if i could afford it and it wouldnt affect my main steam account i would cheat out of spite of the recoil update (in my defense i would be doing it to put pressure on facepunch to make better anti cheat measures)
@sealfourtyfour did not play rust pre recoil update but IMHO the recoil isn't even that big of a change... if anything it made the game easier for some players as back then with the old recoil you can script the recoil pattern making it way harder to detect a cheater.
Cheaters getting messed with is the best feeling.

@@Mister_Blean It's likely a number of mental pathologies, human minds are complex. Personally I think they are just extremely poor losers. There is one person who is 100% sure they are cheating and are not fooled by the hoax, the Cheater themselves - this is why I could never cheat.
That's just their excuse, if it was boring and shit then they wouldn't play. They cheat because they can't stand to lose. They want to put in any effort to get better either. They buy cheats so they can "win" in their mind and hopefully make people as upset as they would be.

it amazes me how PvE games have better anti cheats than rust
PvE games are much more enjoyable in my opinion. EVERYTHING about them is just so much more appealing. And sadly... You do still have to deal with cheaters. They can't just get better at the game. Not sure what's so important in their life that they can't spend a little bit more time playing and practicing. At least they are a SIGNIFICANTLY smaller problem. But the cheaters who play PvP games still play in PvE. They are still in that PvP mindset, so they will actually troll other players to still try and ruin their experience for some sort of imaginary upper hand. A pretend victory over the 'competition'. They are really, REALLY pathetic.
@Lord_Shadowfang I think using cheats in a PvE game as long as it's not hurting anyone else perfectly acceptable.

Its not just australian internet thats bad itll be also your router, youll need to get one with more bandwidth so it can handle running your game uploading to youtube, ethernet can also help

It's never going to stop,with the constant game sales ,not just in rust but most online games it makes it much easier for them to grab a new account on the cheap,this is why I'm considering stopping playing rust altogether as facepunch themselves are aiding this situation.

not everyone can speak, I play rust and I have a neurological speech disorder, some people stutter bad and choose not to talk etc, i know most people are just afraid to speak but sometimes there is good reason behind it

No. The fact that SO MANY people cheat and nothing is being done about it is the reason the coupons showed up. People support cheating more than they are repulsed by it. If it's built into the game that's single player... Sure. I'll take a look. But downloading cheats from a sketchy site that are against policy? Why are so many people enthralled by this idea that cheating is fun? Like I said, flying around and doing goofy stuff on a game where the developers are okay with that is fine. Using cheats to try and pretend to be better at the game against REAL players? Everybody who uses cheats has some sort of mental malfunction where they do everything in their power to avoid the truth. And that anonymous survey where around 60% of people admitted to using some kind of cheat? It's just unbelievable how the culture has decided to embrace stupidity and immorality instead of NORMAL EVERYDAY COMMON SENSE! How can humans still brag about the species being super intelligent? They PROVE every single day that they aren't... At least the animals have basic survival instincts. Humans can't even understand basic cause and effect anymore, because they INTENTIONALLY REFUTE LOGIC!

Camomo I found a nice hiding spot at the bottom of Silo Mili. I admin my own server and use this room that only admin can access for imprisonment without needing to build anything.
This video proves that Facepunch's excuse for not allowing Linux users to connect to normal servers because cheating is a lie. They're infested with cheaters anyway.

There are a ton of pieces of software which false flag as cheats to eac, sometimes I feel bad when he’s being harsh to a player who there is a possibility they didn’t get correctly game banned and he says “well why didn’t you re-buy actual rust” when rust just stole their money by false banning them…

I hate cheaters, but I hate it more when the game itself gives them incentive to do it. Similar thing happened on tf2, I used to love that game but it became unplayable for me with all the cheaters and bots, it just destroys games if not sorted properly

Camomo You should keep a tally of how many bans you do in a month. Start on the 1st of a month and do 2 different columns: 1 for cheating and the other for ban evading.

I can speak towards being a cheater in a game. It honestly does come down to bordem, I didn't hide my cheating nor did I want to improve a rank or be better than people by cheating. When I did cheat it was fun I don't think so now but at the time I felt the same way the first person in the video felt. It's a very odd subject to be honest, the black and white sides.
