Love this video! So glad you told folks their quilts don't have to be perfect. I think we get hung up on the perfection and forget that the creating, and gathering the fabrics and sewing, is supposed to be fun, enjoyable, relaxing for us, especially during these troubled times. So appreciate what you do, you have so much knowledge to share, and such a good teacher. Thankyou!
Wonderful video! I love that you are open to sharing your home with such warmth and love. Blue and grey are not cold colors in your home! Your home is a beautiful expression of your love for others and the time you are willing to give to help others to be inspired and to grow in your craft. A sisterhood of quilters! Such a feel good time spent here and we all need that. Thank you Lisa and crew!......p.s. I seriously think you should put out a book on how to decorate with quilts.....you know in your spare time😉
I have always loved fabric and old quilts. I'm not a classical quilter, but love the nine patch. You're so right, we never get tired of nine patch! Annette's works are truly beautiful.
Love the book and antique quilts! They are my favorite and so beautiful. I love her color choices and as you said, the mix of fabrics as they didn't always have enough fabrics. I have a quilt my grandmother made. Of course, she didn't put a label on it, and I wasn't sure when she made it. I put a label on it with her full name, the date of her birth and death. I also love the cross stitch pattern you showed. I just started cross-stitching again. Thank you!
I love books with background information and great photos, and detailed directions.....makes it very friendly to read and understand. Thanks for sharing!
Loved the quilts !!!! Would love to have the book. Really enjoyed your live show. Have your Wool book and love it. So much good information. A must for a new or advanced wool appliquer. I have done wool applique for many years and find I am constantly learning something new.
What a wonderful book of such fabulous quilts....Which one should I choose to make first! I do so love the flying geese quilt....looking forward to a pattern coming up!
I thoroughly enjoyed this show with all the eye candy from the quilts in Annette Plog’s new quilt book. I have enjoyed her book, True Blue Quilts. This was very inspirational and informative. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the trunk show and was happy to learn about the leaders and enders, too! I am fascinated with the antique quilt patterns and fabrics used in the quilts! Very interesting! Thank you!
Lisa your videos are like I've been to visit your home or had a friend call to chat. I can't tell you how wonderful for us your "unscripted" approach is because it isn't all about selling something, yes we want to buy always but you always manage to teach and share. However, there never seems to be a moment when you aren't helping someone else, either Annette and her book and fabric or Katie's new Count Your Stitches company, true example of paying it forward!
Totally enjoyed the trunk show. The quilts were all lovely. I think Foxtrot is my favourite with Confetti a close second. I also love your quilt that you took off the wall hanger. Looks like Annette’s book will be a must have.
I enjoyed the trunk show. All of the quilts are beautiful and the fabrics you showed. Hard to believe your building will be done in 16 weeks! You must be super excited.
These quilts are beautiful and I'm really enjoying getting to know you better Lisa. I've watched a few of your videos using wool. In 50 years of quilting I've never used wool and it looks like so much fun! Janice Billings

I've been working night shifts as a supportive care giver to seniors at Ironwood so I missed the live Trunk show but watched it today Feb. 3, 2021. Love your Primitive style and magazine! AND I love Martigale quilt books too!
Hi Lisa, I’m a loooong time quilter who was influenced by my maternal grandmother. I just stumbled upon this video today and already view myself as a dedicated follower. Oh yeah, subscribed after just a few minutes watching., I taught myself to machine quilt with my Bernina and was able to work myself up to quilting quilts up to 80 inches. The only problem was due to the small space, I needed to avoid any long sweeping designs. Last July my husband surprised me with a Baby Lock. So I just went from a Volkswagen to a stretch limo! I’ve quilted 6 quilts so far (two were toddler size). Since I work on a quilt from start to finish before starting my next one, I’m amazed at how much quicker I can now quilt. (I’m comparing same size quilts.). Going back to finish watching your video and looking forward to seeing more. Carla from Maine.
