Wow! I think I had that yarn bathing suit !!!! Ooooh, if only I'd saved my 60's and 70's Barbie clothes and shoes! Also, I love watching Christopher !!!!!!
dear rachel, condolences & may jonathan green rest in eternal peace. prayers up for baby diane to get well soon. 🙏 ty for sharing this video, take care of you first - always. @16:16 lolol christopher is sooo funny @28:19 i love that dress 💚💚
Grief takes its own sweet time..there are no rules. Yesterday my oldest son's birthday..he would have been 60..It has been 4 years since I lost him and his younger brother. My grandson and his family visited yesterday. I lost his daddy in 2015. They are always with me. Our loved ones always are with us..Stay well and safe. Glad Holland Diane is better. From Tennessee
The loss of a dear friend can be just as devastating as losing a family member. In my experience it takes as long a process. Remember to be loving and kind to,yourself. Sorry to hear Ms.Sweet Pea has been sick…that alone can be a bit overwhelming when you work. Interesting video…not a Barbie person, but the clothes are amazing.
I so love those pics of you and your mom. so so so sorry for our little national treasure being sick. I am sending a bunch of good vibes toward her. with kisses and hugs. Hello Christopher!! nice to see your lovely smile
First , I hope Holland Diane will be feeling better soon , I lost my brother in May, grief takes a long time for some. We’ve all been there at one time or another. You have to do what’s best for your family. We’ll still be here when you are ready.🙏🏻🇺🇸
Rachel, You and Holland Diane are in my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Lovely Video!!!! Great Barbie items, I really enjoyed seeing the old outfits. Be good to yourself🙏🏻❤️🥰 Much Love💕
This was so fun! Barbie and I were born the same year so we go waaaay back! :) I need that Twiggy - I don't have one!!! Your mystery Ideal was indeed the Ideal "Grown Up Tammy" with a new face mold and a new body. Her friend was named Misty and she was really pretty for a bestie - haha! And the hoodie with the shirt is from Tammy's archery set - came with jeans, tennies, target, bow and arrows! Tressy was the American Character entry in the 11.5" fashion doll market and she had growing hair. She also had the obligatory little sister named Cricket (not to be confused with the Ideal 16" grow hair doll named Cricket who was the friend of Crissy's cousin Velvet's friend - whew! Haha!) Also agree that the Mary Poppins is Horsman and appears to be the one that came in a giftset with 2 outfits. There was an apron that said "Mary Poppins" that went over the stripe dress she is wearing and you found her "dancing with the penguins" dress (haha - loved that name for it!) I don't recall if you found it, and you found the other dress (the one she came in) with a purplish/blue skirt and a white bodice, which was worn under her iconic coat - and of course she had her hat, carpet bag, and of course - parasol. Thanks for sharing the excitement and knowledge Christopher and Rachel - doll chat is always a great time! ~Kim Hayes
Yes U & Holland look absolutely the same right down to your smiling Beautiful faces!!! I'm so so sorry for the loss of your Dearest Friend, & I personally know some losses are never easy but I'm glad U are doing things to remember him, where can that book be found? Would love to get a copy of it.
Ok thought maybe to me looked like a child's book, my thoughts were maybe done to raise to money.. that's where my thoughts went...I have watch many videos & saved many for rewatching that I do a lot especially when wanting doll information...I have been a collector for more than 35yrs love dolls of all types sizes etc. & I love making as well as when it is possible clean & restore those over loved dolls others bring to me. Rachel, I absolutely love your videos I look forward to receiving notifications there is a new one, however I understand where U are in these days, I'm not going to telling it U it's getting easier or going some just hurt to our souls.... Take all the time U need!!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts, Thankyou for sharing photos of your mom. Hope and pray your daughter feels better real soon. Yes, it's awesome to have supports around. Speaking of support...Christopher is so fun...and wow...barbie haul...my favourite!! (Misty is Tammy's friend, This one has had her hair cut)
Christopher is so mesmerizing with his knowledge of Barbie. He knows all those outfits and little pieces and what goes with what. I didn’t want the video to end.
Hugs for your heart, Jonathan was so loveable I was just getting to know him, but fell in love with his spirit, I am often very shy especially when I know someone is very busy he loved a lot of things that meant slot to me as a teen and young adult. Just take your time... I absolutely love pictures of your mom. I love Christopher, I am not good with outfit names but I recognize a lot of the outfits, especially Skipper, as my grandpa lost the fight to get me a Barbie (I had Tammy and Pepper my mom was stubborn) so got me the original Skipper and Tutti when she first came out. I love Julie Andrews and so wanted that doll, she is Ideal her face is similar to Tammy and Famous mom.
I wondered if that mod pink, yellow and other colors - one piece, long sleeved jumpsuit was Andy Warhol design? The cheaper material thing looks like maybe seasonal beachwear swimsuit cover up? Christopher is great to listen to. A lot of the outfits I remember. It was fun to see all the Barbie stuff. I had a neighbor when I was a child and she was older and she had many Barbie, Ken, Skipper, etc dolls.
As hard as I am sure it was to film - you talking about your own personal struggles with loss and grieving - It matters so much more than people can possibly know nor understand. When people start sharing their own personal "demons" publicly, it reduces the social taboo of mental health conversations that much farther. I hope I am not coming off too preach-y, but I am such an advocate for sharing, talking, reading, writing about this, that to see someone I so greatly admire (and would love to emulate on multiple fronts :) ) consistently and consciously making such an effort over the years to share? It makes me feel like I am not alone in these silent struggles, nor is anyone else. If we normalize these hard conversations, they won't be a such a heavy burden for people that feel they are carrying all on their own. So, after that long-winded comment, keep doing you - exactly how you are. And anyone else reading this, know that you will always have a community rooting for you. Doll collectors are a special and unique breed all on their own, whose caring and compassion knows no bounds as fas as I have experienced. So much love coming from Detroit, MI your way, Rachel.
Thank you so much for this beautiful comment. I very much appreciate you taking the time to say these things and to recognize the effort I put in to be transparent about my feelings. It directly affects my work, so to take the pressure off and say how I feel has been such a gift. The doll community here has been incredible. We appreciate you sharing so very much!! ❤️❤️❤️
Bless you all and pray that Holland Diane is all better by now. Wasn't Mary Poppins by Horsman? My younger sister received one back in the late 60s for Christmas. I can remember that box. Oh, "Tootie was up to no good" I love that, Christopher! Yes, about matching outfits. Mom took pictures of us four girls, who she called her little dolls, in matching outfits often.
Christopher, that's a coat for the dog, not a saddle! :). I love how knowledgeable you are about Barbie. Today you told me about some of my Barbie accessories that I knew nothing about. Thank you!
I was sorry to hear Holland Diane was poorly, and i hope she feels better soon. I did think you both looked so similar as babies. Great Christopher is there with you and is so very knowledgeable about the barbies, skipper and others with their outfits. Thank you Rachel
Hello happy that you are doing another video you always have great content and my grandson has been ill for about a month the doctors tell my daughter that viruses are going around he had a respiratory virus RSV he is slowly getting over it I hope that your baby gets better and love the jacket and the earrings looking lovely as always thank you again forgive any typos
Also let Christopher know :) that the spotted jacket is for Pepper (from Ideal Tammy line). It is from an outfit set called "Snow Flake" fashion set #9339-3. Nice!!
That twiggy is in great condition! I don’t know much about Francie and friend dolls, but that outfit twiggy has on is a Francie outfit. I just don’t know the name
What a haul! So many neat things. I don’t collect Barbie anymore but did have tons of them as a girl. Some of those outfits were amazing. Wish the quality was the same today. I love Christopher’s sense of humor and really enjoy when he’s on the channel. Y’all are funny together. 💕
Some homemade dresses are better than the factory ones (which are handmade too). My grandmother was a seamstress too and made a whole realistc looking lined stewardess outfit for my Petra doll (which was a Barbie competitor in Germany and of the same size).
I have a question, I have 2 dolls that are old and one is antique and the other it just said very old on the tag , The antique doll is wooden, Has it’s original clothing, Has a blue dress with white polka dots on it, Has a black thingy that is like a jacket but not quite a jacket, The doll also has brown eyes, Red lips, A pink flower on her hair, And red hair (or ginger) and the doll has red shoes but the shoes are painted on to the doll, The other one is a Greek doll girl that is in its original clothing and the dress is reddish orange, light pink, orange, and white, There are also little coins on the dress that are yellow, The doll also has a porcelain head, Blue eyes looking to the left, Red lips, Earrings, Brown hair, A black hat that has a pink flower on it, And black shoes that are painted on to the doll, Do you have any idea of how much they are worth? (Also Ik I said I would only buy dolls with dates on them but I was too excited getting my first antique doll)
Hi! We can’t price dolls off descriptions. The best bet is to post them in doll identification groups on Facebook. They can help identify and from there, you can look up sold listings on eBay for a price comparable. Hope that helps!
Rachel could you show usthat large doll behind you in the case? She's huge! Absolutely gorgeous! I absolutely adore dolls that are big. I like patty playpal even though she's from a time I'm not from. Before I was born.
Rachel, 🙏🙏I do pray that Holland Diane feels better every day🙏🙏🧸🧸🐻🐼🦄!!! And Rachel, I so LOVE that photo you and your Mom🤗🤗💖💖💖💖💖💖!!! You did look like Holland Diane when you were a Baby😃😃🤗🤗👍👍👍!! And Rachel, you look stunningly beautiful with your hair in a bun and with those beautiful gold leaf earrings💛💛💛💛💛!!! And I really like the way Diana Vining made that painting of one of Johnathan Green's love for Raggedy Anne❤💙🤍!! And Rachel, you honor Johnathan Green with that lovely display of your Raggedy Annes❤💙 and Raggedy Andys❤💙!! And like you said, "Continue to preach the gospel of Dolls" does honor Johnathan Green because I believe he was so smart, like was like a Wikipedia of Dolls🤗🤗!!!And Christopher really knows a lot the Barbies🤗🤗 and he is so much fun to watch telling us all about the Barbie Dolls, Barbie's Friends, and all Barbie accessories!!! And I too LOVE Julie Andrews🤗🤗💖💖!! And my favorite Dolls, accessories, and outfits in this haul are: The Mary Poppins Doll and her dresses💜💜, talking Barbie dressed as Queen Guinevere💜💜, Twiggy because she is beautiful with nice blonde hair with polka dot outfit💖💖, ❤💛cute Majorette outfit with baton❤💛, ❤🤍Candy Stripper dress with hat❤🤍, Classic Skipper❤❤, Skipper's pajamas with cute plush cat💙💙, Skipper's red dress with red coat❤❤, Ricky because he has cute blue eyes💙💙, red cow print hoodie❤❤, wedding dress, Twist and Turn Barbie Mattel swimsuit💖💖, blue💙 and pink 💖phones, Ken's knit cardigan, 60s 💛💛looking yellow fringe shirt with yellow skit made by this Doll Collector's Grandma who was a seamstress💛💛, and 💙💙Tammy's baby blue jumper with white outlines💙💙!! I know your Mom in Heaven is happy to see that you are doing so much so well for your Doll business and most of all for Holland Diane🤗🤗💛💛💛💛💛!!!!
We might! It’s on a waitlist now but if we can get in and I can manage help with the baby, I’ve been considering!! I was registered in 2020 but it was cancelled and have always wanted to go!
I went to the 2018 convention, my first time going. It was a blast! I was registered for lasts years but had to cancel due to Covid stuff 😢 But I’m so excited to be going this year and with my mother! Hope you’ll be able to go! 🤞
I've kept you in my thoughts since you lost your dear friend. It is so hard to recover from the shocking loss of a friend. I hope you talk to a counselor if that's something you are open to doing. How fun.
You do a magnificent job .
Rachel, have you aver thought about an historical themed month? this lovely medieval girl presented by Christopher is so inspiring!!
That’s a great idea!!
Mary Poppins is by Horsman. The other doll is grown up Tammy. I believe she is on a Glamour body. I always enjoy seeing Christopher and Rachel.
Thank you so much!
That twiggy is in great condition! I don’t know much about Francie and friend dolls, but that outfit twiggy has on is a Francie outfit. I just don’t know the name

Rachel could you show usthat large doll behind you in the case? She's huge! Absolutely gorgeous! I absolutely adore dolls that are big. I like patty playpal even though she's from a time I'm not from. Before I was born.
Sure! She is a large Mein Liebling. We can show her soon!
Do not worry if you are unable to make videos everyday because I believe we understand that life can get very busy!!! Thank you so much Rachel for this very deep and fun video😃😃💖💖💖💖💖!! I know your Mom in Heaven is happy to see that you are doing so much so well for your Doll business and most of all for Holland Diane🤗🤗💛💛💛💛💛!!!!
Will either of you be attending Barbie convention this year? I’d love to meet and say hi!
Just know that many of us out here are sending positive thoughts your way. I hope little miss is feeling better soon.
I appreciate that ❤️❤️❤️
Mary Poppins is Horseman and Tressie is Tammy's friend.
