Sorry that you had to go through that injury. But you made some good points. I worked in the rehab field for many years and I often would comment that everyone should spend a day in a wheelchair or blindfolded just to see what life is like for those who have to bear it every day. It opens your eyes.
great to see your sprits are high, always hard when your injured or sick. I am sure you have shed a few tears along the journy. You certainly make me smile in this video

You got really cute crutches there. I have been on crutches for 3 months + now after a motorcycle accident. Was hit by a vehicle that just joined the road without any care of the other traffic. Wishing you a quick recovery. From Kenya
Hey, in September 23 i triple broke my left ankle in Bali Indonesia. Had surgery there, they put 14 screws and a plate into my leg. 10 days later i catched my fligt back to Hamburg via Dubai. The doctors gave my fit to fly status business class only. So my travelinsurrance had to pay for an upgrade. Flying the A380 (which i think is the best airplane ever) with Emirates in business class was really luxurios. Peolple in Denpasar airport were very nice and helpful. In Dubai they drove me around in an electric cart. Everybody took grate care of me.

@@MyLouTube It is ok now. There is still a little pain, but i can do 50 km cycling tours again. Cycling works better than walking. The Bali hospital was absolutely on european standards. The surgeon did a perfect job.

Found you from KK's channel and interested to see your progress as I recently had a fall off the bike - hip socket fractured and badly strained muscles/ligaments. You are so right about people and their awareness of wheelchairs. My partner is disabled and regularly uses a wheelchair in public and the number of folks that don't seem to be aware is quite high. We've got a fun few weeks ahead as I am also on crutches now 🙂. I hope your recovery continues.

I can you why more people use Wheel Chairs post flight - quicker through customs and security - see it many times on long haul flights
Getting soon for a 2.5 h + 14.5h + 7.5h flights with a broken ankle (2 plates 17 screws) I drink a lot of water especially with the blood finer. You did not give us any information about where the crutches where storage and to access them to get to the ladies room in the plane. Thanks for more tips if possible. Sorry for the bad English
I was on the back row so I had my crutches behind my seat. I’m not sure they would fit in the overhead bins. I managed to get to the toilet hopping because it was just behind my seat too. Sorry I didn’t mention this in the video!

Hi, just want to ask if the airline ask for a doctor's note if you're fit to travel?
They didn’t ask me for one no and I was visibly injured with crutches! I had all my notes from hospital with me just in case and they showed I hadn’t had surgery so I believed I was fit to fly!
