1:35 I love how Deku closed the distance between him and Shinso by wrapping the cloth around him.
I don't care if shinso lost. This joint training battle was able to show what shinso was capable of. And for me, I believe he has the potential to become train to become a hero I mean, the fact that the students he fight against also seemed so guarded against Shinso shows that his quirk can be quite threatening when he uses it to his advantage.
If he can use that cloth on the level of Aizawa + develop his brainwash more, i believe he can break the top 10 spot. Shinso would be a real threat when there's a big fight between groups
He could be exactly like Mr. Aizawa
Maybe even more for his Quirk can even control a group of enemies, or even control them to fight each other

I don't count on abilities, since shinso is also a Japanese spider. midoriya is always a very weak character. and he would have to win the whole class 1b alone!
To be honest despite losing to Midoriya who is one of if not the strongest in the 1A class Shinso was able to hold his own if he was accepted into the hero course earlier he would be on a whole other level.
Midoriya at 8% was throwin hands with Bakugo, and probably lost by via physics. If you think Shinsou is messin with Bakugo idk what to tell you.

One, Overhaul took SO many punches from Mirio, who could one shot 8% Deku. Overhaul was no slouch. Two, Deku was using 8% here, not 20%.
Three, Deku wasn’t hitting Overhaul with each punch at 100% full power. The 100% was just to counter Eri. He was at full OFA strength, he was still pulling his punches tho.
A 20% kick would pop Shinso’s head like a grape.

That would be godly but I still enjoy these
It's all good every match other than Bakugo's took 2 episode to complete. And it's a pretty good idea to do it like that especially since it's a seasonal anime not like the other shonen where they 100+ episodes directly without any break. It's gives the animaters time too. Also the fights drag too much with all the inner monologue in those other ones.
oh trust me, in the MVA arc, there's gonna be a lot of fights, and im pretty sure the main fight is pretty long but im not gonna spoil anything else for aniime-only's

I’m honestly happy it doesn’t have too long fights😭 In shows like dragonball, one piece, captain tsubasa (and much more shows) the fights and battle are too long and I rather enjoy this than longer fights

honestly i think at that moment he jumped to 20 percent because he left wind pressure and wind pressure only starts forming at ofa 20%, he probably jumped to 20% at that moment to not risk losing shinso out of his sight.
@Ayjop Yea but when he fought bakugo at 8% he wasnt that fast like at this moment right here, he catched up to shinso in like 2 seconds, plus his hair went up aswell showing us the increase of power.

No matter how cool it would be for Shinso to win, it wouldn't make sense. Big part of his arc is that he is severely behind the hero course, and needs to work extra hard to catch up. Midoriya, the second best close quarter combatant of Class 1A who has been training as a hero extensively, should obviously dominate him. But the point of it is, Shinso shows huge potential, I can't wait for him to develop further.

This was really a good fight I don't even know why some people hate it.

Shinso may have improved a lot since the sports festival but he is still far behind those in the hero course who have far more training and experience than him (as he states repeatedly). Also, Deku’s quirk is more effective in close combat. So I think it makes sense that the fight was so one-sided.

Seeing Midoriya win like this makes sense but it somehow makes me jealous, he honestly has to deal with so few problems that I wish others got the spotlight instead, like Shinso or Mirio
"So few problems"........... dude. Mirio literally has (had??? idw spoil anything) a great quirk and was taught by Nighteye himself (rip that bitch). He doesn't have /that/ many problems. And yeah, Shinsou had it bad, but what Aizawa is doing w him (training him and being like a mentor figure) is almost the same (but better) of what AM did/is doing with Izuku.
Izuku and Hitoshi aren't too different from each other. just happens that mido met his hero sooner, and he totally deserved it.

The thing I feel is that even though Midoriya was unfortunate for not having a quirk, these characters were also at a disadvantage. They never had the strongest quirks, but they trained hard to get to where they are.
Against Overhaul, Lemillion fought even without his quirk but Midoriya won because has the strongest quirk in the series. In season 1, he was ready to give up for not having a quirk in the first place instead of trying to become a police man or a scientist.
All he has to do now is keep training and basically nothing will get in his way.
@@victoriijuri9043 Mirio literally explains why his quirk is actually really difficult to use. It only looks easy cause we're seeing the end result of his training.

@@astrokattt bruh Mirio is the same as Midoriya only difference is he had a strong quirk from the start and they both have to train in their first year of UA to master what they got. Midoriya also multiple times was willing to give up OFA if it meant saving others especially in the two heroes movie. Hell in the first episode he tried to save Bakugou knowing full well he did not have a quirk to beat the slime villain with. Midoriya was also willing to die to save Kota in the fight against muscular.

I honestly think it would have been great character development if Shinsou won the fight. IDK, for me it seems like Deku handles his quirk(s) too quickly. And from his previous fight with Shinsou, I'd say after Shinsou has trained, he should have won. From his fight with Deku, he progressed a lot. Deku did as well, but, for me, it would make more sense and even build more bond between these two as friends
Deku already knows what his quirk is and there is no way he can beat deku in combat . he lost but he has developed a lot there is development in shinso's character u need to watch the full episode and deku cant handle the new powerup he barely managed to pull out blackwhip for few seconds he has to fully control one for all to use blackwhip and he cant even bring out one for all for more than 20% and if they made deku loose against shinsoo that would be too much bro they cant keep nerfing deku because the coming arcs its all serious stuff

Overall, the fight was great, but if Shinsou is a character we're going to see more often, some more build on his skills and potential could be nice to see

When he was part of class 1A team . His quirk shines the brightest and gives his team the win
And in this fight his brainwashing ability was left on the sidelines to show his physical improvement

But even with that . It would be hard to believe if he defeated one of the "big 3" of class 1A
(Deku 8% is almost as strong as bakugou . And shinsou at this moment isn't on that level of strength)

I love it when he uses his brain power in his fight. Even after he was captured, he still tried to create an opening for Shinso. Best supporting character to have in a team.
And having to juggle multiple powers (kinda like Midoriya now but only weaker) and strategize is cool. Remind me of Shikamaru from Naruto.

Did you actually watch the fight? Even when he was with the double impact quirk while chasing Shinso he easily dominated him in close quarters combat. Besides most of his struggling was because of black whip.
