Destined for my 1990 Orange Prestige...this is one upgrade I made in period...now replicated here 30 years on!

Thanks for blazing the trail so that others might follow. Now I see the success of your experiment, I'm doing exactly the same for my next vid! Mine are going to be neon magenta though, I can't let you win.

Been looking to restore a 90s bike since I found your channel, I havent got a candidate yet since they are hard to find here in Costa Rica, but your videos keep my spirit and hopes high for the search. Those forks are just sick, cant wait to see them fitted

What was the advantage of these forks over the stock fork?

      Well....they looked cool!
Seriously though, speaking from an Orange bikes POV, the steel curved forks inherently have more flex - the aluminium curved forks less so.....but the PACE RC30 were stiffer which would then equate to tracking more accurately giving sharper steering characteristics.....that was the theory.....but mainly they just looked ace :-)

@@db748R They do look pretty slick. Lol. A lot of experimenting going on back in the day.

ive bent normal rigid forks due to them being curved/raked so I assume straight ones would be way stronger!!
