Beautiful tones, beautiful guitars, beautiful chords, beautiful licks, beautiful people, and beeeeaaaauuuuutiful shirts!!
You got that right man.
To quote the Lego movie - "EVERYTHING IS AWESOME" ;)
I have a Sigma goldtop les paul from the 70's. Is that worth anything
Beautiful people - we still love all the folk at Andertons !
I have to say..you both make this kind of videos far most interesting than most in you tube. Besides playing so well you keep videos fun to watch as well. Cheers from Portugal.
Recently bought a Sigma DR28 as a stepup from a Fender CD60. Very happy with the guitar, it looks great and sounds even better.
So great to hear these two, greats players!
You guys play so phenomenally well. Damn!!!
This is the best channel on the internet!
Very nice guys. Never been a better time to play guitar. So much choice at a reasonable cost.
Thank you for this.I have been eyeing up the LM SG00 for the past couple of weeks. I had the chance to play one of Sigma's parlours recently and it impressed me hugely.
I have the SG Advanced. Its such a great guitar. When I go to the shops and compare with much more expensive guitars, It makes me even happier for my (lucky) choice. The SG Advanced is a real pleasure to play.
If you two would make a double album, half acoustic and half electric, simple not overproduced, I would buy it and listen to it continuously. Keep me posted!
So cool guys.... wonderful sounding and looking guitars
That SG45 has a monstrous sound. It just sounds huge and full.
I recently got myself a 00r-1-sts, great guitar for fingerpicking. It's not your typical strumming guitar but you can definitely play some townes van zandt style songs and it sounds fantastic. Great for country and blues. The neck is very thin but extremely comfortable as is the smaller body. You get serious value for the price.
"Paradiso Park", a special series in which Mick and Pete are filmed busking in a range of random parks.
Love listening to you guys😄
that opening jam was bonkers!
Sigmas are great, well made and affordable. I recently got an SDM-18, it's a Martin D-18 clone for 750€ 👍
Sigma 000-45 review please ? That guitar is absolutely beautiful . Thanks for making videos , we love it , and keep em coming.
You guys are too funny. Love the videos and reviews. (Dallas, Texas)
I've got the little 12 fret 00 and it's a amazing little guitar for not a lot of money. I don't know how they do it for the money. I've played all three guitars and the slope shoulder J45 lookalike is not a million miles away from my Adi topped Gibson S/J. They really are that good.
10 time the price. 10 times better? Mmm, that’s the law of diminishing returns.
Thanks for another great vid, guys!
I’m getting the parlor one. 😎
"Love can be found anywhere. Even in a guitar." (Bob Hite, about one of Henry Vestine’s solos, Canned Heat ca 1968)
I have a 1984 Sigma Martin SDR-28, which is VERY Martiny, incredible. These we Martin clones. Solid spruce top, laminate rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and saddle, bone nut and bridge, and it rings like a bell at 32 years old now.
Miss these guys playing together
You both play so damn well!!!!!!
Guitar/Acoustic Paradiso, All About The Bass, whatever the new drum show will be called... Really the best way to start my day.
Anderton's asylum is still the best contender for me
ba drum tsss would be better
Man, When i see this vibe i wish i was 23 years old again and got me a really creamy flattop and went off to Bahamas, Jamaica or even Grenada and just buy a shack house, play guitar all day and not stress about a thing. Find myself a little harem and chill out under a waterfall. These days there are concerts and lots of hassle and stress. Must be the shirts that gave me the vibe. Smashing show btw. Those guitars sound crisp.
Don't forget to mention the wider nut; changes the string width a bit but gives lots of room at the top.
I dig your show guys! would really dig a show about pickups in acoustics. Perhaps something with a comparison between Fishman and LR Baggs? or any other note worthy acoustic pickups.
Any possibility y'all could do a comparison of the Sigma GJM-SG100 and the Sigma GJA-SG200? Can't find a review on either guitar. Also, does Anderton's ship to the United States?
Love love love the outro
Some really nice Sigma models kicking about at the moment. More reviews please boys. Sigma v other affordable option V expensive acoustics etc etc
If Gibson and Martin guitars had a baby....
Any idea if the back and sides on the 000m-15 are mahogany or laminate?
Haha, so cool to see these guitars! I have a Sigma from the early 2000s that my dad bought, it's an awesome guitar, it even says Sigma By Martin!
Christian C that's cool as fuck
leonidas theodoropoulos haha thanks, but it's nothing special
I've got one of the old Japanese Sigmas from around 1979-1980.
It's all solid wood. It's essentially a Japanese made D28 that cost me less than 400 dollars.
If the new ones are anything like mine, then I gotta invest.
Do more Sigma guitars PLEASE!!!!!!
Sigma really make good budget guitars
Finally, they have grown ups doing reviews for Anderson's.
How does the Sigma JM-SG 45 compare to the Epiphone AJ 45? Which one is closer to the Gipson J 45 Tone wise?
I wish Anderton's stocked Breedlove guitars. A Taylor v. Breedlove shootout would be amazing.
Fender PM2 Parlor guitars are another great mid-priced guitar i think there all solid woods too
Sigma sg45 vs ephiphone j45 master built what do you think ??
Curious how the Sigma LM-SG00 compares to a Gibson Blues King. They are fairly similar in shape and specs. I played a Blues King at a local store and it was so light in weight and sounded just amazing! But I can't swing $3700CAD new!
Nice demo! Is it possible to do the sound test/review of Sigma OOOMR-4 guitar? It looks neat! Thank you! Love and Light from Nepal :-)
wow i didn't need a new acoustic guitar till i watched this video i guess i best go buy the wife a bunch of flowers or something
That 1st jam~~~~~GOD DAMN!
You certainly got that right!
YOUR OPINION OF A SIGMA 52S GCS-4 SERIAL NUMBER 29510 MADE IN JAPAN ? BEST STRINGS?
awesome sound and playing !!! Sound a little similar as a Martin
I love sigma guitars they are awesome
I am saving for one, I love them too
+Lalairu Oh yes worth every penny love them :-)
Tried the new Sigma DR-28V, honestly have to say these guitars are the underground, almost hidden, guitars which compete with the $2000 guitars. I think they're cheap because no one famous plays them lol
Can you do some more sigmas please? Like the martin ones. I'm intrested to buy the travel guitar from sigma inspired by the martin lx1 serie. It's called sigma tm 15 e
tearing it up!!!!
You guys should do the martin road series!!
Could you guys do a takamine acoustic review?
I’m curious how the all solid Sigmas would compare to their Martin counterparts maybe in a future video hopefully….
OK, been going back through these older videos and now it is obvious that we need a shoot-out between the 12th fret/parlor guitars. Sigma, Gretsch Roots, etc. Let's get bluesy with the small bodies, yeah :D
guys, how about a Sigma GjA SG 200 vs. Gibson J200 comparison next
Both players are great and in my opinion these are the best players at andertons.
The word is "perusal". Thank you Wordreference and Pete, now I have a new word too... :)
I have a sigma 000. Was my first acoustic and for the money you would struggle to find anything half as good.
You guys are awesome! Can you do nylon acoustics pretty please? Like Jason mraz' signature Taylor!
Could look at these all day everyday ... So therefore do some more of these :D
Why don't you folks do Selmer Gypsy Jazz style guitars?
Yamaha LL series next?
Wow Mick i wish you havent said you guys will do mime next week , now EVERYONE will be waiting for it .
Mick is gonna get dressed up, make up and everything ;)
Haha :)
Peter Honoré come on Peter , he said WE will do mime , you gotta dress up too :D
//insert mime here//
Did you understand that?
;0)
nope , but i'll take it , just tell me were you guys too lazy to do that or what ? :D
Will you cats be releasing a video of your park gig? Wouldn't mind hearing that.
Why not start a series sounds like but oriented towards bass guitars and players? Maybe idea for the near future :)
Haha Pete still can't get over Mick's amazing lick 12:23
I will never get over it ;)
Aaaah, i haven't watched enough of your beautiful videos to get the reference.
what is that srv type lick you always play?! i need to learn that so bad!
Listen to the end of Rude Mood - the very end. It's a bastardisation of that. Cheers!
I really like the J45 copy for that price its unbeatable
Mick says for the money it's nuts. He's right, it is. It's a fantastic guitar for the price.
The chord must be an 11 to 10(major3 octave) - 1-7-9-11- octave on top, reverting to 1-7-9-10-octave on top, I don't know what to call it either but is sounds nice and is great in funk tunes ;-)
Sigma do a gibson j200 style too
More fun and stolen licks! Thanks guys....nice affordable guitars...
i am also a Sigma owner.. playing it for 25 years and emotionally attached to it
beautiful guitars ... but you guys did a gig together?! OMG where's the video?
Some things are absolutely best left in the imagination.
Oscar Schmidt Inc. guitar video some day? I have one and it's one of my best buys, a £250 dreadnaught that sound amazing and has gone through all kinds of environments and yet performs great.
If I recall correctly, then that is one of Washburn's budget brands.
Yup, it's a cheaper option.
Politics through sound cracked me up haha
It is too bad the 00 is made incorrectly by the fretboard joining the body at the 14th fret rather than the 12th. Marketing should never be allowed to design guitars as they always do it wrong.
Pete and Mick, your playing is awsome as always.
I think people would pay to see you two (and maybe Rabea) play some club shows
just bought the j45 copy, it is amazing! I have a 2016 Gibson j45 standard also, I prefer the sigma. The Gibson has a boomy bass that is hard to control playing live plugged in. The sigma for the money is unreal! the wider neck on the sigma is great for finger picking! the sigma handles a capo better also, the Gibson sounds choked! and I have had it professionally set up! I might do a comparison video on the two! The laminate back and sides does nothing to the sound, maybe 20 years down the line my standard will sound better who knows! but by that time I'll be 57 and won't really give a shit!
Believe me, when you're 57 you will give a shit! But you'll be quieter about it ;-)
Such fine Danish... er... British fellows! (Am I even close this time?) :)
jam masters
HERMOSASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Love it! I'm really giving some thought to ordering one of the SG45s even though I live in the States.
Also, at 7:28, that's what plays when they say that foreigners are going to destroy your way of life. :)
I think I'd prefer the 00R 1STS-SB
More beat-boxing please!
Politicians chords... 😂😂👍 spot on.
"Bones, nuts and saddles," sound like a good name for a country song. lol
*Bone nuts and saddles
Brazilian guitar please 👋❤
Do a David vs Goliath with Micks J-45.
Mine is a Collings CJ-35. Andertons don't sell Collings, and I love that guitar too much to have a single bad word said about it. It's my favourite guitar ever; and I love it dearly. Too personal for challenges. :0)
Don't forget - the nut is a full 11/2 " (13/4") wide; bigger hands - yay...
When was the golden era of Sigma’s
Brilliant! LOL!
I bought the LM-SG 00. Have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Not much volume and just OK to play. By contrast soon afterwards I bought an Alvarez Delta 00. Similar style guitar but without electronics and about £100 cheaper. The difference is startling. It is LOUD and the neck is much more comfortable.
Five years ago I brought a Gibson J 45 and after listening to this video I wonder if it was worth...
Please review more Sigma guitars in this pricerange, fast! I´ll need them by tomorrow, thanks! :-) Seriously though, since you liked their Gibson copies so much, maybe their Martin copies are pretty good as well? I´ve been looking into buying a Martin DX1 but from all the reviews I´ve seen, it´s pretty crappy for the price, but I can´t afford to spend more than what the DX1 costs, in truth I´d like to spend less... I need a nice acoustic "Martin type guitar" to compliment my Taylor Big baby which I love very much, great price, sound and playabilty and mine has perfect intonation, well as perfect as you can get anyways...Taylors are fantastic but they´re pretty bright sounding compared to Martins...I did play a Martin DX1 many years ago when I bought the Taylor Big baby and I remember hating the look of the HPL stuff and also they Taylor sounded and played much much better, the action was way high on the Martin as well :-( I like what I´ve seen from the Yamaha FG800 series but I´m also really interested in Sigma´s.
I bought a Sigma DM-15 from Andertons! Nice guitar for the price, I can afford to buy another one now, maybe a Sigma OOM-1ST ! ? :-D

Jack's creation.
Apparently they have no U.S. distribution? Odd, and a bummer. I like these guitars.
Gee Mac72
Sigma is sold in Canada... just over the border! :)
I may have to put a Sigma next to my Seagull
The Gibson J45 Vintage is 10x the cost of the JM-SG 45 and I doubt the Gibson is even twice as good.
