  • The Son of God appeared many times and ways before his incarnation to show us that he desired to be with his people, speak to them, and ultimately become one of them.

    Do you realise that this knowledge is the key to bring back Jews, Muslims and even Jehovah's Witnesses back to Christ?

  • @ljptech

    That is why Jesus is the First and the Last because He has been mentioned from the beginning till the end of the Bible!
    Why can't people see this? Perhaps they are not actually reading the Bible?

    He is Melchizedek, the Lord Whom Abraham knew.
    ......
    John 8:56-58
    Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
    Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
    Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

    He appeared or was perceived to be human in the Old Testament but in the New Testament he entered and dwelled in humanity so he would be in the form to be appropriate sacrifice. After the resurrection he sent the Paraclete to dwell within those that believed and lived and manifest Jesus/Father to others.

    Or, was the Preincarnate Christ always the Incarnate Christ? When our Lord ascended into Heaven, He carried His humanity into omnipresence. The ability to be present in all times: past, present and future. In God’s reality, there is only now.

    I am sort of having the same view point, that all Gods appearances to man were through The Preincarnate Christ in the old testament, however, GOD,s voice from heaven was heard talking to Jesus and his disciples in the new testament at Jesus baptism. So this must be Gods voice but God is spirit??

    Jesus is greater than angels who are ministering spirits. Only in the last time he appeared and God spoke through him.

    One question please answer? Did Jesus had eternal body in old testament or just spiritual body because if Jesus was spirit in old testament how can spirit can eat ? As Jesus eat food prepared by ibraham,s wife Sara. . My point is should we believe that Jesus had eternal body (same as he had one after resurrection)and he had this body before the foundation of the earth. But at time of his birth from marry he became Human but not with eternal body but when he died on cross he got his eternal body back , if it make sense please answer .God bless

    What people need to understand is the God head. God is complex in His unity, the OT conveys that God is plural in terms of persons. God comes as a man and has a meal with Abraham, wrestles Jacob, etc. This shows that Jesus being God in the flesh should not be an issue as we’ve seen this before in the Bible. Jesus being sent by God yet identifying as God is also nothing new. In the OT The Angel (which means messenger) of the LORD calls Himself, is called by others and is treated as Yahweh. Even the one writing the Torah in the Spirit calls this messenger Lord! Jesus is called Jesus because the OT prophecies that the coming messiah will be a High priest and a King names Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew). Christ is a title meaning saviour, which we know is what messiah means. Once again God has come but this time to be our Saviour! He is no longer just a part of Bible stories but the whole Bible points to Him and this time you are confronted with the nature, love, grace and mercy of God in the person of Jesus Christ!

    It's a very interesting subject, but the theologian in me has some questions: a) why doesn't the Father say clearly that he has a son that will fulfill the law and die on a cross for our sins, b) why doesn't christ in OT say im the christ, i will die for your sins?

    • @undrielgrenger53

      It was common knowledge already.....Adam, Noah, Abraham....all the old patriarchs of old Knew that the Son of God was coming to save mankind from their sins.....why do you think God gave Abram the heart-rending, but beautiful test of offering up his only son? So that Abraham would experience and Appreciate what would be going on in the heart of God when God would stand back and allow cruel, sinful men to sadistically torture, abuse, and humiliate His innocent, sinless, and loving Son.....just to save humanity from Themselves...
      That prophecy was given to Adam back in Genesis 3 when God spoke to the serpent (who represents Satan here) ..."He (the seed of the woman, God in human flesh) shall bruise thy head (when Christ successfully resisted Satan -and -our own sinful nature attempts to lead Him into sin for 33yrs, and finally broke the power of Satan on the cross while offering a way of salvation for mankind....that through abiding in Him, just like He abided in His heavenly father, we can overcome sin and Satan the Same way He did, and finally be reconciled to God) and thou (the serpent, satan) shall bruise His heel (which he did by inspiring the Jews to crucify Christ)....
      To me, the Father says very clearly who His Son is when He said "the Lord said unto My Lord, sit down at my right hand till I make your enemies my footstool" and in Isaiah 49 in which both the Father and Son carries on a conversation . Christ the Son: "though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength..."The Father" it is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant....I will also give you for a Light unto the gentiles, that you should be my salvation to the ends of the earth....thus saith the Lord the Redeemer of Israel and His Holy One, to Him whom man despiseth, to Him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers...." the old prophet Simeon quoted this prophecy in reference to Christ at His dedication in the Jewish temple as a babe.

    • @undrielgrenger53
      @undrielgrenger53 3 года назад

      @@m.o.m.manofmaranatha1584 there's no seed of the serpent....notice, God refers to the Serpent as Satan since He says "He (Christ) shalt bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise His (Christ) heel"....
      Notice...Satan is an angel (once called Lucifer "shining one", formerly one of the covering Cherubims) around the very throne of God ) Fallen, and angels (the holy angels of God are course Immortal, free of all death), even the ones fallen, are spirits and have Very long lifespans which is exactly why Satan could live for thousands of years without aging rapidly as human beings...
      Therefore, Satan was in the garden, using the serpent to tempt Adam and Eve, and He was still later on...

    Read Hebrews 1 Jesus was never an angel! Secondly if He existed before His birth than he isn’t a human - he must be more than a man. If he is more than a man, than he can not be the second Adam and truly be our atoning sacrifice and we, me and you could never be like him, because he is not the same as me! Lastly, you kept speaking of him coming at Christmas - he didn’t come during that time of year.

      The Bible is silent concerning a A Father-Son relationship before Mary gave birth to Jesus.
      The name Jesus and the description Christ both speak of His humanity.
      Jesus did not become flesh, the Word became flesh.
      However I agree that the Word appeared to man as the angel of the Lord in the Old Testament.

    • @Max-yb1mx
      @Max-yb1mx 5 лет назад

      @@gladiator8325 I agree. However, there are many names for Christ in the Old Testament, not just "Angel of the Lord". In Isaiah 44:6, for example, you have God the Father and his Redeemer, which is Christ, declaring supremacy. The verse also outlines Christ as the Lord of Hosts! Then again in Is. 47:4, Is. 41:14, Is. 49:26, Is. 60:16, Is. 48:17, Is. 54:5, and Jeremiah 50:33-35, etc. Not to mention, the Lord appearing as a man to Abraham, Jacob and Joshua. These instances could only be the pre-incarnate Christ because of Moses' experience with God's glory. Moses asked to see God's glory, but the Lord said that if he saw His face he would surely die. So the Lord passed by Moses while he was in a crevasse, and so Moses saw the back of God and was not killed. So, therefore, in the other instances of the Lord as a man, has to be Christ. Otherwise, the men would have died because they saw God's glory.
      But also, since Christ is now referred to as the Lord of Hosts, (technically meaning the Lord of Armies (which is fitting in terms of the Revelation)), every instance in the Old Testament is up for question about which subsistence of God, or which part of the trinity, was speaking and most likely Christ was speaking much more than previously believed because of the passages in Isaiah.
